Isn't it interesting that those who pontificate that "Money is not everything" usually have money?
Be broke for a few weeks unable to pay your bills, pay rent and afford basic necessities, and then let's see if you'd still hold the same position about money.
Let us be sincere and stop fooling around; MONEY IS SOMETHING! A very huge something!! At least in this present world. Might not be a big deal in another world. But in this world? Save me the sermon.
Without money in this world, rarely does anything get done. In fact, many things suffer needlessly without money. Even the Bible is flat-out frank enough to recognize the fact that money answers all things in the context of this present world. It doesn't say money is "the answer to all things" but it answers all things.
So please, before you sermonize me that money is not everything or that money is no big deal, credit my blockchain address with one thousand units of Bitcoin and forget about it. Then I'd believe you. In fact, I'd sing it along with you...money ain't nothing!
Money counts.....

Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful?
More and more people are realizing how powerful data is and need to be protected. Data is the new oil, and companies like FB and amazon are the new petrodollar oil champions in the world. Fortunately, blockchain provides a reliable way to break these islands of data and create a world in which data can be liberated by sharing data while still maintaining the same ledger or its original ownership, allowing creators to be rewarded.
I see the world moving towards this direction in no time, blockchain is a real game changer in this era.

Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do?
Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.
Thoughts? What would you do?
I'd sell because a correction will occur

Re: Doubling your bitcoin every 3 months with sports betting
Since July i doubled my bitcoin betting bankroll but bitcoin itself has fell in value from $8200 to $6700, still big profit though. Would have been insane if bitcoin value also climbed.
Can you please share some screenshots? I love appreciating people who turn their money into fortunes by gambling, especially sports betting. I've had been doing it before but tough luck, as most of my bets were on odds bigger than 5. It's not like I didn't win as sometimes, it even used to be more than 3 wins in a row (I don't have a link as it was a bet at Directbet which is not online anymore) but then, the way I used to bet didn't favor me as most of the games were like tables turned by underdog teams. I'll try to learn and apply the strategy that's explained through that thread and see if I could gain back my capital that I lost due to some unbelievable yet lost bets.
Agree
Plus: with skills and patience, all game can turn time to money My friend of college play poker texas holdem in professional way.. he is very skilled and has much patience He turns time in s tons of bucks
But, not all can do this..
Some are not cut out for this, I make good earnings from betting in sports but in fiat tho, would be nice to betting sports games in btc
At the end of the year you can always expect some kind of relly. But i´m not sure it will be such one like last year, last year it was a bubble.
I think even though the end of the year could not be like last year, it was difficult to soar. but it is still possible to rise at the end of the year but only a few percent and that is very grateful. this year Crypto was really not good and very bad but don't worry maybe in the next year will be replaced by a good year,
No doubt this was a bad year for crytpos i believe this'll be the lowest we'll see some coins.
