Now that we are pumping at least for a bit.. quite a few coins going mad.. good day to stack up some btc. Following some depth chart analysis with these bad boys:

LTCBTC
NEOBTC
STRATBTC
IOTABTC
LINKBTC
MDABTC
EOSBTC
ZECBTC
DASHBTC
TRXBTC
XRPBTC
XMRBTC
ADABTC
XLMBTC
WAVESBTC
ICXBTC
AIONBTC
ZILBTC
ONTBTC
BCHABCBTC
BCHSVBTC
QKCBTC

for now holding coins is the best way to see crypto prices that tend to fall ... for investors this is the right time to invest as much as possible ...

Not sure this are investment times for alts yet though..

There is no way to accumulate more SATs if you don't buy alts so holding just btc will not give more SATs and accumulating more alts can, so it now depend on how fast and easy trade you made with it and if it turn to lost of SATs then may be you just have to hold or sell and buy any other one moving in favour.

Sure there are ways..

I've been trading some alts with some success in higher time frames and recently found this approach for day trading which is quite nice as I don't have to have TA on 100 different coins

I'm using an approach based in compounded growth rates. Basically taking quick in and out trades of 3% gain 2% stop-loss (buying and then selling alts) in small time frames to accumulate btc.

I'm using these free signals which are posted every couple of hours, some trades have been quite fast and some others have taken as much as 4 hours. On Fridays they release a bunch of signals for everyone in the channel (not sure but I think every 10 minutes or so). Excited to see how this works having more charts, so far it has been good but as I’m new to the approach it’s been a bit of a challenge to understand how to read the depth chart properly - sometimes I could have avoided a 2% stop if I had a bit more expertise reading the chart. Glad to share this experience as I've been trying different trading methods and from what I've learned in trading choosing an approach that works for you and applying it consistently is a key for success, if you wanna check it out this is their discord Voodo crypto

It depends of what your portfolio is. If you've got many alts in the red not time to sell. On the other hand, for the big ones, specially bitcoin, this are times for accumulation my man. You've got to get as much as you can during this times. Of course this correction still has quite some time to go. But trading it know the price range has expanded as well it's a very nice opportunity to increase your stack even more.

So guys, are you still hodling altcoins. Tbh, I just don't see any case for the moment in hodling coins, my start for the moment is to get as much sats as I can

That is the wrong thinking, I am afraid. If your portfolio is mostly composed of alts, then there is nothing wrong in converting a part of that to Bitcoin. But you should not do that now, as the prices are very low.

Low prices do not matter, it is important to accumulate a little bit of this strategy and we will have large rewards, plus the latter may be 2019 price increase again. That is a terrible profit for those who know this small and light investment Grin.

My portfolio doesn't have any alts, well tiny bit of eth. As for the other alts, I still be patient to get my hands full of cheap coins. It will take a while for that to happen though, that is why I'm acumulating as much btc as I can atm.. so when there's time to buy and invest more in btc with fiat, then I do my alt coin buys at cheap sats. More or less that's the plan.

Yeah, for sure btc will remain the king to be honest for now I'll be adding sats to my stack. Probably will get some cheap ETH as well. As for other coins, I'm not planing on investing yet, as there's a possibility you could choose one that will die.I think it is a safer play to accumulate as much btc as you can and when the correction is finally over decide where to invest.

For the moment I'm trading this for sats https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/457359982346633227/515633840824254465/XLMBTC.chart.png

Bitcoin enthusiasts are little worried about shit altcoins, they are likely going to die regardless of the market situation. A project without a product can't survive long.

The useful and practical altcoins which are taking a fair share of the cryptocurrency market capitalization (which has pushed BTC to as low as 54% of the market) would likely survive the current onslaught.

I think what's been tested in the cryptosphere is exactly this. In the end the markets go with what people believe that will work in the future meanwhile big players are getting their pockets full of btc.. and it will still be pushed down. Not long from now we'll be starting to go up and alts wll follow, thing is from that mid term push up to the last push down to finish btc correction, all this pumped alts will fuck some people up, cause probably will die. My point being is that the blood bad ain't over and before being over for sure there will be calls of the bull market starting as we've had since may.

Hello! I hold all my coins. I see no reason to sell them at such prices. Then it's not scary) But everyone decides for himself. Good luck!

