by

on 08/01/2021, 11:25:27 UTC
Hello everyone

I am looking for experienced people in trading to create my scalping group. I've been trading several years now and currently I believe I have and edge over the most of the people when it comes scalping. I am willing to share my information to some of you. Maybe you have some valuable information also and we can become better together?
I don't need your money. So what's for me? Only condition is that you would signup with my bybit link so it benefits both of us. I am willing only to take few people. If anyone interested please dm me.

How to get Bitfinex BTC/USD last price?
by
DK13
on 03/01/2019, 07:09:24 UTC
I am looking at 1 minute btc/usd graph at https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitfinex/btcusd . So how do they get last price of bitcoin? Can I see the last completed transactions of bitfinex? I know there is two prices in order book: Bid and Ask. So does it look at the order book to get the last price? Or looks at the last completed transaction?

Thank you.

If price went down X5 back in 2013, difficulty of mining didn't go down, now not just Bitcoin and mining, all the coins and tokens are moving down.
For somebody like me this is hell, I bought at $20,000 hoping to sell higher, price has been dropping ever since.
Let me show you some  thing on price.

In 2/2/2014 Bitcoin price: $836
2/2/2015: $220
2/2/2016: $380
2/2/2017: $1000
2/2/2018: $8900
2/2/2019: $3000?
2/2/2020: $5000?
2/2/2021: $50,000?

You miss very important aspect for the price.  Yes the bitcoin price kept falling and rising over and over again. But I don't believe bitcoin will hit 50k in 2020. Don't forget worlwide  economy trend. During these years worldwide economy has boosted. But it is expected to have a crisis in 2020. Therefore once world economy starts to fall, people won't have a lot of buying power and very little money will flow into cryptos - Therefore no demand no price increase. I see worst cryptos times in 2020

are you pasting the whole line from the wallet file? like this:
"xprv": "xprv9uEDMxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcDp3boP"

or are you just copy/pasting the actual text... NO " marks etc: xprv9uEDMxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcDp3boP

Huh

NOTE: it should be just the actual text: xprvblahBlaHblAH

I tried only the actual text. I mean I tried many ways but I know it has to be only the text without " ".  But it just shows invalid root :/

I get stuck when I have to put x1/ xprv code on Mnemonic Code Converter. It shows "Invalid root Key". Tried it couple of times, with and without commas etc.
https://ibb.co/cBiv76

Have you done this?

Quote
In "BIP32 Root Key" box paste the x1 /xprv from BTG.txt we created, select “BIP32” and in Client select “Custom derivation path”, in “BIP32 Derivation Path” leave “m/0”

WHAT TO DO WITH CHANGE ADDRESSES:
Ok I said that this was only for “Change” addresses, let’s discuss about “Change” addresses (https://i.imgur.com/aZ7XHJd.png):

There is only one simple thing that changes:
In the step where we paste the x1 /xprv and the x2 /xprv code in iancoleman website you need to select “m/1” instead of “m/0” in “BIP32 Derivation Path”.
That’s it.

It doesn't work. I tried many ways but it always shows 'Invalid root key'. I don't understand, I check the x1/ xprv in the wallet file few times...

what's the problem to do this:
http://docs.bitshares.org/muse/migration/howto-exporting-wallet-clients.html
then run bluestacks and coinomi
?
Probably nothing... unless you happen to have an Electrum 2FA wallet... or a MultiSig wallet... or a SegWit wallet... Roll Eyes

In which case, your proposed solution simply won't work Tongue

Is there any solution how to retrieve bitcoin gold from Electrum 2FA wallet?

Re: Need help retrieving BitCoin Cash (BCH)

Ok please tell me what i am doing wrong:

1. I already transfered my BTC to Bittrex so I dont need to create another electrum wallet for transfer.
2. I downloaded Electron Cash
3. Try to setup wallet from existing seed - Cannot press 'Next' button when trying to create.
Don't you still have your Bitcoin wallet file from when you transfered your BTC to Bittrex? You can just open the same file in Electron Cash instead of creating the same wallet again (in Electron Cash) with your seed. Both wallet files are compatible with each other, so you can open a Electrum wallet in Electron Cash and vice versa.

