I don't think the future is that bright for this project, they are not seen as the main competitor to Ethereum again because we now have so many good projects in the space and have better vision of how to get adoption, no one is using the platform for ICO

The platform is not even fully operating yet.. thats why there are not project and/or ICO's...

Why the platform is still not operating yet? ETH fork of ETC, same developing time... and... ETH has a working platform with plenty ICO's.

I can not understand why is taking sooooo long for ETC to have a usable platform..

Please, can anyone, explain the reasons...

Hi,

What's the total supply? I am confused as..

- Coinmarketcap.com says maximum supply: 1,931,093
- The first page of the bitcointalk thread: 500M

1. Which one is the maximum supply?
2. Why are both maximum supply different?

Thanks you for your help!

Is there any guide for mining?

On the webisite says: "2.Using MyEtherWallet.com or Mist or any other software that can interact with contracts to execute mint() function."

How do I need to do it?

I already have my coins on MyEtherwallet.com (ledger nano).
Do I need to do something else?

Thanks!

It's true that the majority of people say that the value of ETC should be 0.1 ETH. Which now is under this price.
I think that the ETC price will skyrocket on the next early days being 0.1ETH the bottom price.
The price need to react to the market momentum as other coins have been doing.

Hi,

I don't understand how it works the Reddit campaign. Do we need to have a signature as well, like in bitcointalk?

"Your Reddit share has to be made into a subreddit related to blockchain technology, crypto-currencies, finance, economy or laws. If not, your share will not be counted as valid and you will not receive any stake.
Once you have published your Reddit share, you have to fill the Google Form link, not before!"

I am new to Reedit, so... I don't understand some words..
Reddit share means a post?
How many posts can we write?
Should the posts be about Spectre or any other topic like Bitcointalk campaign?

Thanks!

Re: Uquid bitcoin debit card reviews
by

on 07/11/2017, 16:05:08 UTC
I consider to sign up and request a Bitcoin debit card from Uquid. I want to know if I need to provide any personal data except the address to ship the card? Also, I would like to know if a verification is needed? I read that some card providers allow non-verified cards but the limit of withdrawals and payments are limited. Does this hold for Uquid as well?
If you want to request a bitcoin debit card then you have to wait as they are currently no issuing any cards and busy in ICO and searching for new partner they are issuing cards without verification but in this case some problems can happen to you best is complete your verification and then use card for deposits and withdrawals without any problem on all sites

What do you mean with new partners? As far as I know they are currently partnering with VISA. Are they looking to partner with Mastercard? Other big card providers doe not exist, except American Express, but it does not partner is such fields of business.
Since Uquid is currently not issuing new cards, do someone have experience with an alternative provider? I am urgently looking for a good service for a Bitcoin debit card.

A card provider is not the same as a card network. A provider is the one with the card licensing and partnerships with Visa/Mastercard already set up. A card network such as Visa or Mastercard is one that already has all transaction endpoints set up for the user. The provider simply partners up with Visa/Mastercard/whomever in order to be able to issue cards to people. Companies and organizations such as UQUID then make deals/contracts with providers and agree to follow their rules and guidelines for issuing cards under different customization options for their respective clients. Furthermore, the actual providers don't usually hold the money in the accounts, as the end companies themselves usually have a system for that. If you look at the API for a provider you will be able to see what UQUID and other similar companies have access to and have to manage on their end. A lot of it is actually out of their control and depends on the providers.

Hi,

I read few posts above that UQUID is not issuing more cards.
Is this issue already being solved? I am interested to get a plastic card.
For the Silver package, there is a maximum top up of 2500$, this is a lifetime limit or a monthly/weekly limit?
The same applies to the ATM withdrawals which are up to a maximum 1000$, lifetime/monthly..?

How many cards can you have linked to the same account?

Do you know another debit card which is accepting NAV coin as a cryptocurrency?

Thanks!

Well in that case I'm gonna keep using Cryptopay. 2.2% combined with the awful Bitcoin exchange rate is a lot of money.

