Re: Will bitcoin replace gold?

I don’t think cryptocurrencies will ever replace gold anytime soon, different use case. Cryptos are strictly forms of currency, whereas gold has been used in many applications, except investment, from jewelry to dentistry to electronics. Gold doesn’t require electricity to trade. Until now, gold remains one of the most liquid assets.

Re: Are Bitcoin Transaction Traceable?
by
D.Anand
on 27/10/2017, 22:27:27 UTC
Every transaction uses the bitcoins from a prior transaction, and the blockchain is public data, every Bitcoin payment has a traceable history that can be viewed by anyone. Bitcoin addresses are not themselves linked to a person or entity.

If your need for anonymity warrants counteracting IP traceability, you need to connect to the Bitcoin network through an anonymizing layer like Tor or a virtual private network.

Never too late to start adventure.
Crypto space is still in its early phase. Not even 1% of population transaction or trade in Bitcoins.

Two golden rule of investing that you should always follow:
1) Never invest money you cannot afford to lose. Investing is not saving.
2) Never keep all your eggs in one basket. Spread as much as you can.

It depends, if you are investing for longer term, e.g. for 2-5 years, then it's best time to buy. In average, it is best ROI for any speculative market at the moment.

Re: Should I buy bitcoin now?

At this current market scenario, holding bitcoins gives better ROI (not a financial opinion but it is market trend). Bitcoin as a security, no, because, at the moment, many governments are hostile.
So the question has come, will Bitcoin be adopted by mass? The answer is, It will take time, but mass adoption will faster than Credit card.  Just check the history of Credit card.  As you know current model of credit card was issued by The Charga-Plate, developed in 1928, was an early predecessor of the credit card in the USA from the 1930s to the late 1950s. But mass adoption started from late 1970s, after accepted by major banks.
