Re: And yet another mistreatment

Wonders shall never end  Embarrassed I missed Poolz because they introduced limited participants, they only allow 50 participants for signature campaign and also they allow only full member accounts and other high rank accounts, if not I would have joined, the pool is just 25000, I don't quit understand why they don't want to pay, this is completely scam project

It is possible that the current price of Poolz is artificially inflated probably by the developer.  they are "afraid" to pay bounty participants because they worry about the dump and possible loses of fund in their end (if they are the one inflating the token price).

Anyway there is an announcement made on the Poolz bounty thread:

Distribution Details: Token will be distributed after 2 weeks of TGE.
This Campaign will be managed by Fatemablabla. To ask all the questions please join the Bounty group.

So I think participants can clarify about this issue.
If the price was artificially inflated how the heck did the token get listed on gate.io? Nothing can be tampered with on gate.io because they planned to keep good reputation, and again the volume is freaking too big, I don't think the team did anything to adjust it's value but not paying did raise eye brow

The telegram group is locked so no one can make any complains, it seems the bounty manager isn't capable to force the team to pay, I don't know how bubbalex used to do his thing cos no bounties from him failed to pay bounty hunters, fatemablabla must find her own way of tackling projects that don't want to pay

hello here I want to tell a bad experience about a project that held BOUNTY but they did not pay it, it continued to delay for a long time or there was no certainty

Here are some bounty campaigns below that are still being debated

|
Campaign
|
meneger
|
|Koinpro|Parodium
|
|PayAccept|Bitcoinmuseum
|
|ASLA|Trttn
|
|Markaccy|Markaccy oficial
|

If you find the same, tell me to add it to the list

maybe this is a Demo activity to ask for the right as they promised

note

please remove this board if it is inappropriate to publish
I'm thinking that gas fee may be the reason for the delay but also thinking that if this is the reason the team should be able to announce it on the bounty campaign thread, it's wrong to keep people in the dark, most especially not to those that are helping the project to gain max awareness

Staking or investing they carry same risk, the project you pick must be very good for you to make good ROI if you invest and also if you are staking make sure the project have good use because if it's not good enough you will be at loss when your staking cycle is over

Re: Can Avalanche surpass Ethereum?

Nothing is impossible in this world, Ethereum is better because of many few reasons but all those reasons can be shifted to another project, it feels like it's impossible only because there is no project that's as good as Ethereum yet

Re: Is it possible for a Billion max supply capped altcoin to reach $100?
by

on 25/01/2021, 13:05:32 UTC
I've not seen such before but I believe it's possible because the value  of a coin have nothing to do with total max supply, just imagine if Bitcoin has billion max supply are you saying it's impossible for Bitcoin to be trading more than 100$ today? Value comes from real demand

Re: XRP Price Dives After SEC Files Charges
by

on 24/01/2021, 11:57:10 UTC
News update.

It appears that because of the new SEC appointees of the incoming Biden administration, Ripple might be saved and allowed to settle their case hehehe. Relist and pump?

Marc P. Berger, who was named Deputy Director of the Division of Enforcement at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in August 2020, is leaving the agency before the end of the month, according to an SEC press release. He was appointed acting director of the division after Stephanie Avakian departed from the SEC in December.

Though Berger’s time in the top position was short, it bears at least one major highlight: the SEC’s $1.3 billion lawsuit against Ripple Labs, CEO Brad Garlinghouse, and Executive Chairman Chris Larsen.

The lawsuit, which was unveiled at the tail end of Avakian’s tenure, alleges Ripple did not register the sale of XRP, the third-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.

Correct, I like the way that XRP teams stand up for themselves and try to fix the whole thing, the CEO most especially, that was when I noticed that XRP is going to escape the death trap, I'm just glad I'm still holding unto my XRP, if they eventually follow their aims XRP will moon big time

It's a shame to see so many people buying Ethereum for 1300$ this year, its crazy you know, where are you guys when Ethereum was 150$ in 2020? Oh, you probably still doubting about what if, isn't it? Where were you when bitcoin was 3600$ Huh Some people have already make 30x from different altcoins that you are now looking for because they understand how crypto works, buy low and sell high, that's the rules of the real crypto hunters. Now I'm just fearful because others are been greedy.
I get you, I believe many people are still feeling hesitant about crypto because of lack of regulations, if regulations do comes someday you will see millions of people adopting bitcoin more but I guess that's not going to happen anyway, regulations can't be forced on bitcoin cos of decentralization

