Now that I can see that other users are starting to get 5 % codes, I obviously need to do more here, helping other users and reporting bugs to GM obviously isn't good enough yet.

how much is the energy/ hosting cost per GH and per MH at the moment?

If you see a few posts up I mentioned that they have fees in their new contracts now.
So they are probably the info you require.
It was basically a daily fee taken from your mined coins each day of 0.08 USD per MH/s for scrypt and 0.01 per 5 GH/s for SHA256.
Contracts before the change had no additional daily fees, but were limited mostly to 1 year, but the last few weeks they did start to include contracts of half yearly intervals from 1 year upto 3 years.

I can't remember GM saying anywhere that they are changing to lifetime, though I wouldn't hold a grudge if they did

I don't think Paypal will happen soon, too many people would scam GM, by purchasing and then a week later, getting Paypal to refund them and Paypal does tend to like to side with the buyer most of the time.
Yes, received a mesage through yahoomail from GM that Paypal will not be possible.
Genesis looks interesting but buying into a 1-year contract is a turn off. I'd rather pay $30 and have 10Ghs and the ability to have whatever is mined from them until I decide to resell them to someone else. I cant get behind a contract that loses you money if you do simple math.

Although as they are yearly contracts, it might be hard for you to sell something that has only 8 or 9 months on it.
