I cannot find anything anywhere regarding this project - there also seems to be discrepancies with the ticker (CE (ECOT) vs the explorer (ECO))

Look at the end of the day, I dont know if Prowe is telling me the full truth, part of or not at all - but I have decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.

In time he will prove it either way, for better or worse. I still wont be investing in this project but I will watch it and hope to see it develop.

I am just trying to clean up a very scammy industry - Scam projects will only lead to the total demise of cryptocurrency...

I want to apologise for earlier comments - I have had a lengthy discussion with Prowe regarding the issues with Boat etc. At this stage we have resolved our dispute to a degree.

I dont think Prowe is a scammer or that he intentionally disbanded BOAT - I think he got mixed up with a developer who is simply useless and not progressive enough to move in any direction and simply had to move on.
This is evident as the developer spends far more time playing PUBG than he does developing the projects. This would be all well and good (everyone needs to play games) but not when he tells you he is too busy to do anything or will reply later, still uses pirate language etc.

The situation could have been handled better from all sides - me included. A little transparency would go a long way.

But the long and short - after a long discussion - I do think Prowe is genuine with XSTC - I certainly hope so anyway.

Had wondered where you go to, lots of time spent on this one now - it is all making sense this is BOAT 2.0 - dead inactive coin - sure you can put a bit of lipstick on it (new website and twitter account - how long did that take- 1hr???) but it is still a pig - this is not going to be developed, likely never will be and be honest you have likely dumped most of your coins on these people - You will likely hang around and make some insignificant posts to make it seem like something is happening and to protect your image but this is just another pump and dump vessel for you -

You wont join the discord server or open the Slack at BOAT, honestly, if there is any activity in there at all I would be extremely surprised.

Caps was just to get your attention - it opened a dialogue for better or worse, so it achieved what it needed.  

Disco server at nearly 40 heads now... There is alot of interest starting to develop in new BOAT, things are shaping up as far as the market is concerned but we need to address some of the stuff we have previously mentioned...We can do alot with the project Prowe, you know it, I know it, dev knows it, the whole community knows it... We need to work together, which means, the story must be laid out - cant have the community in the dark or we wont get anywhere.

Could you perhaps put together and bit break down of next steps? There is a decent pool of people in the community, if there is an idea of what needs to be done to facilitate further development of the project, we need to know where we can contribute... I think the discord channel was a good move but it will only be really constructive with some input from Dev and yourself... Slack is also awesome - I think it should be a bit reserved though... dont want it becoming the wild west in there, with frequent posting and potential disruption/distraction.

I want to see this project succeed, like everyone - I am sure the OBAViJEST does too (IMO he should keep the remaining premine so that he has a large amount of skin in the project - might serve as incentive to develop it further and more consistently) - the coin specs are great - the potential use for the coin is great.... Marine insurance industry tipped to grow to $40b USD over next 3 years and looking for innovative insurance products... BOAT in the front seat for this... With a roadmap, whitepaper, dev commitment and some established networking, BOAT will fly..... This is only one use for the coin - cruise currency, mooring, etc there are extensive possibilities beyond what we are looking at but focus on the main play first...  

We can make something special here Prowe - lets not forget we are on the same side... Just need to ensure we have some form of commitment from Dev..

Take what you want from the tone of my text but you should understand the frustration considering I have posted constructively multiple times with not even a single acknowledgment - just because I haven't been an active member on this forum or in the community does not mean I have not been holding BOAT or have a reasonable stake... C'mon mate...Prowe - even you can see this isn't right and plenty of reason for concerns.

You might not be responsible for this but guess what, you have listed yourself as the strategist and marketer on the project and noted this on the website - As a fundamental member of the project at this stage unfortunately that means you are just as important. You also happen to be the only active part of the project team and the only one that does any PR.. I have praised you for your work to date but OBAViJEST needs to re-evaluate..... Almost 500sats today.... surely a wakeup call...

A note to you two in particular, are you a couple of fellas who are trying to simply cash in on the blockchain buzzworld or are you actually serious about the BOAT project?

Sort the cx wallets with the folk down at cx and worry about listing on other exchanges once you lay out a plan and roadmap... If you are serious about the coin - act like it.

That's what the market wants to see and that when you will see direct investment come into play. Not from signatures promoting a coin that does nothing, made no inroads, or has any form of tangible plan....

If you are not serious about investing time in it, then hand over the project development to someone who is.

Also a word of advice DO NOT ever ignore your community. If you want to be respected and not have shreds torn off you when you try to launch another dead end coin, I imagine a lot of stuff like "Hey everyone remember boat?? Same dev, It was going to be the next big thing in maritime, until 1 week later when the dev got ADHD and gave up on it, likely going to happen here too??? dont touch his stuff, he doesn't give a shit about it"

Unfortunately it seems anyone can develop a blockchain and cryptocurrency these days, however only a good, respectable developer and project team will try to bring true value to it. Yet to see it here and really hoping Obavijest can prove this for the better.

Cryptopia and ever inflating listing price is a joke... yes it might be a decent size exchange but the service levels are subpar.. Lots of complaining listers in the cryptopia threads.

They also take a fee from all transactions - money for jam now since the infra has been around for so long... they claim it is "surge rates" while they have a backlog..

This doesnt seem right to me - they cannot service the client base they have and they want to jack up prices and then still not service the people who are paying big money to list.. as a deterent?? No they, dont mention anything about a backlog - this is just the quoted price on the site - growing every time you check in. I think all coins should boycott cryptopia until they become reasonable and their service levels improve.. Yobit is one opportunity... but I am looking currently at the highest volume exchanges over last 24 hours which gives you a decent idea of where they stand and pretty much anyone in the top 15 here....Some dont list many coins but that in itself could be of benefit.

Hashrate growth - attractive and one of the more profitable mining coins.
Fast Blocks
POW almost over
POS - low inflation - decent growth rate.
Excellent looking website
Functional clean wallet
Strong Medium and Long term potential
Target market is tipped to grow to $40B Usd globally over next 3 years moreso over a longer term.
Industry wants innovative insurance products.
Insurance companies looking for innovative technology to manage insurance contracts.

Cons (at this stage):

Limited Exchange exposure and exchange wallet issues.
Previous argh matey pirate stigma not professional maybe holding it back - needs the new look facelift.
Roadmap needs to be published
Team needs to be established.
Network/key partnerships need to be established - at least market needs to see something cooking on this front..
Lack of prospectus



Once we have a little light on the exchange situation it may lighten up the concern for some holders...You can still buy and sell, just not deposit or withdraw Boat at the moment. Not something within the control of prowe or OBAViJEST although if it continues in lieu of community raised tickets I would hope they would step in and talk to the folk at the exchanges involved.

I hope the team are not taking this the wrong way, I am entirely positive about this project and the people steering the ship so to speak - I hope this is all taken as constructive.

There definitely isn't anything wrong with the blockchain - smooth as silk and attracting miners by the day. Wallet is also smooth as.

The exchange is a bit of an issue, one would have thought they would have rebooted by now. Agree this is more an issue at the exchange end but they need a kick in the butt.
