I have one of my miners hashing away but what are your plans?
What type of mining gear and software are you using? The difficulty seem to have risen so much and the P2P connections too, which is good. Quite honestly there's no budget for this so far, so kinda for it to find its community and people willing to stick with it, all I can do is have at least two nodes hosted and kept, and mining if the difficulty falls since I don't have asics gear. If the community wants to make a Discord or anything or have any suggestions or changes that they want to make to the website, I am open to discussion.
Since it was walletbuilders I didnt even bother compiling. I just took the linux releases and went on my way.
Updated wallet in testing now. Minor updates to urls in code and reintroduction of seednodes to aide in synchronizing the chain from start for new users and on reboots.
This will not be a mandatory update but will be helpful.
We have a lot of updates to share including a notice that there will be a wallet update likely in the next couple of weeks. This will include an increase in transaction size to minimize the need for wallet grooming and hardcoded seednodes.
SO... what's been happening at Ghostridercoin?
Short answer is a lot, but here are some highlights.
All updated from the previous release have gone live.
Website, explorer, twitter, and telegram have all gone live.
We have Caldera support and this trading channel has been active.
Pecunia is supporting smartnodes.
We have a smartnode helper video on Youtube.
Today, we released a faucet.
There is also a lot more going on and you should jump into our discord to learn more. We have plans to grow and need community support!
This is a MANDATORY update/upgrade. If you cared about nothing else in this thread, please just update your wallet by block 50000 or your wallet will likely cease to sync!
Within a few short blocks, we took on the development needed to keep this project alive, including fixing some bugs in the original code and removing the founders dev fee after only several hundred blocks and approximately 150GRR to the person who dropped it here. After a lot of discussion on the discord and careful thought, I decided to take on bringing this project the rest of the way to the next release. We worked as a community to make key decisions, all of which are documented on the discord. This project has been public since block one and this is a main reason we chose to keep it going. So with all this said, I would like to introduce/reintroduce you to Ghostridercoin.
What is Ghostridercoin?
A community run cryptocurrency launched here on Bitcointalk. It runs on ghostrider and has been quite stable for the few weeks its been in existence.
What makes it different that 1000 sh1tcoin ghostrider projects?
The fair public launch is a good start. On the originating block it was here and public. It was patched that day to make it stable and remove the fees. With that, here are the key bits that separate this from the bottom of the trash heap.
Fair launch
No premine
No insider mine
Always public
Relatively low total supply and rewards
No dev fee, forever
Doesn't sound terrible so far, what's are the coin stats?
90 second block time
25mil total supply
20000 smart node collateral, can only ever be 1250 smartnodes if ALL coins where locked in. (that never changes)
21GRR block rewards
80% miner / 20% smartnode
Rewards reduce 5% every 50000 blocks
Smartnodes activate at block 50000
What's the catch?
Community run, this isn't funded
No incentive to pump and dump
No guarantee of an exchange
There is no guarantee of anything, except no premine and no mountain of coins waiting to hit an exchange
We are about to fork to make a bunch of the things in this email real. (read more below)
OTC/P2P with integration to Caldera in place (its in our discord)
What's coming?
We don't really know. That is up to the community. I have already started building on ghostrider, but hopefully others will too.
FINALLY...
To make a lot of the things in this thread real, there was a lot to update in the code. We have a new version, new protocol version, new supply (see above), reenabled smartnodes (see above), and more. This requires us to split from version 1.4 and move to 2.0.5.1. The official fork occurs at block 50000 when all the features are enabled and the reward goes back to 21.
This is a MANDATORY update/upgrade. If you cared about nothing else in this email, please just update your wallet!
Thanks for reading. See you on the discord.

This is literally a wallet builders file with the tutorials. You should have the source too and post it.

Also, the explorer is just BSC scan and no payments have been made on the "pool". I would advise to proceed with caution miners.
