Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC?

im join bitmixer signature campaign, and i get the salary in bitcoin, so for me receiveing bitcoin as salary is not something new, it's very simple, and i will accept it.

that is not called a salary it is more like a pocket money to pay for small thing online with bitcoin that you are earning.
salary is something you get for the job that you do and it pays your expenses (all of them) in your life so it needs to be the largest amount of money that you earn through any job that you are doing not just a small amount of money that you gain from a secondary hobby-job Cheesy

Salary is when you work for 1 month with primary job and be paid by BTC or ETH or crypto in general, not in FIAT.

When bitcoin was 1k usd, how people could receive salary by btc?
1k usd at that time was 1 btc
Now they lost 50% of theyr income if they were paid by btc at that time without spent or use them.
Btc need price stabilization in long term.

if there's an opportunity, why not? Because this is the example for the improvement and how great the bitcoin help the country. But it will take a long time for that. Maybe soon, if the bitcoin is stable.
i have heard this is already a reality with https://www.bitwage.com/ haven't tired them but i think few companies are already paying their remote employ via this in bitcoin.
I think it is no wonder that companies or sites related to bitcoin give salaries to their employees using bitcoin. because they do business with bitcoin, I would be amazed if their company is not related to bitcoin but they pay their employees using bitcoin

Exactly and  we can expect that only IT companies will prefer to pay their employees in bitcoins but we cannot expect that all companies will follow the same procedure.
Not really because if businesses will be fully educated on bitcoin they will surely use this as a payment method because it can give benefits to them to make the work faster, and if they have more employees in different part of the world it could be helpful to them.

I think so too. If bitcoin becomes a bit stable, the first one to adopt bitcoin as payment for salary would be international companies outsourcing their work. They can save a lot if they pay their employees in bitcoin. Others will follow as well. But that can only happen if bitcoin becomes a little bit more stable.

I don't think that bitcoins will ever become stable in future and price volatility will always be a part of bitcoin ecosystem and it will long time for companies to start paying their employees in bitcoins.

That's the truth, Bitcoin can disapear in the future, but for now it's not a bad idea get your salary in Bitcoin since you have a lot of options to invest with the coin and you will pay less taxes and you can be your own bank.

Good poin of view. Tech is moving fast with crypto, we don't know what will happen to bitcoin in future. Sure, bitcoin code need to be adjust and developed more. It's really old. Like change block size.

Tech is moving fast, we doesn't know if bitcoin will survive as main crypto let's say within next 10-15 years. there are a lot of alt already with better code and development and more have to come. We need to wait some more years....

Well but if this is going to be applied to my salary I won't agree to that easily because there are still few stores that are accepting bitcoins especially in local places. And besides that is going to be a risky thing, for me it is still better if you are going to treat bitcoin as investments but don't let your salary to be converted to bitcoin already.

Yeah can't afford to accept salary in bitcoins at a moment, price is not stable and to spend them every time we need to convert them to fiat currency for making purchases.

True. Agree 100%

If bitcoin survives for next 15 years then I think we would have made enough money from it but still its not affordable to accept salary in bitcoin only for the fact is price is not stable.

Agree. Only when price will stabilize in long term. Doesn't matter if 1 usd -100 usd or 10k usd.

Bitcoin is secure, not price. Nobody could predict if tomorrow price will drop to 1 us ot 10k.
Algo is secure.

Modding BIOS gives more spins. Don't use it to much. GPU life will be lower. At least for older 280x-290.
But 380 are much more efficient.

Re: Decentralized, but very slow adoption OR centralized, but mass adoption happened

It's your bizarrely worded descriptions that led me to believe that it's an independent fork. Maybe if you weren't using massively exaggerated rhetoric to report it, there would be no confusion.

It's pretty obvious that whatever the Core team have discussed in relation to increasing the base size is not happening any time soon. You're trying to create a false equivalency: doubling the base block size in 2018 is not the same as doing it 2015, as you foolishly advocated. Give it up, you're more interested in me and what I think than you are in progress in Bitcoin, it seems.

I completly agree with your words.