I think that in a way or another they all have bad rates and fees. At least Wirex was accepted everywhere I needed until now.
On another hand, I expect you share the Cryptopay experience with us, since if it's indeed better, they'll earn more users.
And I expect that more the users, lower the fees are going to be sooner or later.

Does Wirex cards have chips and/or contactless? What about Bitstamp debit cards?

They are advertising for some 2 months already that contactless cards will be available soon. But afaik they are not there yet.
My card does have chip though - I didn't know that cards without chip are still being made in 2017.

Hi,

Thinking to get a debit card to pay with bitcoins. I am completely new to this debit card world, so no idea how it works all together.
I live in the UK, so... what I read on this threat is that European countries have debit cards abaiable. Now.. the question is which one is more reliable and the fees are less.

When do you need to pay fees?
- When you deposit btc to your debit card?

or/and..

- When are you using the debit card to pay?

How do they calculate the exchange rate to pass from BTC to fiat? because if you have btc on your account and every time you pay with your debit card I believe they will need to exchange the BTC each time...

Thanks!

The fees are debatable as you can see. We don't know yet which is better.
Some have more expensive card issue, some have bigger fees, some are late sending the cards or validate documents.
On my Wirex card I paid a fee to have the card. Then I pay 1 EUR every month I have money on the card. And I pay a fee when I convert from BTC to EUR and, although there's no fee at converting from EUR to my country's RON, the exchange rate is far from great, meaning that I somehow pay when I use the debit card too.
So, shorty, on each step Smiley

The VISA card holds EUR, not BTC. You convert when you want to have money at hand to spend. It's not converted automatically from BTC when you want to use the card in the shop.

Thanks for your reply.

I have just check Cryptopay card. I would like to compare the data with Wirex for example, as it's one of the more popular cards out there. I will be more than happy if you can share the same info about your Wirex experience:

- Issue debit card:   £15 (include shipment)
- Monthly card maintenance: 1€/£1
- Deposit: 1% (fee deposit) + 1% (currency exchange) = 2% TOTAL
- ATM transaction (national): 2.25€ / £1.75
- ATM transaction (international): 2.75€ / £2.25 + 3% foreign trans. fee
- How many cards can you have? Just one card in each currency.
- Not verified user limits: £1000 lifetime limit for deposits.

Hi,

I have just found Holytransaction website while I was trying to find the best way to cash out BTC into Fiat (£ or €).
I checked the website and the FAQ section but I still have some doubts:

- From BTC to Bank transfer transaction (€):

a) Fees are just 2% or are there any other fees like exchange fees?
b) The max limit for transfer is 600€ each time. How many monthly/weekly transfers (times) can you do?
c) Will my bank charge me because of receiving this transfer?

Thanks!

Hey Dev, I know the holding bounty is around 130k, how about you allocate 40k to get POSToken listed on an exchange and give away the remaining in the holding bounty.

It is a good idea and really advantageous proposition. Having POSToken in a bigger exchange everyone will be benefit from it and the price and popularity of the token will rise exponentially.
I do not know the money is necessary to be added to an exchange but probably it would be less than 40k and the money for the bounty won't be reduced a lot.
I believe all POSToken holders will agree with the decision.
I do not know if it's possible to arrange a kind of votation or even a poll in Telegram channel.

True. Expecting 30 USD by the end of November, 2017.

ETC is very slowly fading away. This small rise is a chance to sell.

why do you think it's slowly fading away?

Happy to see that the ICO is doing well. This is good for the project and long term funding.
yup..this coin will get a lot more just because the ideea is brilliant and the community is also helping by sustaining with the bounty campaign.

Hi,

when finish the bounty campaign? and the pre-sale ICO?

Thanks

The pre-sale ends Nov 5 at 12pm GMT.

Please direct bounty related questions to the bounty thread.

Ok, thanks for the reply.

One question about the two different tokens... I understand what Spec-D is, but.. I can not understand Spec-U. I have seen the videos and some reviews about the Spectre and I can not figure out what´s the purpose of Spec-U. Any easy explanation will be much appreciated.
