Farlack, sorry for the delay. I use "Bitcoin" by X-erOs. It's a presashop payment module.

I think this was where I found it: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/123451-module-free-bitcoin/

Thanks!

I've added a few more stun guns, some pepper sprays, and a couple more security gadgets - including a 1.2ghz wireless camera, cell phone jammer, and gps jammer . I will keep sourcing new stuff to add, and always welcome suggestions.

Right after that security issue was made known, I upgraded the site to SSL. It should be good to go now.

Don't worry, it'll be hard for a laser to burn your screen, as the white screens reflect the light. For burning, you typically need a dark colored object. Also, a good rule of thumb for laser output is each time you double the output it increase the visible brightness by approx 20%.

I agree with you, 30mw is a good choice in many applications - it is very bight - and while I'm sure some people with disagree.. it won't cause instant blindness in a careless mistake situation. Don't let that statement preclude good laser safety, technically speaking anything over 5mw is considered dangerous, but in practice I've accidentally beamed myself with 30mw and I can still see... most of the time. Looking forward to your business!

To answer a few questions I saw - Yes, the lighters are all refillable. You can use a standard butane refill available at walmart for $2-$3 which will refill it many times.

They will work upside down - depending on fuel level, they might sputter and die in which case you'd have to turn it over.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I'm still working out how to get the tracking info any everything into the system properly. Seems each time I made a mod to the order page it sent out an email. Sorry about that.

In regards to shipping origins, there is a "Shipping Info" section on each item that has info about where an item comes from, and how long it takes to arrive.

Glad to hear that!

I also took a video of the 200mw Red Laser if anyone is interested, download it here: https://cryptobuy.com/filebin/200mwredcombined1.wmv

Edit: You might want to right click and save as to download the video file. I'll find a method of adding a flash player to the site in the future.

Re: BTC Merchant accepting Credit Cards

This biggest barricade to this would be people getting their bitcoins then charging back orders. Credit card companies/banks/gateways etc are very generous with customer charge backs, it can be challenging to beat fraudulent charge backs when you have a clear shipment and delivery of a product (not impossible). With something like a bitcoin (and other digital goods), there is nearly no chance you'd win and anyone who does a chargeback would get a refund. To a scammer, it could be a perfect way to get funds from stolen card numbers as well.

That said, I've considered accepting payments via Credit Card and physically shipping a wallet.dat on a CD file to a customer's billing address- that way I have proof of delivery and a signature, would help limit this type of fraud.

Cryptobuy – Site Update, 10% Coupon on 200mw Laser, & Balloon Popping Video
by
Cryptobuy
on 02/08/2012, 14:32:00 UTC
Hello! Just wanted to provide a status update, my new site www.cryptobuy.com is now secured via SSL and the main bugs are worked out. There are still a few more minor issues I am working on:
- When orders are placed, sometimes a bitcoin address is not provided on the screen, but rather emailed to you
- Email templates need work... some mail clients do not display them correctly.

I have received many suggestions, and a few orders; I appreciate your support and business! Thank you! Now, I’m hoping to keep the good times rolling! Haha – I am offering a 10% off coupon on the 200mw Waterproof Red Laser I have available on the site here: https://cryptobuy.com/product.php?id_product=16 Just use the code "BTCT" in the voucher area of the shopping cart. This laser is fun – it can pop a balloon from across the room. Here is a video of a red laser with the same module (mine is waterproof though) popping a balloon up close: https://cryptobuy.com/filebin/200mwred.wmv  Delivery times are 6-8 days to anywhere except... rural Africa? Antarctica?

I ordered a camera so will post some better videos soon.

As always, if anyone has any suggestions (improvements, products, anything) - please let me know!

Yeah I know - I have accepted that fact of life. I'll eventually work out a way to do it automatically.

I'll update those items with the discrepancy.

Note: I lowered the prices earlier today for most items due to the recent increase in BTC value (I've been building the site over a few weeks) and added a laser sampler kit that has a 1W blue laser, 100mw red laser, and 50mw green for 30BTC: https://cryptobuy.com/product.php?id_product=49
