Can someone tell me where I can locate my private key in the wallet? The wallet is pretty simple but I can't seem to find where to locate it. Its not in the advanced tab. Want to make sure I back it up just in case something happens
Your private key is a combination of the 12 secret words+ the passphrase entered by you during wallet creation.(please have this written down)
Alternatively you can find a copy of your wallet.json file at the following location which can be used to restore your wallet.
For Windows : Run (Win+R) %appdata%\x42Node\x42\X42Main\
Linux : Located in your home directory ~/.x42Node/x42/X42Main/
MAC : Search within the top right magnifying option for ~/.x42Node/x42/X42Main/

Shit so I guess maybe I should transfer my coins off the wallet and re-create it to get new ones. I can't seem to find where I saved the keys. It was like 4 months ago. But I still have access to the wallet and can send transactions. Thanks again for the response

Can you stop shilling the shitcoin Nano here? It's one of the worst things invented in recent years (out of those that have the highest marketcaps). If this turns out to be a coordinated shilling attempt, maybe it's time to kick Nano completely out of the forum. It is off-topic anyways.

This is funny coming from someone who invests in some no-name shit coin called Vivid.... lol but okay

What is the best wallet for Nano? I've downloaded the Canoe wallet for IOS but am reluctant to send anything to it until I can find out if it's 100% safe and endorsed by the devs. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Game over for NaNo, in 2020 the value will be at 1c, nobody buys Nano, because it is simply no more business, it disappears like so many others do, only the top 5 will survive, the rest, Goodbye ..... R.I.P NaNo
Angry Shocked Roll Eyes Embarrassed Cry

Lol you have been leaving posts in this NANO sub for the last 8 months about how NANO is going to disappear. Your previous post history is hilarious man. If you hate NANO so much why do you spend so much time in this sub? Let me guess... "I try warn people of nano. No good. no business. very bad"... lmao get a life kid and move on.

Anyone know where I can buy some x42 coins?

There are a few exchanges out there that have us listed.

We were recently listed at STEX - https://app.stex.com/en/trade/pair/BTC/X42/1D
and we've also been partnered with start-ex for a long time, with a great working relationship. https://start-ex.com/trade/X42_BTC

Hope this helps!

Awesome thanks for the quick reply. Any idea on when x42 will get on CMC and some bigger exchanges? Looks like the volume is quite low. I am invested in NANO and Iota and love the idea of adding a feeless POS coin to the portfolio.

Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD
by

There were 3 main things that contributed to Library's down fall:

1. The Dev's absolute refusal to market it and attract more users. They simply thought that users would magically just show up and were too stubborn to put together a solid marketing & user acquisition plan.

2.The Token economics of LBC is absolute garbage. The inflation has nearly stripped all its value from the token. Just look at the LBC chart. The Sat value is headed to zero by the time all the coins are printed into existence. If you had invested a substantial sum of money a year ago you would have been 20x down on bitcoin at this point. Absolutely TERRIBLE model and zero incentive to use or hold the token. They should have just allowed people to use the app with other, more establish coins instead of LBC.

3. The UX is not good at all. Their downloaded-able application nearly kills my entire computer when running it. Also, the user interface is super elementary. They needed to create a simple web based application.

I was a long time LBC follower but they simply got crushed by the competition and now they are swimming in a sea of other alt coins and random projects. I believe they truly had a chance to get ahead of the market a year ago but were too stubborn to market the project and get the word out. Now I am not really sure about the future of this project but I really do wish them the best.

1. I feel like their marketing wasn't all that bad, they had a mechanism for youtubers to migrate to LBRY and created an incentive to do so. They also ran campaigns for subscribers to earn free LBC to watch videos. I feel like every skeptic always says that a project didn't do enough marketing. In your opinion what else could they have done marketing wise?

2. I will agree with you that the distribution of the token really hurt the price, especially early on. But maybe that will slowly effect the price in years to come as the reward slowly declines? I feel like they should have just went with standard halvings like btc.

3. The UX is only 2 years old though man, you gotta admit it's not that bad considering its been a small team and a short amount of time. I believe a web-based application and a mobile application is in the works.