I'm not sure what is the issue there. You should be missing a word from the seed or something like this.

You can:

a. Do like I said above and open your BTC wallet in Electron Cash
Or
b. Open your Electrum (BTC) wallet again and check if the seed you are trying to input is correct by checking if it's the same found in Wallet -> Seed.

I found the issue finally.. So it was that new electron wallet 2.9.4 did not support 2fa wallet and that is why i could not do it... I downloaded previous version and it is ok now. Thank you very much for the help!

So I had my bitcoins in electrum wallet when the Bitcoin cash fork happened. Then I moved my btc to bittrex and back few times. Now btc are in bittrex. My question is what should I do to retrieve my bitcoin cash? If someone could explain to me step by step becauce now I am a bit lost. Do i need to transfer btc from bittrex somewhere? Or can i create electron wallet with a seed at thats it?(I tried to retrieve eletrcon wallet with a seed but could not press 'next').
You only moved BTC to Bittrex. Your Bitcoin Cash is still there in your old wallet.

Just download Electron Cash (Electrum fork for Bitcoin Cash) and open your wallet as you would do with Electrum (or just create a new one with the same seed).

I have read the guidelines but I dont understand, sorry. So why do I have to create new wallet with new seed, and then also download electron cash. So what do I do with new a electrum wallet? And also do I have to create electron cash wallet using seed or private keys? Sorry for being such a noob but really the more I read the more lost i get..

Re: Lost electrum seed.

Why you want to recover seed?
You can try export private keys.. after create new wallet and sweep (import) private keys.
It's easy.
You can't export private keys from a 2FA wallet... it is effectively a 2of3 MultiSig wallet where you have 1 private key in the wallet file... The 2nd private key is "protected" (and recoverable) by the seed... and the 3rd private key is owned and controlled by TrustedCoin.

You can ONLY access the 2nd private key if you restore your wallet from seed... and "disable" the 2FA functionality during restore.

You will never get access to the 3rd private key.

Hi guys, I have lost electrum seed, but I have password and I can access my wallet. Is there anyway to recover seed? Thank you
If you have the wallet, and you have the password... and you still have your Google Authenticator... I suggest that you immediately create a new wallet (Electrum or otherwise) and send ALL your BTC to it BEFORE you lose the authenticator.

If you no longer have the Google Authenticator... and you've lost your seed... the coins are effectively stuck forever. Undecided

I see. I wanted to get Bitcoin Cash from electrum but then I found out that I dont have my seed.. Is there any other way to get Bitcoin Cash without a seed?

Assuming that you have a normal wallet and not a 2FA one:

Go to Wallet -> Seed.

I cannot access this way as you mentioned. I think I have 2FA wallet. I can see this seed but can't  click on it.

Re: Best Exchange for trading?

Personally I was using Bittrex. But I read and heard that it started to lock/freeze accounts with no reason? Don't know if it is correct and what is the reason behind it, but now I am concerned about this exchange. Luckily, I managed to withdraw my coins with no issues, but some people are struggling with it. I also heard that Kraken has problems with verification. So guys, which exchange do you use?? I see that every exchange has its good and bad, but now when loads of people are trading it is hard to decide which one to use as all of them have some issues..

Explain the bubble

Hi guys,

So I was wondering about this huge boom of bitcoin price. I know that Bitcoin was created with a purpose as a individual financial mechanism which would allow people to trade anonymously with no 3rd parties involved. But what we see today? I only see it as investment instrument which is not used as its primary function, except dark markets. Also knowing the fast growing Bitcoin price now, it is not worth to purchase anything, as  the value of bitcoin might be much higher tomorrow than yesterday's.

So, do you think Bitcoin is used as it primary purpose often enough? Or when will people understand that if Bitcoin is not used as it should be, then we are investing into nothing? Please tell me if I am wrong
