Re: [HAVELOCK] (HIF) Havelock Investments Fund

It looks like Havelock has stopped working completely.  You can login (although the process is incredibly slow), but attempting to do anything on the site, withdrawals, trades, anything gives a 502 Bad Gateway error. It's been this way for a couple weeks now, so it seems that it's not just a temporary issue and they may have either given up on maintenance or gone full scam.

unfortunately I'm not a support channel and can't deal with every query directly:)

Then it's probably time to get some support channel employees on here to deal with these issues.  You messaged me several weeks back that you'd get my order issue handled, then you stopped replying to everything.  This is the last I had from you:

If you're not seeing any current info it means it's in a warehouse waiting for a vessel to become available. If you want I can find out if the post office can pull it out and change the shipping to EMS (new waybills etc.) which will arrive in a week, or if you're cool with waiting then it'll arrive within the timeline on our delivery and returns policy page.

Multiple messages since then have gone unanswered.

I would like an answer now, please.

Minersource is issuing refunds.

Except where they said Batch 2 isn't eligible. And it appears several of us have contacted them for refunds and been given a flat "no".

batch 2 orders are not eligible for refund yet as they were technically not effected by the delay.

Most jurisdictions in the US provide a rather stringent set of consumer protection laws. Those are what decide whether customers are eligible for refunds, not you.

Being that MinerSource is located in Denver, Colorado, it took only a couple minutes of Googling to find all the state (and local) consumer protection agencies for Denver.  While one of them forcing a refund is (probably) a bit unlikely, it's still the kind of attention that many businesses just don't want to to have to deal with, and a headache all around.

Not to mention that people in other US jurisdictions that placed orders may have their own recourse options available.  I'm not saying that anyone can, should, or will ask for governmental or legal intervention, but a blanket statement that a large number of orders (that haven't shipped yet) aren't eligible for refunds is rarely a good way to conduct business.

VAX?  You young pups don't know how good you have it. Why, I remember using a PDP-11. Uphill both ways. 6 feet of snow in the middle of summer.

I dunno.. this looks like a legit company.

Their primary business is winning the lottery.
But since the value of lottery pools on any given day is limited.. and the value of bitcoins is pretty much unlimited.. It just seemed like a better idea to make hardware that mines bitcoins rather than win the lottery.

Companies that can win the lottery don't need to run ads on their site. Nor do they need to sell anything, considering they can always just go and win the lottery...

I sent you a pm.  Please reply when you get a chance.

I have sent too.
8 hours no reply.
I hope we are not scammed Wink

SSB has sent out literally thousands of these over a number of group buys.  I know that I've bought from several of them.  He's not a scammer.  Most likely just has a busy schedule and will reply as soon as he can.
