Re: Trading Teaches Me New Patience And Experience!

Trading is one aspect of crypto I have tried so hard to learn. Thanks to a friend who now guides and teaches me some of the trading terms like support and resistance. Definitely, trading requires so much patience and the heart to bear losses as well cos its not always all about gain.

Re: Can I buy tokens with credit card?
by
Dannev
on 16/08/2019, 15:47:17 UTC
Yes you can buy coins/tokens with credit cards. Many exchanges are now offering buying service via credit card payment. I am using VELIC exchange and they have enabled it to purchase the tokens on that exchange.
Cons with credit card service is that its high  fees and you can not withdraw/sell using credit card option.

I never knew Velic now has that option. The only platform I have known to offer such services is the Luno platform but am not sure if its available in most countries. If exchanges can adopt this and make it very safe for purchase it will be much more better for traders and investors.

Re: My greatest crypto regret
by

The only regrets I have had in crypto is buying into low cap projects back then in 2017. All of those projects are no where today and I have to live with the loss. We'll, the beauty in that is learning from such experience and moving on.

Re: IEOs are more safe. But there are still problems that must be solved.

Somehow I do not agree with the number 4 reason you stated. A good exchange will not just neglect the project it lists cos it has gained profit. That is why it is necessary always to participate in IEOs conducted by a reputable exchange and not just any random exchange.

Re: Illegal activities is giving cryptocurrencies a bad image

you should understand that in the real banking sector there are money thefts and hacker attacks are ten times higher. much more money is lost there than in the cryptocurrency market

There's no market that is not vulnerable to hackers attacks and stuff. Corruption is everywhere and cryptocurrency world is not left out. That's is not to say that crime and illegalities dwell more in the crypto space.

Re: Bounty hunters killed ICO?
by
Dannev

I do not like seeing when bounty hunters are accused of any ICO project or any project doing badly. I have noticed some tactics some team and developers of projects in bounty use to dump their own tokens and coins and them blame it on the bounty hunters.

I don't agree with this if you are asking or suggesting bounty hunters killed ICO. My question is this, why will a project embark on a bounty campaign when there's no resources or funds to pay the hunters that worked? It's also their time and efforts invested in that project. There's no blaming hunters cos they only received payment for their labour.

Re: ICO increasing rapidly
by

I do not know about the new features ICO provides but one thing is sure, ICOs will be difficult to phase out. Not all good projects have the finances to run an IEO and as such needs to go through ICO to achieve their aim. For increase in the rate of ICOs, I do not see that yet but am sure more ICO projects will emerge.

Re: Stable Coins Necessary?
by
Dannev
on 14/08/2019, 12:42:12 UTC
It is very necessary to have stable coins if only they can maintain that name stable in the real sense of it. The problem is not up and coming with stable coins but the ability to really deliver on the use case of the project. There are so many so called stable coins in the market that the prices or workability of their products is nothing to write home about.

I don't see IEO as a threat to bounty hunters because some projects in IEO still employ the services of hunters.

The only remedy is adoption. Without adoption, it will just be a round and round stuff. There won't be much development seen in crypto as supposed.

I think the main services that will be suppressed by blockchain adoption is tye banking services. That's why banks frown at blockchain and its activities.

Re: Recently I see one of the best crypto site thecoinrepublic.com
by
Dannev
on 18/04/2019, 17:46:42 UTC
for me tradingview is still the best. there are many people who provide analysis and predictions for all crypto coins. and what I like there, we can discuss the analysis. I can also make an analysis there, there are many choices of indicators that I can use. this is a very complete website that I have ever met.

Please am curious, is there also a site where one can get to know if the tokens he/she has is trading anywhere in the exchanges? Just like check CMC, most coins I have are not on CMC.

Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD
by
Dannev
on 18/04/2019, 17:37:24 UTC
Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.

What are your thoughts?

I won't advise anyone to hold now. Am not holding, holding has dealt me a blow. Any profit I see, I sell off. I think that's being smart.

Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters.

From the very start ask your bounty manager if the rules are already firm and final.

But the sad thing is before you are going to ask them, you'll see one rule that allowed them to change any rule as they wish.

No need to even ask because they will be very polite to you at first and during bounty but when bounty ends is when you know the true nature of those behind the bounty management.

Re: Recent Pumps and Dumps
by
Dannev
on 12/04/2019, 12:47:49 UTC
All these groups on the pumps and dumps are nonsense. From my own experience, I was convinced that it was not worth spending time on them. Nothing good will come of it.

All those groups are just making mere guesses. When there's pump or improvement in the market, you see them coming out to give trade calls. I just laugh and pity those falling for them.

Normal for me, in every market or currency always have something group to try Pump then after they see the good amount of wall try to dump it to cash out. I gonna to say dont go for the fomo went the price already UP.

That fomo is what most people go for especially the newbies. How I wish to turn back d hands of time, I wouldn't have done most of the things I did as a newbie.
