by

Like the title says, we need some help upgrading an existing scrypt coin to a newer algorithm - maybe  X15, X17, Neoscrypt or Lyra2.  Please provide us your cost to do this, your cost to do this and verifiable work you have done in the recent past.

Is the windows wallet download broken on their website? I keep getting errors when I try to extract it.

I  have an odd problem out of the blue with my Windows wallet.  It was working fine for weeks, when for no reason, my Kaspersky Anti-Virus deleted it as malicious when I tried to open the wallet.  This, after I have been opening it daily for weeks with no problem.  So I downloaded a new version 3 times and every time it deleted it.  I have 4 other wallets on this laptop and do not see that problem with any of them.  It is whitelisted in Windows firewall, so that is not the problem - just the antivirus deletes it with no warning which is very odd.  The anti-virus program does not give me an option to white list it.  Has anyone else seen this problem with the GUN or any other wallets before and know how to get around it???

Just to clarify - this was not a complaint - just trying to figure out what changed and why.  I can totally turn off my antivirus and open the wallet just fine.  Then when I turn the AV on again, it kills the guncoin-qt file again every time.....

This is actually a pretty nifty idea. Nice service.

Thanks so much for the nice words - we thought it to be very useful for the community as well.  So far, we have very positive feedback and a few in work.  Hopefully, they will post them here so you can see.

FYI, we have one that will be released early next week and updates for one of the others posted above.

Hello

I think your charges are too expensive.

I am willing to do this for my coin if you offer a new user discount.

Thanks

Duke

While we appreciate your opinion - our prices will remain unchanged - 0.3BTC per coin users guide per terms listed above.  The first two coins above had no problem with it and the next one in work now had no problem with it either - Will post it here when completed in a few days.

[OFFER] Coin User Guides - Add Credibility to Your Coin
by
DPAssociates

Overview:
Looking for a way to add more credibility to your coin - to differentiate your coin above many others?  We can provide a Users Manual customized for your coin for only 0.3 BTC (split in two payments).  We have done several already and are encouraging those owners to post a link to their users guide in this thread as proof and a way to promote their own coins. What does a users guide for your coin tell the crypto currency world about your coin???
1) You are a real coin looking for end users and willing to educate and train them on how to use your coins.
2) You spent real money on something other than getting on an exchange and pumping your coin.
3) You are focusing on the long term for your coin

How many times have you talked to a store or website owner about your coin or about crypto currency in general and received a blank stare only to find out that they have no idea what you are talking about???  Well, this users guide is something you can give them as a marketing and education piece to get them over that hurdle.  We have done these before and have others lining up.  We cannot do one for everyone - We can only help those whose coin has some direction to it that we can see and one that is willing to pay our fee to get a great guide to help your coin expand its market.

Our Requirements:

Payment: You pay us 0.15 BTC to start the project and 0.15 BTC when the first draft (review copy) is provided to you. This is non-negotiable - we start once your funds are clear and you are next on the list of those we are working.

Graphics: You supply us all the coin graphics of your coin that you can - preferably in JPG or PNG format.  We will supply you an email address to send them to.  You would also need to provide us screenshots of your wallets (different screens like our samples) for us to use - While we will crop and resize your artwork to make it fit better, we will NOT create any original graphics for you and will NOT be downloading your wallets.

Content:  While we have a typical template that we work from, much of he content will need to come from you, such as these:
   1) Your coin specifications.
   2) General description of your coin and its direction or focus
   3) What makes your coin unique or better (if you cannot answer this one - you do not need a users manual)
   4) Your important links to forum threads, websites, etc.

Email: we will give you our email address and you need to send the graphics and content to us at that address - not try and transfer it through a forum posting or PM.  Additionally, that email address is where it will be sent when complete.

Updates:  We recognize that things change and your users guide may need some updates from time to time.  We will provide updates as required in the future AFTER the initial release of your document for 0.05 - 0.15 BTC, depending on the level of effort to make the changes.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1) Can we pay you in something besides BTC, like our own coin as a bounty?
Sorry, NO - while you may have a great coin and many do - we have no desire to own thousands of hundreds of different coins - BTC only please.

2) Can we pay you after we see the finished book?
Sorry, NO - we can provide samples of completed coin users guides - yours will look somethig like that.  In addition, to paying for the book, you are paying for out time which has value.  You pay us 0.15 BTC to start - Then pay us 0.15 BTC when you see the draft to finish up.  If you do not like the draft and want to drop it - that is fine - we are done.  Keep in mind, the draft will have a time limit to it and not be a releasable document.

3) Why do we have to supply all the graphics and content - why can't you do that for us?
We absolutely can do all that for you - for significant additional cost - NOT included within the scope of this advertisement.

4) You are just a Newbie here, how do we know you can do the work?
We are not new to crypto.  First, check out the completed user guides.  Second, ask the other coin owners.  Someone with no knowledge of the crypto market could never have made those guides.

5) How long will it take you to do our guide?
It depends on our backlog once you pay us.  Typically, it takes us about 48-72 hours once we start.  We do not start till we see the first 0.15 BTC.  From there, it is whoever is next in line.

6) How do we protect our manual from copy cats wanting to steal our work?
First of all, it is our work and your content.  Each document is created in WORD, translated to PDF, then JPEG, then back to PDF.  This means that no one can go in and grab blocks of text to copy or any of the artwork.  Additionally, there will be a watermark with you unique coin info on every page as well as in the headers of each page.

After a significant amount of time, money and energy, the long-awaited initial version of the Imperial Coin (IPC) Users Manual is available now for download on our main website (ImperialCoin.org).  With the release of this document and future revisions and other documents, the ImperialCoin Team has proven their long-term commitment to IPC.  While actively pursuing new businesses who may have an interest in IPC as a potential payment system, with the this guide, the IPC team has shown that they are also very focused on acquiring and educating new crypto currency users as well as business-owners. While Imperial Coin (IPC) is not the first crypto currency to provide any type of Users Guide to new and current users, it is one of a select few who have put forth the effort.  Please use the link below to download the PDF version of the IPC Users Guide.

http://www.ImperialCoin.org/users-guide

This is the English version - other versions may be created based on demand by our users. Thank you for your support of ImperialCoin (IPC).

Very good - we were happy to help you get this done!

We are pleased to report the release of our new GXG Users Guide.  We think this is a big step forward toward linking potential end-users, who may never have seen or heard of crypto currency with Groin Coin (GXG) and the crypto currency community.  Additionally, with the time, energy and money needed to get this done should make it clear that Groin Coin is here to stay and will be around for a long time.  The GXG Team appreciates your support!

Turned out great - happy to help!
