Here it is running with 5 GTX 1070Tis:

That's a Zotac 1070 TI Amp Extreme?

Can you please post a pic from above? I wanna see the space between the GPUS.
I wanna know if you can put 8 Amp Extremes in there.
The Amp Extreme covers up the next PCI slot.

RIP my Amp Extremes...
Thanks a lot for the pic! I really appreciate it.
Off topic: Do you use Windows, SMOS or HiveOS? I use HiveOS.
I'm wondering what's the best config for the AMP Extreme (Core, Mem and PL).

Made an unboxing if you guys are interested.

Sorry for the low production value. Never made a YouTube video before. 😁

Thanks a lot for the video! It was great!

Question: where did you buy those PCI-E splitters for the cards? And what brands do you recommend?

[Darknicks] Selling Antminer S9 13.5 TH/s
by
Darknicks
on 31/01/2018, 20:45:05 UTC
Hello there,

This is my first time selling here in BitcoinTalk forums. I've sold some miners on Craiglist and eBay before but I wanted to try here as well.
I understand if you don't want to buy from me since I'm new here but thanks for passing by!

I'm selling a brand new miner. I tested it to make sure it works. It has a 6 month warranty from Bitmain.
It's working perfectly. This listing doesn't include the PSU. I have it in hand and can ship right away. This is NOT a pre-order.

I accept cryptocurrencies as payment method. Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin.
I can ship it to your address with UPS or FedEx for free (US only).
If you don't live in the US I can still ship it to you with UPS or FedEx but you will have to pay the shipping costs.

The price is: $3,800 if you pay with Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin.

I'm an eBay seller so you can buy from eBay as well if you have good feedback.
You can confirm it's me by contacting me through eBay so you know I'm not a scammer. My eBay ID is: darknicks
You can contact me by clicking the "Contact" link in the upper right corner that you'll find here:
https://www.ebay.com/usr/darknicks

You can check some pics of the miner on my eBay listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/183047461600

Thanks for passing by! Cheesy

I missed that. Thanks!

Also, I have an APW3++ PSU. Can you put the PSU inside the box or nah?

Gonna use this rig with 8 Zotac 1070TI. Hopefully they'll fit.

We will have the 4U rack mount chassis in the shop soon. It will come with 7X high power delta fans, the fans are loud but have really high airflow and are very efficient at cooling. For testing purposes I switched them out for more quiet ones on the 8X 1060 GTX test rig, temps were around 55-63 before. Now with the quieter fans the temps are 65-72C.

I'm interested in buying the board + 8GB ram + the case/rack/chassis.
I already know they're Delta fans. But can you please tell me what kind of fans the actual chasiss will have? Maybe fan model?

Also, if you don't mind can you download a dBm meter app on your phone and tell me how loud this will be? And if you feel generous, maybe check the power consumption with a Kill A Watt or something and post it here?

Thanks!

Using ACs to cool your miners is extremely inefficient. Your profits will be reduced considerably. 65~75 temps are fine.

Yeah, dedicated circuit is not the issue. APW3 not able to provide anything more then 1200 W on 120 V is the issue. Thats why I am planning to use APW3 and another EVGA  750 W PSU to power a single A3

Actually, I'm doing fine with only 1 APW3++ with the Antminer A3 on 120V.
Right now is consuming 11.54 AMPS and 1337W.
No issues at all.

This coins difficulty is going up higher than the ETH difficulty even

Those who haven't received their ASIC yet must be really feeling it every 30 mins that the difficulty adjusts higher and higher.

It adjusts 0.40% every block. So it will take a while to adjust up to a fair difficulty.

Fun fact: Out of the 15,000+ A3's that Bitmain sold last week, only ~1,700 are currently mining.

any proof link to 15k A3 sold by Bitmain?

a lot of assumptions here on sold amount, but not a single has a trustable source...
No there is no proof. Just the usual rampant forum guess, conjecture and speculation. In all likelihood it's more like 5k between Asia and other countries. People looked at the total Bitmain wallet transfers and extrapolated that number failing to realize that Bitmain sells other products too.

Actually, there's proof. Just check my previous comment.

Proof? That's easy. The Bitcoin Cash address they used to receive the payments for the A3's.
Check it out here: https://bch.btc.com/1NrMNvxsDwsQ9DA4styegmTue9tPPsV9bg

The balance is ~19,126 BCH. Which is about 12~15k A3's sold

Don't use the Kill A Watt with 220~240V!! It's dangerous!
They were made for only 110~120V!

by

You A3 owners are lucky this time.  Buttmain didn't mine the hell out of A3 for months  before shipping the A3. They finally tossed you the bone to make up for D3 and to send a death threat to the Sia asic devs.  But dont' expect Buttmain to be as generous next time.

Actually, that's the new standard now. They're shipping within 10 days instead of 1~2 months like they used to. Check the last batch of the L3+ they posted. They shipped them within 10 days as well

then
http://fantom.tokyo/A3ASICDEAD.PNG
and
http://fantom.tokyo/A31DEAD.PNG

so I switched 18pin cable connection 1and2 and still board1 is dead(this time board1 is chain2)
http://fantom.tokyo/A3changeconnect.PNG

So please give me advise:-(

I think you just were mining during the soft fork test. Try rebooting your miner. It should be fixed by now

I'm using 3 power supplies to power a A3 using 120v power.  The miner takes almost 1500 watts using a watt meter.

What? No. I'm using 1 APW3++ using 120v. No issue at all. Consuming ~1,200 Watts