And on you're last point I wouldn't say it's been crushed by the competition, maybe if you consider any 2017 ICO competition then yes. But as far as a decentralized media sharing platform I feel like they are still very relevant. But you are right that they are swimming in a sea of other random projects, being 294 on CMC it will be hard for new investors to find them.

1. While I agree with you that they had a mechanism to do so, there wasn't enough incentive in it. I also felt like they didnt push hard enough on it. I actually thought trying to migrate users from youtube over to the LBRY platform was a great idea but it just didnt move the dial enough. The youtube people didnt make enough effort to do so.

2. Im hoping the inflation slows a bit as well because it really has taken a toll on the value of the coin

3. I have high hopes for this new re-design so we will see how it works out.

again Im really not trying to FUD just trying to point out some of LBRY's weaknesses as a long time follower of the project. I think they still have a shot at success now with this bear market while everyone isn't paying attention however once the next run begins I hope they have a more solid plan put in place to capture as much market share as possible

THE TRUTH

IV been in this since december/november 2017, supporting on forum, belived in team. And half an hour ago i saw the app is out. Download enter number and i wanna see what can i buy or what ppl is selling....instead of this i get a form with title...so ok CAR price 5000 eur cointinue and it wants the phone number of the seller LOL i was so shocked i start laughing...i didnt belive so i verified myself ( mybe more options avalible Cheesy ) same shit. The app is usless, its a garbage...i was so mad and shocked i was laughing sitting on my stairs and coudnt belive this shit can happen in 2018. They needed over 6 months to develop this shit and raised 30 mils fort this pice of shit software. There is no marketplace there is nothing u cant see what ppl is seeling there are no categories there is nothing omg i cant belive this. How the fuck can you be so dumb, or how the fuck do you have balls to release this shit !?!?

This is not a scam but its a 70% of a scam i am sure. Where the fuck will they spend all raised money from ico !?! This is  app is SHIT.

From Justas interview

What company are they working for?
Some of them work for the Swiss company, some for Lithuanian company Accurro (according to Lithuania’s State Social Security Insurance Board, on 21 May the company employed 14 people who were paid the average of €5705.60 before taxes).

so they get paid 5k for this app...

Download app and test it and you will see...

Lesson learned and very expensive. Stay away from this .

And Justas fuck you.

I tried to warn people about this project from the beginning. You can even look at my comment history. They raised 35 million and most likely pocketed most of it. If you have that much money there is no fucking excuses not to deliver a beautiful working mobile app. This is a fly by night joke of a project. I suggest anyone in it to get out as quickly as you can. Just look at the main founder Justus. Dude was a wannabe youtube stripper. He doesn't know the first thing about programming or anything. I feel bad for the people that invested a lot of money in this.

My guess is the next year most of their team will quietly quit (we have already seen some of them quit) and Justus will quietly exit scam. Sadly they won't be prosecuted for securities fraud because they aren't in the US so they will take all the millions they got from the ICO and vanish.

There  are no incentives  to keep  the network secure,  this  means  that  there are more incentives  to attak the network, than to secure it.

Any  currency coin has already failed.. because it is volatile. I cant send 1 million in Nano   the price fluctuate and then I will end up   with 800k

Also  you dont pay fee  for the  transfer, but  you always  pay fee  to  stwitch  from  dollars  to Nano.

Nano has  not even  some kind of reward  for  the full node  runners.  IOTA  has  the monetization  of  the DATA  as form of reward  for full node runners

You clearly don't have a clue how Nano works

I just invested in DXT and feel very confident about the future of this project. It also has major backing from Tim Draper which was a huge part of my decision. Look forward to seeing how the product comes along. Profiting off your data, which is typically sold by large corporation is extremely empowering and a unique idea that no one in this space is doing. Seeing as to how Facebook is currently in the limelight about misusing customer data, this brings a very strong use case to this market.

Monero is one of the last projects that is continuing the vision of decentralization. Its also one of the few privacy coins that is actually private. I believe in Monero long term, even more long term than bitcoin and ETH as governments begin to track transactions on ledgers. It will be the final safe haven for financial privacy. Buy now folks.

I remember when STRAT used to be big in the crypto community. I wonder why its fallen off so much? Im guessing its just lack of marketing and/or better tech like fee less cryptos have come along. Either the case I wish it well
