Re: NEO - The Ethereum of China (Invest before you regret)

I think getting some regulation in the space will be good. Right now, regulation is everyone's worst fear. Once the space has regulation and we see that crypto is still thriving, it will give the market a lot of confidence.

Congratulations! Fact of the matter, virtually everyone who invested in the Antshares ICO will likely be a millionaire in a couple years.

I really wish I had seen this in 2013. I probably would have invested much earlier!!

The payments industry is huge and OMG is the leader so far for the crypto space. If we can imagine a world where crypto currency is as popular as fiat currency, then there is huge potential for OMG or a similar competitor. MasterCard is worth $123 billion. I'm not saying I think OMG will reach that level, but it demonstrates that the roof for the payments space is staggeringly high.

I often fantasize about our future without central banking. I wonder about the implications though. Although many governments don't use the money properly, I do believe in central government and some level of socialist ideas.

I wonder if having central governments will be possible in a world where Bitcoin is the norm.

I'm just curious to see where NEO is going to go from here. It has definitely had a dip, but not a drastic one.

Re: Estonia Could Release a National Crypto
by
Danny Zen
on 28/08/2017, 16:47:24 UTC
I'm not especially enthusiast about it !

- That's true that it could be easy for estonian citizens to use their FIAT money in a crypto way with payment app
- That's true it  will be easier for banks to store and audit transactions

BUT this will absolutely not be decentralised. We priorly need  privacy and decentralization not an easy payment system

What is your opinion ?

I know exactly what you mean. I'm ambivalent on it. I would say if any country is going to release a crypto without fucking everything up, it would probably be Estonia Smiley

Civic is one of my favorite coins. It has an immediate use case, as we've seen from the ICOs (I know there was at least one, but I'm foggy on the details now) that have used Civic for identity verification already. As the crypto space grows into mainstream society, it's use cases will expand, giving it tremendous long term potential as well.

I think Siacoin is a great coin, but I don't think it's going to last. I think Filecoin is going to win the battle for the decentralized storage market.

This guy is a sad bag holder. He is posting Footy Shit all the time.
Doesn't matter, anyone can post whatever he wants, one of those posts got me into FOOT and I am very happy for it.
For argument's sake, that guy's name was daniel244king.

Well I'm no king for sure, so that can't be me. Just your average plebeian Smiley

Glad you're doing well, brother

Haha, I think you're thinking of someone else. I only started posting on Bitcointalk a few days ago and this is my first post about Footy Cash. I can totally understand why you would be sick of spammers though as they can really get annoying. So I'll be totally transparent about my position in an effort to put everyone at ease.

I got in at $0.13 and it's sitting around $0.16. So I'm sitting on a slight profit, but I'm just hanging on in hopes I can make a quick couple grand to reinvest in other projects.

I don't encourage or discourage anyone from putting money in this project. It is certainly a risky investment, which is why I only have a bit of extra cash in it. Nothing serious.

I posted this only because it might be useful if some is looking to put $100 onto a coin with potential for a quick big run. And also I've always wanted to call a huge run before it happens just because it would feel cool.

And if it doesn't, oh well. No harm done.

So that's about as honest as I can be. Whatever happens with this coin, I wish you only the best and hope your investments do well for you. If you have the foresight to invest in cryptocurrencies this early on, you deserve all the wealth that comes to you.

Much love everybody,
Danny Zen

Footy Cash: The Next 50x Run
by
Danny Zen
on 10/08/2017, 19:30:51 UTC
I just wanted to privy you guys to my lottery pick.

I think Footy Cash is going to make a gigantic run at some point. It is at $0.16 with only 4 million total coins. It has been steady there for quite a while now. Not much action because it is in the middle of transferring from Cryptopia to Coin Exchange.

A close competitor NLC2 recently made a huge run up to a 55 million dollar market cap, which I think demonstrates some potential for Footy Cash as well.

It only needs to hit a $4 million marketcap to get to a dollar. I'd say $10 is the outer limit for this coin.
It caught my attention because it steadily rose throughout July when everything else was bombing. It briefly soared to $0.36 before dropping back down to $0.12, and now it's steady at $0.16 for a while, which indicates it's not likely going to drop lower.

I don't know if this is not a long term coin for me, as I like to invest in protocols rather than niche coins. However, it could be an opportunity to make a quick 10x-80x return.

CIVIC: Do We Need This Token?
by
Danny Zen
on 08/08/2017, 16:52:17 UTC
In this interview, Vinny Lingham of Civic got pushed into a lot of corners by the panel. John Carvalho asked the question, why do we need this token? Why can't people simply use Bitcoin for this service? Isn't it purely greedy to be selling a token that will appreciate in value purely because of scarcity and speculation when we could just be using Bitcoin?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7x5qF7vI-Sc&feature=youtu.be

I think it's an interesting question and I've asked myself the same question. However, it seems to me that this would discount pretty much every coin out there besides Bitcoin and Ethereum, wouldn't it?

How do tokens actually benefit the users if the same value can be exchanged with existing currencies?

Is there any actual value to the Civic token, or any alt currency?

I don't know how I feel about this yet. What do you think?

STRATIS - Brainstorming Use Cases
by
Danny Zen
on 08/08/2017, 01:21:22 UTC
Stratis is one of the most fascinating coins out there to me. I'm not personally invested because it's a bit too expensive at $7.00, since I'm always aiming for 100x or ideally 1000x returns. That being said, I think this coin can have a big impact on the world.

I think it would be cool to brainstorm the possible future applications for Stratis.

What do you think would be some interesting uses of the Stratis network for businesses in the future? How could this impact the world?

The floor is yours Smiley