One thing is certain I belief, the more crappy project we get the more our eye gets more open, crypto technology will know where it's lacking and exactly what to fix, most especially security wise, mistakes gives birth to correction, crime gives birth to the law and justice

Everyone are trying to get rich and they believe crypto can give them that, it's why we even have many more developers in crypto space this days, beware though, not all of them are real blockchain experts, they are just here for the money

Not trying to hate here but this product is better in the offline world, such use case don't need to exists on the blockchain, there many projects that introduced something like you have here and after raising some funds they just disappear or dumped their tokens, you don't need to create any tokens for this

Re: do you do mining or staking?
by
Dariusburst
on 22/01/2021, 14:50:01 UTC
The problem with proof of stake coins is maintaining a good value for a long time, many POS coins have lost so much value with short time of their existence, imagine buying 1000 pieces of a coin for 1000$ to stake for 6 months and 12 months and before that cycle runs out the token or coin is already trading at 0.5$ aren't you still in loss even when you get your POS reward??

There is no need to make decisions on something that's not been finalized or launched yet, I don't believe gpu miners can lose out even if Ethereum POW algorithm stop and go to POS.

1. There will always be a new coin that will be more profitable to mine as the mining hashrate from Ethereum will be moved to other coin

2. Even if the worst happens miners who can't mine other coins can still sell their gpu on online stores to gamers and graphic designers, you can't lose out completely

If the team can handle the project very well it will leave a good foot path for many upcoming projects in crypto space, many new projects have good concepts but are ruined by how the team handled everything, apart from good use case only projects teams can make a project to be successful

Nothing can replace IEO because it's still the only crowdfunding that's well monitored because they are Introduced by top crypto exchanges who don't want to ruin their business or reputation because they have something to lose

And the p104 cards are quite old.  This is between 1070 / 1080 cards.   So not a great thing considering what a 3060ti or 570xt cost about the same and deliver more hash as lower power.
You are wrong, that Nvidia RTX3060Ti has higher hashrate than a AMD 5700XT, on Minerstat calculator a RTX3060ti can output 60MH per second with power draw of 120watt and a RX5700XT only output 54MH per second with power draw of 91 to 100 watt, the only difference here is the RTX3060Ti is more costly

Re: Antminers E3 still alive for ETH?
by
Dariusburst
on 20/01/2021, 13:06:52 UTC
Not really
ETC DAG is also over 4GB and pools not accepting the E3s
I cant mine ETC on https://etc.ethermine.org/ as example. All the ASICs are marked with X
The only way forward with a antminer E3 is to find a new coin or not too old coin that runs on Ethash Algorithm to mine, they should have less mining difficulty and enough room for 4gb miners like E3, go to Google and find answers am sure there are many coins running on Ethash Algorithm

Re: best place for selling graphics card
by
Dariusburst
on 20/01/2021, 13:04:03 UTC
Planning to sell few cards. Which places are recommended beside eBay? All are currently mining ETH. Radeon VII and 580 8GB
If you don't mind me asking, which country are you from and how much are you willing to sell those gpus? If ebay isn't good enough for you there are tons of online stores you can sell those graphic cards, we have Amazon, aliexpress, newegg, best buy etc
I am from US. Sold one 580 8GB for 295. Had it listed on eBay for bid starting 225 and buy now price of 295. It was gone in half hour. Noticed that eBay took $31 and $10 was charged by PayPal. So I would get  $254. Still a good price for selling a used 580.
It seems you are ok with how much you sold the 580? Then why looking for other means of selling your graphic card ? Now that you know how much ebay is charging you can add few dollars more to the rest of the gpu that you still want to sell, moreover 254$ for a RX580 isn't bad at all like you said, is that a 8gb version or 4gb?

Re: do we really need stable coin?
by

on 19/01/2021, 18:42:04 UTC
You will know how important stable coins are if you are new to crypto trading, I don't used stable coins and I don't have any reason to until I started trading on top exchanges like binance exchange, stable coins works very well just like having FIAT, the answer to your question is YES we need stable coins in crypto space because they are damn useful
