AK doesn't seem to be doing as well as before.  All the dice sites are talking about him.

It is embarrassing and unprofessional to claim your project has a 99% chance of success.  Anyone who has every done anything knows that things end up a lot more difficult than they first appear so making a claim like that looks scammy at worst and stupid at best.

I think its good that people like Stunna can call a scam a scam and warn users.  Everyone on this forum is too trusting and loves to deposit/invest money in any site that pops up with a nice design.  No one looks into the provably fair systems or if the people who make claims are actually telling the truth.

What Stunna and Dooglus do IMPROVE the community.

The PrimeDice/Just-Dice system seems to be the best implementation that has been done so far.  Also an honorable mention for SatoshiDice's original version which was excellent too.

I really like these designs and the color scheme would serve bitcoin better in the long run.  The "Ubuntu Orange" as I call it is simply uglier than the cool and modern blue.

The number you get for each roll is mashing up the server seed, and client seed with the nonce at the end, to get a number.  I believe they have a verification page in their FAQ that explains this.  But when you make the rolls, you do not know your server seed.  After changing your client seed, you can see your past server seed and client seed with the nonce of the bet, and mash it together for each rolls and see that they add up to the number you were given.


The website can see future rolls because they have the server seed and your client seed.  They cannot change them however because those are locked in and the same until YOU change them.  They could for instance see that you were about to win 10 times in a row but there is nothing they could do about it.

Because you don't know your server seed until after you choose to change it, you cannot do the calculations beforehand and see your rolls.

The way provably fair works is that setting your client seed is what determines every bet you will make with that seed, because each roll is server seed + client seed + nonce (the nonce is adding a sequential numbers to the end).  Adding a number to the client seed makes the roll change randomly.  From when you first set your client seed, the server can determine what your next 1 billion rolls would be if they wanted to.  They cannot however, change or manipulate these rolls.

If you feel you are unlucky, changing the client seed will change the outcome of your future rolls, so some people choose to do that because it makes them feel better, but statistically it provides no advantage.  It just gives you a different set of future rolls.

Of course though.  The house has an edge of .9% or whatever it is.  The only game they offer where you won't lose in the long run in PVP with no edge, so there is an equal expected value of you earning or losing coins.

Have you found a flaw in the provably fair system or are you trying defame sites because you are sad you lost?  The site is provably fair and I can't believe people who play on these sites still don't understand what that means.

Does anyone envision a regulatory body making a list of "verified" bitcoin addresses in an attempt to keep people from sending coins to scammers?  (Not suggesting I would support such a thing, just wondering)

I'll acknowledge that the domain argument is not very powerful, however it is clear that my concern is not unwarranted.  It is very improbable for a casino to receive 1.2M bitcoins wagered and still tread far below their expected profit.

As an investor of Just-Dice who is now down a very considerable amount of coins (Now fully divested however), I'd like to open up this thread in dedication to bringing Doog, Just-Dice, and Letsdice to justice.

Dooglus has access to the non hashed server seeds, meaning he knows what the rolls are going to be ahead of time. Due to this he is able to bet on his alias Celeste/nakowa/allover & win excessive amounts of Bitcoin. With the name AllOver I almost feel like I'm being mocked at this point.

This EXTREMELY ODD evidence is what triggered this investigation and my realization that I was scammed for well over 50 BTC on my investment.
 
Just-Dice & Towtoad were registered a week between each other. Meaning Celeste/Nakowa had already planned on releasing a dice site BEFORE he won the excessive money from JD? It sounds like planning ahead to me... planning ahead a ponzi

It's fairly obvious that Doog is a smart person. In order to cover his tracks and make his scheme look more legitimate, he opened a competitor site to give the illusion it isn't him. When first confronting Doog, his reply was "But didn't Celeste go make a rival site" (Or something along those lines). It's obvious this is his 'fall back' excuse which he's hoping will consolidate his ponzi. Shame he forgot to differentiate the domains...

Towtoad was a complete copy of Just-Dice, there were slight design changes & a few extra features which Doog was probably planning on implementing on Just-Dice but decided against it for whatever reason. It wouldn't have taken more than a few hours to have it up & running.

I'm not worried but it does seem to put them at a disadvantage.  I would prefer more leaders from various countries.

The laws that affect us most are all surprisingly recent.  Wow.

You most likely have either a password problem or a computer security problem.  The common thing between the three services is you.

I think the idea is cool but one of the great things about bitcoin is that I don't need to declare any rights in order to use them.  Simply using bitcoin is a declaration of your right.

I do think declaring some basic rights would be good to prevent the over-regulation of cryptocurrencies but it would be hard to come up with something everyone would agree on.
