Re: Should I invest in new projects?

Hello everyone, I haven't been on the forum for a long time, but now, in my opinion, is a good time to look around what is happening, and if you go into projects, it's better in the early stages .. maybe  they will give a good profit
Now early projects are mostly posted on the Discord site, there are just a lot of projects, can I get WL?
Easily- be active in chats,  log in at an early stage.
Yes it takes time but it usually pays off

Re: Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019
by

2017 was a big year for ethereum and majority of the ERC-20 tokens. Further there is no big growth, the market kept crashing. None expected such a huge loss in ethereum value falling low to $100 from a value close to $1500. By those days bitcoin too experienced a great fall in its value. Later when bitcoin started to pump high ethereum was the same without big growth. Hope 2020 will be big for ethereum.
Yes, everyone who was here remember 2017, my opinion is that correction for 2 years, with a little recovery - these are only the first, maybe not quick steps to new records in the value of all coins

Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects

A good crypto project is enough to change one's life so why not take the chances?all i keep doing is making sure i get a share hold of very good coins or tokens with real use case and yes i did have many coins but i believe that a good crypto project is all we need. Am I doing the right thing?
You did it right but it was only a part. The most important thing in this market is the market condition, uptrend or downtrend. If a project is solid, in a market downtrend will still face many difficulties, and you will still lose your investment. So choosing the investment time is still the most important.
time is important, of course, you should not risk being at the peak of an upward market, with correction there are many options to buy existing coins at a huge discount

Re: Would you lend in cryptocurrency?

if in truth there would be a question of how to lend to someone, I would also prefer stable coins, there are few racks, there are no losses and there is no%, the crypto market is very volatile, which can lead to losses

Oh God, if we want to invest in IEO we have to wait for a response from the community. Of course it's a strange thing, what's the use of ourselves if we still believe in other people's words. If for example the project fails and you experience a loss, whether the community can be responsible.
Each investor is responsible for his actions himself. but if the project could not fulfill its promises and raise the necessary amount of money or could not realize its model, then the responsibility lies on the project and they must compensate money for investors
say everything right, but that there are very few projects that return funds to investors, with insufficient fees, the reason is simply that the funds raised go to the project, and payment for the project participants

I am really curious about this question. To be clear, if there would be an opportunity to sell your tokens and make x5 right here and right now in exchange for promise to never invest in crypto again. How many people are ready to sell their tokens/coins at the moment and never come back?
some mysterious conditions, in your question, maybe I would sell, but I'm not going to leave the crypto market

New projects make good news of good things to happen
Are they all right ?
Or are they all just chanting slogans ?

REALLY!!!  What 's going on ?
If you know a good project ,NAME IT !!!
No need for new projects anymore but still people coming with them everyday so you need to stay away from new projects because none of them going to last long for even a year.
Yes, true, there are good projects on the market now, and a statement that more projects are not needed !! Here I do not agree with you, the cryptocurrency market has just begun to gain momentum, and the more projects the better, the market itself will take out the garbage

Re: What do you think about IEO (Initial Exchange Offering)
by
Cult
on 14/10/2019, 15:33:48 UTC
Both still focus on token purchase but the different is instead of the developers dispatching the coins, they give the tokens to the exchanges who will dispatch the tokens to investors.

One thing for sure is that; IEO do not  guaranty that a shitcoins will not go down the drill when the time comes.

The con there is that, (1)  investors will be free from scam developers who intend to steal from them.
2) Avoid littering their identity info through KYC in different websites. Since the exchange already have their information.

3) Since an exchange already have the token, listing won't be a problem. And also you get to choose on which project to invest in since many developers ends up listing coins in exchanges which are not even worth it.

If the token you intend to purchase is listed on Binance, you can take it as an additional plus. *Yet, it's not a guaranty that the coin will survive in the long run.
I agree, it’s hard to say exactly what will happen to the project in a few years, a good exchange, yes this is a plus, but no one will give guarantees

my opinion is the following, if crypto will develop at the same pace as the last decade, then there should be many exchanges and exchanges, look at fiat money — how many banks exist in the world?

