Bitcoin is best at 1k

Investors won't agree but i feel as if the average user would.

Back when bitcoin was 1k it was so much better than how it is now. Massive fees, bottlenecking, etc. too many people riding.

You dont get it do you? You need collateral. Read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0 and either provide valid collateral or lock this thread. On top of that, the fees cost more than the loan.

I get it but a non-collateral loan isn't unheard of so it's worth a shot trying here. I don't know much about the fee situation as I haven't done any Bitcoin transactions within a couple of months. Only reason I needed the loan was because of how much of an effort is required to change a couple of dollars into bitcoin.

Shame how the higher the price goes the lower the usability becomes. Anyway I won't lose sleep if I don't get this loan, it's just something I put up at the time,

---

Ended up spending my savings into BTC all at once. No longer need this.

My method might seem off to some. Not me. I don't buy from from Newegg or Amazon or Evga and say " hey ummm why dont you send me the video cards and ill pay ya later" No you pay the merchant | they ship,  It's been like this for decades. Cheap? cheap is $1 i don't consider several 100$'s USD cheap. If you are unconformable with my thread,prices--> cya. As far as grammar I didn't realize I was writing an essay for my professor.  Roll Eyes

I appreciate you looking, best of luck.

Hmm, not accepting escrow, suspiciously cheap items, poor grammar and lame excuses abound?

Seems legit.

You wouldn't give your money to some man in the street with a box saying it has 10 iPhone 8's, would you? Based on the fact that "buyer goes first"?

Oh boy, this is too great a Christmas gift.
I've been warning people for months.
All the worlds leading experts in the field have been warning everybody for months.

Biggest bubble in recorded history.
I don't even want to know how filthy rich a few have become with this and how millions have lost their savings! Hilarious!

LOL. A coin worth $20.000 that has 10 minutes confirmation time (so useless in physical shops), extreme volatitliy (which shops hate so they won't offer it), is more expensive than an international banking wire, more than fee $15 a transaction, has a maximum of 7 transaction per seconds WORLD WIDE .. And it's crashing now ? Gosh, didnt see that one coming Wink

Shorted that worthless piece of crap all the way down from 18k, it's a nice day here Smiley

Hence why I and I think a few others were hoping it would fall back down. In my opinion it was at its best at around $500 and until it's used worldwide, it'll still be perfect at that number. Low fees, easy to use, everything was better.

It's going down. Just saw it drop $1k in one refresh lmao. Some people are gonna wake up with a heart attack.

@ThatsABity just wait until the mass amount of newcomers start selling due to fear. That'll start a chain and guess what happens after that

At the current I want Bitcoin to fall back to $500-$1,000. At least we would have faster transactions, be able to actually send a couple dollars without having to pay double the amount in fees, etc. Plus the band wagoners would be long gone.

Those were the times :/

Re: How would you invest $30000 into Cryptocurrency?
by
DarkArmy
on 22/12/2017, 10:28:26 UTC
Don't split them up into a million things as being suggested. Unless you strike the jackpot, it'll set you back considering the fees and all that. Find one or two coins that you are feeling happy about, and do indeed research them well. Look at recent chart statistics, speculations, recent behaviours, etc. When you find two coins that are doing well, go to an official exchange and fully verify yourself to allow for maximum exchange rates and the best offer from them (least fees, higher limits, etc.)

In my opinion, now is a horrible time to invest in Bitcoin. I have a feeling it's going to be crashing real soon, and if it does, that's the golden opportunity to strike.

As for the actual investing the money, any major exchange could fulfil the orders.

Re: [Competition] WE NEED AD BANNERS! Reward: $100 in BTC
by

on 22/12/2017, 10:13:14 UTC
Your project seems interesting and the price just as much Wink. I'd like to reserve a spot for my banner design.

Just a few questions though:
     1) Does it have to be animated?
     2) Which details on your project would you like to be better highlighted?
     3) Are the funds to be escrowed?

Hello Ganthet,

The funds are not escrowed but we can assure that it will be delivered.

Otherwise, to answer your other two questions, no it does not have to be animated but if it is, that's great. We would like to have the 'daily staking with no withdrawal date limits' feature and the 'earn 10% lifetime commissions in ETH' part to be highlighted.

It doesn't have to be in these exact words. Some creativity in copywriting would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

Can you please escrow the funds beforehand? I don't want to put efforts into this without an assurance of getting paid if I win. I don't see any logic behind not funding an escrow for the contest.

Everything is a risk in life. If you don't trust him, don't do it. You wouldn't want to work with someone in a real job that you don't trust without someone else intervening would you? No. Use your logic. Why would someone NOT pay for this task and risk jeopardising their 'business'?

I'm honestly hoping it crashes back to $500. I find that it's best like that, in the mean time. When more people get into it, sure a higher price is good. But right now when majority of the holders are people who know nothing about it trying to flip a quick profit, it's irritating.

Re: How to convert bitcoin cash to USD?
by
DarkArmy
on 22/12/2017, 09:33:45 UTC
Technically it's "exchange".

To exchange BTC to USD is the same as selling an iPad for cash. In this case, you have multiple options. Peer-to-peer, official exchanges or the other dodgy websites up.

P2P means changing your BTC for cash in hand, gift cards, bank transfer (any method you can dream of) with other people (hence p2p) on a website such as paxful or localbitcoins. It's easy to get scammed so watch out for that. Changing on an official exchange such as bittrex could also be a possible option for you but it's considered harder in some cases (if you don't have ID on hand, time and a bit of patience) as it's very hard to exchange on these sites as a new member.

Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high
by
DarkArmy
on 22/12/2017, 09:27:41 UTC
Seems it took a 14% dump - and with that, it's going to provoke fear in the eye's of newcomers. People are going to start selling to minimise their losses and it will turn into a chain.

But it's high because people are willing to that much for it. That's how demand and supply works. If people didn't pay for them, 100 bitcoins would be considered null and void - just a bunch of data on your PC.

$14 loan
by
DarkArmy
on 16/12/2017, 12:03:14 UTC
Yo I'm in need of $2 real quick. I'll pay you back in a week once I get paid (should be less than a week but just giving a decent range of time.)

I can easily cover this myself but the stupid website I want to buy from only accepts BTC and it's a huge hassle buying $2 worth of bitcoin (I don't want to end up paying $20 AUD to get something worth $2.)

In return for the btc I can return $2.50-3.00 worth within the time range specified.

Cheers!

Need a $14 loan, I can return $18 within two weeks. Would buy it my self but like before, too much of a hassle to change AUD into BTC.

Cheers
