Bitcoin is not deflationary, it's inflationary, currently at a rate of 3600 new coins every day, this value halves every 4 years or so, so eventually around 2140 there will be no more new coins.

How would that make me happier? Living on the street? But the facts that I can't work for a year from a certain point (can't as in not allowed) is that not pretty weird? Maybe I pull myself up on my feet in 6 months but then I can't work because of this program, and of course it costs the gorernment a lot and our debt grows (all this welfare together with having the biggest (or top 3 at least) immigrants per capita in Europe makes things cost a pretty penny.

Dude, you live in best fucking country in the world, people worries with you, they pay you so you don't have to work and you can have the time to get well and you're fucking complaining the system is fucked up?

Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It
by
Cthulhu
on 18/03/2015, 23:26:24 UTC
Can someone point me to a post which describes the relationship between ASICMINER and AMHash?

I had believed it was a separate entity, and did not effect the core business. But now I am not certain, a post stating the AM Board is working on relief for AMHash holders and nothing in regards to AM holders is rather confusing.

Here you go:

AMHash1 is the first of a series of mining contracts.

In this contract, the hashrate is provided by ASICMiner, the management is provided by
RockMiner, and the platform is provided by HavelockInvestments.

For updates please view
http://www.amhash.com/

The purchasing site is
https://www.havelockinvestments.com/order.php?symbol=AMHASH1

The forum contact ID is amhash. The email contact is fund@amhash.com.

Introduction
AMHash1 is a mining Fund which has 5 Peta-hash per second or (5,000,000 Giga-hashes per second) in total.
The Fund is divided into 5 million (5,000,000) s each of which represents 1Gigahash per second.
The price of each unit is 1.25 mBTC (0.00125 BTC).
The contract starts at 18:00:00 in November 4, 2014(Beijing Time, GMT+8).
The time is based on forum time.

Duration for the IPO:
IPO Starting Time: 18:00:00, October 24, 2014(Beijing Time, GMT+8)
IPO Closing Time: 18:00:00, November 4, 2014(Beijing Time, GMT+8)

Advantages
1. Higher ROI; low cost on both initial price and maintenance fee.

2. Flexible trading; the contract is fully tradable at the secondary market through Havelock Investments trading platform allowing you to exit your position at any time.

3. Guaranteed profit; Compared to others, AMHash1 Fund will pay you dividends based on hashrate equivalent calculation protecting your earnings and shielding you from hardware maintenance cost and risk.

5. It simplifies the ROI estimations by eliminating the factors involved in constructing a mining farm, such as infrastructure cost, shipping time, repairing, electricity bill and labor.

6. 100% real hasharate; The live photos of mining farm and hashrate monitor platform will be provided and fully disclosed.

Payout calculation
Payouts are done daily.

The payout rate before fee substraction is 25 / (difficulty * 4.295) BTC per unit per second.

The fee is 1.89*10^(-8) USD per unit per second. It will be substracted from the pre-fee payout rate. The exchange rate is based on bitstamp 24h average.

The total seconds of each payout is:

1. in the first payout, 3,600 * 24.

2. During normal payouts, the number of seconds during the most recent payout to this payout.

If there is a difficulty change between two payouts, the due payout will be calculated based on two different difficulties and their corresponding time intervals.

If the calculated payout after fee substraction is less than or equal to zero, the contract will be suspended. If the number of subsequent days suspended reaches 10, the contract terminates.

Risk control
1. Before IPO closes, ASICMiner has the right to buy back at the price of IPO price * 100.5%.

2. During the first 45 days after IPO closes, ASICMiner has the right to buy back at the price of (IPO price - total payouts) * 120%. The notification period is 3 days.

3. If the delay of payment happens, all unpaid payments will be accounted separately on daily basis and increase by 0.02% per day(flat rate based on the initial unpaid payment amount, no compound rate) after three days.

Are you complaining about something or would you rather be homeless and suck dick for money?
I think the system is fucked. Your world view seems very black or white, I don't deserve that much free money because of a diagnose that on paper says I have social faulties but am more intelligent than the avarage.

So, your community wants to help you and complain it's too much help?

I'm pretty sure you can return the money and terminate your benefits, if that would make you happier, go for it.

The big issue has always been "how do you move that much BTC without raising a red flag?

Although there is a nice arbitrage sale there considering
...

Yeah, if it was possible to convert 100 shares of AM100 into a single share of AM1.  It's not; never was, AFAIK.  The AM1/AM100 disparity just makes it obvious that the price of these tokens has nothing to do with the value of the asset they supposedly represent.

*Price ฿0.00001310 now, so ~x8 cheaper.

How to Convert Your AM100 (or TAT.ASICMINER) Shares to Direct Shares with Friedcat
 1. Using the Transfer feature, push the AM100 (or TAT.ASICMINER) shares to the issuer account. They must be a 105:1 ratio, this means the minimum is 105 AM100 or TAT.ASICMINER shares.

Yet another exit scam, the list of major heists is getting bigger and bigger and this isn't going to stop any time soon, people simply like to give money to stranger and anonymous people on the Internet.

You don't need a router for that, use a hub or even better a network switch, if you only need like 5 ports, you can find one really cheap.

I really enjoyed "IT Crowd"

The IT Crowd is amongst the best ever made, not just for geeks, "normal" people also enjoy it.

^^^How is BCS?

How would you compare it with Breaking Bad?

I would love to check it out.

The Walking Dead is still a favourite.

There was another one that seemed low budget, but it was still loads of fun. Z-Nation. It seems like crap, but it was loads of fun. Definitely recommended.

Not like Breaking Bad, but you got the same feeling, probably because of photography, and it has some of the BB characters, it's really good till now, give it a try.

Z-Nation is so crappy and I just cannot stop watching that show, I've been watching Asylum crap for long time, I think I'm a fan by now...

It's the biggest altcoin, second biggest market cap in cryptocurrencies, uses a different hashing algorithm, and I think that's it.

I don't see faster confirmations as factor with big weight, pretty sure there are a lot of alts with way faster confirmations and nobody cares about them...

Litecoin ecosystem also pretty good, it is traded in a lot of exchanges and has an active development.

Re: What are some ways you can think bitcoin won't succeed?

I guess some of the problems will eventually be solved, like usability and security for the average joe, insured exchanges and custodians also already happening.

I can only think of regulation and fraud, that can really stifle bitcoin's adoption.
