I think if you want to get some stable altcoins then you should go for the site called coinmarketcap and you should get into coins that are at least in the top 5 because those coins are stable and have a great community that they can rely on the price so it will not go down hard.

For me, you should leave it as it is. If you keep your money in 1 ETH even though it's not a lot of money, ETH today shows a good result. This is a stable coin, hold it, wait for growth. Many peoples say that in few months it will reach 1000. If this really happens, you will get a good profit.

ETH has a long time life so I think you can choose ETH. NEO is just a young coin and can be a victim of crypto wars between countries so I would say NEO but it has a little bit risky future so independent one is ETH. Hopefully I think both coins are okay for invest that can bring about profit.
