Ok, this might seem like a dumb question.... How do you transfer coins from Staking to your normal balance? It seems all my coins are stuck in staking so I have a zero balance and can't do anything with them. I searched the command line options but don't see anything there.

Thanks

Hi Lighthousesat,
Sorry I forgot to tag you in the Stakecenter post.

Which balance are you referring to? Are you talking about the Swingcoin wallet?
Have you tried a rescan of the wallet?

What's fluctuating miner's cost is programmable?Sounds interesting

Not programmable, but rather pre programmed.
(Programmatically = automatically.)

Swingcoin is now listed on Stakecenter:
https://stakecenter.co/client/exchange/BTC/SWING
https://coinpaprika.com/exchanges/stakecenter/

Established in 2020, Stakecenter is an exchange that also gives rewards on staking coins that are held in your account. So far the owner / dev has proved themselves to be competent & trust worthy, but then, which exchange ever is in the end?
Although still young with low volume, Stakecenter has all the tools to be a great Altcoin exchange. No one yet has quite filled the gap that Cryptopia (even Coinexchange) created when they ceased trading, maybe SC will.

Check it out. Come & trade. Let’s bring some life back to Swingcoin.

Re: [TRK] ★ TRUCKCOIN ★ Pure PoS up to 200% ★ Novaexchange ★ v1.2.2.0

Guys and gals, community opinion needed!

To me it looks like now it's time to radically lower the Truckcoin POS reward cap.
It will preserve TRK value and secure coins future.

I propose to gradually decrease POS reward to 20 TRK per block as final goal, 10x times less than the current rate.

Something like:

Starting from January 01, 2020 max POS reward set to 150 TRK per block
Starting from April 01, 2020 max POS reward set to 100 TRK per block
Starting from August 01, 2020 max POS reward set to 50 TRK per block
Starting from January 01, 2021 max POS reward set to 20 TRK per block forever

What do you think guys? Please post here or feel free to PM me with any suggestions, proposals, etc.

Hey Noise,

at first thanks for the good work the last years and not leaving this great POS coin!!
The new wallet is working flawless, really appreciate your work!

I like the scheme to lower the reward how you wrote, i think its fair, to start lowering the reward in around half a year...
everybody got the chance to stake a lot of blocks at the rate of 200!

In general, anybody knows how to open up a faucet for TRK??
Would give away some TRK for new users....hope it will help the community growing!
Cheers

I can host TRK faucet on my server but need to find some good faucet script with reliable protection.
Tried to run faucet for Truckcoin a coulple years ago but script was weak and some nasty bot started to suck it dry every time in just a few hours after refill.

Maybe it's worth to list TRK at https://btcpop.co/
It's a small exchange but looks reliable and they have faucets and staking pools for POS coins.

Their listing fee is $1000 which is pretty reasonable but I'm not feeling comfortable to pay it all by myself...
https://btcpop.co/listing

I must be the only one who wants to keep 200%. The max block reward has helped keep inflation down when other coins have surged into the billions / trillions.
But I cannot deny that a reduction is best.

Noise,
I have been using btcpop for many years & highly recommend them. I have always been surprised that Truck was never listed.
They have recently implemented the listing fee this year because of a problem with one of their coins, they are good though. Very attentive to wallet updates & their support has always been top notch. Plus they plan to maybe add altcoin markets & api so that cmc will recognise their volume.
They have many coins now that are homeless since cryptopia has folded.

Oh & Noise, keep up the good work. Nice to still see you as an active developer. Your wallets are awesome!

Has anyone applied for a Novaexchange listing?
Coins that were on Cryptopia are being listed for free until June 1st.

Sounds good to me. Still confused on how the swap works.

Like I said I got my wallet synced up finally.
It is starting to stake now but it is negative stake amounts. I think someone else had the same problem. How did you fix it?

Oh yea. We are at 1178081

Makes total sense..LOL

I never managed to fix the negative staking issue. I did kind of fix the problem though.
I started with a new wallet on a spare laptop, let it sync (which was luckily no issue), then transferred all coins to the new wallet. Had to send coins at a maximum of 500000000.00 at a time otherwise it crashed. Now wallet stakes more than it negative stakes, which is fine by me.

Also, I have had the same problem as others, wallet stops staking. To solve the issue, create a new address & send coins to yourself, seems to restart the staking process after the hour for coin maturity. Do this every day or so.

Hope this helps someone  Smiley

We should ask Spots if he's willing to do that asap, because he plans to do the swap for his four coins on June 28 so we don't have much time. And of course we should ask him to name the price for that and gather that money as a community.

Love what spots is doing, but we have no blockchain for him to take a snapshot of. Isn't this a problem? Or am I confusing a blockchain with a block explorer?

I'm down for a Billion or 10 :-)

(2.5 Trillion coins encounting. Something needs to be done once we hit 1300000 blocks)

I do not understand why I am negative staking.

Since last night I have negative staked about 6 billion coins. 6 billion coins! Gone. They aren't being sent anywhere, just mint by stakes of a negative amount.

I have tried different boot straps, commands & reinstallations to no avail.

Does anyone else have any problems like this? Or has anyone receive about 6 billion coins by staking since last night, that has been out of the ordinary?

I am turning this off before I lose all my coins.

I have never experienced this with any wallet before, maybe you should run a virus scan/malware scan to see if there's anything else the matter  Wink

where did you get the wallet from etc and what version are you using?

Thanks for the reply. (Everyone that has)

The problems started when I installed the new wallet 2.0.4. I used the link in spots post yesterday.

Hey everybody!
First time poster, long time lurker :-)

Does anybody have any idea why I have started staking negative amounts?

Started using the new wallet last night. Last 2 months have staked fine as well, no problems until now.

Slightly worried as I have had 3 negative stake amounts totalling about 2 billion coins over the last 12 hours :-(

Try repairwallet in console

Tried that :-(
Anything else?
