Only root (/) should actually be required for Ubuntu 16.04. It should work without a swap area, provided you have enough memory. I haven't tested the iso install for a dual boot setup as it uses a different grub2 variant that may cause some issues (not 100% sure if it will properly detect the Windows bootloader) - what may be best for you would be to follow the legacy instructions, which starts with a standard Ubuntu 16.04 install (should work fine alongside Windows 10) - then youll clone my git and run and install script to install everything. Full instructions are available in the README on github. Thanks for giving it a try!
Thanks, I've tried to install with Legacy, it works but when I'm installing with your script, after installing CUDA screen goes black and ... don't know what happens. Is it expected?

I'll try dual boot on same SSD as Windows 10.
I guess I need to create / , /home and swap ?

Was installing from one USB key with ISO to another USB Key

I've tried adding more virtual memory (like 20 GB) and same issue. Btw, I've checked and while mining, system is using less than 3 GB of RAM, and I've 8 GB installed.

I've tried unplugging a 7th card, but not the one in M.2 slot. And it's stable!
So this means the M.2 slot is perfectly fine and it's probably a bios or windows issue with 7+ GPUs
I guess I'll have to try Ubuntu ...

Hi,
I've a Z270-P with Windows 10 GPU : Asus GTX 1070 Strix Bios : 0810 (same issue with 0808)
6 GPUs are fine and super stable
As soon as I plug a 7th GPU on a M.2 adapter. Everything is fine (I can see 7 GPU) but it crashes and reboots after roughly 30 to 60 minutes of mining.
Any ideas? I've tryed 3 M.2 adapters and 2 risers: same result.
