]Apparently Evan the dev bought the rights to dashcoin and its name, substantial amount of money too. Sounds like a lot of trouble to go through in order to use a certain name. Kind of strange.

Lets be honest the latest pump was because of otoh, and if he gets pissed about the name change and dumps his coins, we are fucked. I hoping he sticks to his word and puts a walll up.

I want to applaud Evan for having the courage to make the tough decisions. If Darkcoin ever wants to go mainstream, a name change is indeed needed. I for one absolutely love the new name!