Yes, patience is the key to success, but here in crypto you do not always need to wait, there are situations when you need to sell quickly, at least in order to take profit

Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency?
by
Cult
on 30/09/2019, 18:48:14 UTC
if I think personally a safe way to invest in cryptocurrency is :

1. the project runs according to the roadmap and whitepaper that has been made;
2. cryptocurrency that we invest in already has a product;
3. the team always updates about the progress that is happening in the project that we invest;
4. invest in project that are in the top 1-500 in coinmarketpcap (have a high volume);
5. the project we want to invest has been running for a long time (if I personally never invested in a new project), because investing in new project has a greater risk than we invest in old project.

I agree that any investment is a risk, even if it is minimal, then the profit will be the same, you can safely invest only those funds that are not afraid to lose

Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space?
by
Cult
on 28/09/2019, 20:26:02 UTC
Yes that is true but this kind of news is kind of expired by now.

Those scammers have done it a year ago and they had been successful.
Now, there is not much people who really want to risk a lot to new projects and it is hurting them. But the old ones are still on going. Bitcoin is one example of it.
Not all will be affected by it anymore.
Its indeed has a huge impact on people, it makes them more afraid because of what they had experienced and we can't blame them because it happens on most of us too. Most of them are not willing anymore because they think they are falling again into some sort of scam, you can literally find them everywhere and that is the reason why we need to be very aware and careful.
Yes, scam projects scared many, alarmed, many lost a lot of money, someone even took loans, all this was postponed, and also leaves a mark in the minds of investors

I do not agree, before that, investments always paid off and made a profit for several years, but after the incredible success of Bitcoin-2017, everyone thinks that it can be done quickly and easily in crypto, but this is not always so

Re: The future of cryptocurrencies depend on the understanding of the community
by
Cult
on 27/09/2019, 18:50:27 UTC
Is a centralized or decentralized network better? How to develop the authentication feature and ensure it works well? What innovations need to take place?

At its peak in late 2017, one Bitcoin was worth nearly $ 20,000. A year earlier, it only cost $ 1,000. Bitcoin was priced at $ 6,000 in June and $ 8,000 in July and dropped to $ 6,000 in August. Bitcoin price is extremely volatile, so does Ethereum. According to the Dacxi crypto social network, unlike the pioneering wave, the next global growth wave could be fueled by two new areas of investment: institutions and retail investors.

So whether or not cryptocurrencies grow will depend greatly on the understanding of the future community. And what do you think about this?

I think that society hears a lot about cryptocurrencies, but many do not understand what it is, many are afraid, since the media mostly only broadcast negative news

Re: What do you think about this stablecoin?
by
Cult
on 27/09/2019, 18:45:39 UTC
So it's DAI, a decentralized stablecoin backed by ETH.

History has proved that Dai succeeds even in a falling ETH environment. When the value of ETH fell from $1,400 USD in January 2018 to $400 in April 2018, the Dai system’s incentive structure successfully kept the value of Dai pegged to $1 USD.

Unlike Tether (USDT), Dai is completely decentralized. You can see how it works at https://www.hb-wallet.com/post/how-dai-stablecoin-works

What do you think about this stablecoin and its future?

I can’t say anything for this coin, since I don’t use it, but after reading the reviews of people I think I’ll take a closer look

Re: We need regulation pretty bad
by

on 28/08/2019, 12:08:47 UTC
Apart from scam artists in crypto space we have too many unprofessional developers that falsely act like they are really good in a particular field and try to build blockchain based projects but failed in the end,if there is really any way to make blockchain available to only professionals that are qualified it would have been a different story for crypto, even scammers wont have a chance, this is why i think we need REGULATIONS pretty bad.

Government regulation is indeed needed to prevent fraud in the cryptocurrency market. Too often, scam projects have a negative effect on market confidence and also new projects that should have the potential to develop in the market
I agree, I also believe that each country should have its own regulatory body, in particular, for ICOs, IEOs. I think that for the entire crypto industry market it will only benefit, raise the level of trust not only of investors, but also of ordinary users

Re: TRON - worth investing?

Still yet to know what Justin Sun got to offer as regards the upcoming news in few days,  but I believe Tron is worth to invest in,  it might do another Xrp in future in terms of its price
News agrees that this is important. but as for investing in the Tron, I think that if there is a long-term portfolio, then this coin should be in it, the project’s development prospects are enormous
