Everybody is telling this number but forgetting one... well... somehow important detail. Those coins will be all mined in about 150 years. So read the forum from the beginning. Nothing changed in xdag, except name what is matter of choice of the community.
it's 516mil each year, getting halved each 4 years. so after 4 years it will be 213mil each year and so on. and it will obviously be 516mil by the end of this year. so you can think of that number as "supply" due to the fact this coin is so young.

it's cool we're still under radars before things get big, kinda private community
Can we do a voting for gpu algorithm? I would vote equihash.
Not subject of change.
I dont like the idea to switch to GPU mining... that would (once again) strip out a lot of people from gaining access to the project. Currently its very easy to get people in xdag cause everything is just a simple proggie, no bloat. For me sticking to CPU is the right way...
I agree. There are people at the community who aren't equipped with gpu's and who are participating a lot, like designing stuff, managing discord, etc. And more useful people might come, coz all you need is your regular computer.
We will have GPU miner really soon. Experienced coders can code a miner fast. GPU miner = better decentralization because CPU mining is abused by botnet miners and AWS stolen credits...
it's GPU mining which is abused, you can rent a shittone of rigs at nicehash etc.
Unfortunately STORM prices continue to fall in recent days so make STORM should out of top 100 coins with the largest marketcap, expect prices to rise soon again.
of course, we will see it. I am sure that the price of the storm will come back again and do not worry about the problem. All will be fine.
back again? it is clearly rising, and the coin is like 1 week old, or at least 1 week on exchanges. you guys are funny

what are you talking about? there is a clear rising trend

cheatoshin0 I'm very glad to see such an active developer
Can you tell us what are your development priorities for the near future? I want to request 1) hashrate benchmark/display in the wallet 2) block explorer (maybe this needs to be a priority) to be able to explore blocks...
I've posted it in discord regarding design. Maybe we have more tatlented designers here who can play with the following idea:
...a little more 'stabby' less luxury brand  looking for feedback unfortunately I can only do this in spurts, but don't think I'm tied down to anything - I'm open to the collaborative process
if someone could embed this on a post that would be great...I can't seem to figure out how to..
I think youre moving in the right direction...I like the "dagger"....someone earlier suggested incorporating the directed acyclic graph diagram (Wikipedia)....perhaps the sky could fade into a ghosty integrated circuit pattern (representing minability) overlayed with the dag diagram in some way.....just spit-balling
that's a great idea. at least using DAG diagram would be nice and easy. and it looks great, and it carries a message