Hey, what I ment is that for now I'm only getting btc. Of course no reason to sell if you already got them

Binance day trading [btc]

on 23/11/2018, 21:49:49 UTC

The crypto bear market has been difficult to trade I'm really happy that we seem to be approaching to the end of a cycle correction, while I've shorted my btc and have being adding to my stack I have found a technique that has been good to grow the btc stack that I keep hodling.

I'm using an approach based in compounded growth rates. Basically taking quick in and out trades of 3% gain 2% stop-loss (buying and then selling alts) in small time frames to accumulate btc. We get free signals which are posted every couple of hours, some trades have been quite fast and some others have taken as much as 4 hours.

Signals look like this one https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/457359982346633227/515633840824254465/XLMBTC.chart.png

On Fridays (today at 4pm CDT, in about 15 mins!!) they release a bunch of signals for everyone in the channel (not sure but I think every 10 minutes or so).

Glad to share this experience as I've been trying different trading methods and from what I've learned in trading choosing an approach that works for you and applying it consistently is a key for success, if you wanna check it out this is their discord Voodo crypto

If anything today is a great they to check out what this signals are about, as today we get a taste of what the paid membership is for 8 hours. If anyone has questions about how to trade these, I'd be happy to share what I've lerned so far

Cheers!!

Day trading Alts
by
Cryptonym0us
on 21/11/2018, 05:49:28 UTC

Heya!

I've traded some alts with some succes in higher time frames and recently found this approach for day trading which is quite nice as I don't have to have TA on 100 different coins

I'm using an approach based in compounded growth rates. Basically taking quick in and out trades of 3% gain 2% stop-loss (buying and then selling alts) in small time frames to accumulate btc. So I’ve been experimenting with it this week and so far I’m quite happy - of course I think I still need to experiment more with it but so far I’ve taken about six trades - got stopped out in 2 with a 2% stop loss and got in and out successfully in the other 4. So far I’m up 8.05% of my initial investment, which was a small one as I didn’t want to start bigger because I’m exploring the approach.

I would say that it all depends on your aproach - if it's an investment (long term) then hodling and adding up at lower prices is ok. If you trade though, it just makes absolutely no sense to hodl when you could be shorting for example and increasing the amount of coins you'll have by the end of the day.

Thing is trading is tough

Re: looking for 15% / day (short term trading)

it is very difficult nowadays to benefit from short-term trading,. even a 15% / day profit becomes impossible for the current price situation..
there may be some trading strategies that you can suggest here. bittrex is the place for me to trade
1. what coins you use for short-term trading
2. what time do you usually trade
3. how much profit you can with your strategy (profit / day)

I'm using an approach based in compounded growth rates. Basically taking quick in and out trades of 3% gain 2% stop-loss (buying and then selling alts) in small time frames to accumulate btc. Re: Why Bitcoin won't grow fast as it was in 2017
by
Cryptonym0us
on 02/11/2018, 06:11:03 UTC
In 2017, we observed the period of the hype, now it is slowing down. At this rate, we simply go out to the bear bitcoin market. The change of paradigms in the crypto-currency market is quite normal. The bitcoin rate can not be linear. But it also can`t take new heights every day. The change in the price of bitcoin should be assessed at least for an annual period, rather than comparing the current rate with the maximum value.

If I set a 3% loss on my initial investment as a stop loss and a 10% profit as a stop for selling, will that make me trade too often ?

I've found that 3% gain 2% loss, or even double, 2% gain and 1% loss per trade is a nice ratio for small TF trading-with Depth chart analysis. It's all about compounding rates Wink

When I say small TF, I'mean buy-sell in out asap trades.

Hello everyone. So recently I've been trading bitcoin for alt coins as I find that alt coins are far more volatile due to lower volume compared to Bitcoin and thus more profitable when it comes to day trading. Any great alt coins I should be looking into for trading? I'd like to hear your opinion on this method of trading!

Sure thing!!.. Are you acquainted with market Depth chart signals I follow this trading group https://discord.gg/TbYwFNp Voodoo Crypto. Shorting alts against btc for day trading is a good strat for increasing your BTC stack

Has anyone found volatility in altcoins? I see the market very still and difficult to find opportunities for quick profits.
Which exchange do you use for this type of trade?

I use Binance with market Depth chart signals as a tool .I only know of this group that uses this kind of signals https://discord.gg/TbYwFNp
