Hello folks,

I had spare GTX1060 which I used to mine with on my gaming setup. It was connected to motherboard via riser and I mined on it for about 6-8 months. The I was travelling with my pc so I left it completelly unplugged for around 7-8 weeks in my flat. Now I wanted to start mining with it again and as it turns out, it does not work. Here is what happens.

- when connected via riser, at PC boot it spins it fans for about 3 seconds, then stop and is not being recognised at all by PC
- when connected directly to PCI Express x16 slot on mb, result is the same

Steps that I took to try to fix the problem :
- I tried every available pci x1 slot with riser
- I tried 2 different pci x16 slots, didn't try slot nr 1 because gtx 1080 sits in it.
- Reinstalled gpu drivers each time I tried to install the card, did clean installation
- tried different configurations of power cables from my PSU\
- BIOS is up to date

GPU did work on this exact PC before. PC specs:

i7 7700k
Gigabyte Z270 Gaming7
16GB Coirsair Vengeance 3200 MHz
GTX1080 as main GPU
PSU         Corsair AX 650i
Original windows 10 pro, up to date

not working GTX1060 comes from K2FA, 6GB model

So, few days ago I noticed I can't get on bitmain website, neither their shop or even their pool. Luckily I mine somewhere else, but it seems strange to me. I cleared cookiese, used two different vpn's, used different browserse and even different computer at work and home. Did I miss out on change of their website or what the heck? All I get from browser is " website not found"

do niedawna używałem Bitbay do drobnych transakcji i mozolnego ciułania zysków (bardziej jako hobby, żadnych botów itp). Po całej tej akcj z KAS tymczasowo wyciągnąłem środki z giełdy do portfeli i czekam na rozwój sytuacji. Czy ktoś wie kiedy Bitbay oficjalnie znajdzie się pod jurysdykcją malty? Powinienem skasować i założyć na nowo konto jeśli będę chciał tam znów dokonywać transakcji? Czy lepiej poszukać jakiejś innej giełdy?

Sęk w tym że obecnie mieszkam na stałe i pracuję za granicą, z Bitbayem łączyłem się zawsze z zagranicy , używając VPN (nie polskie IP), ale konto bankowe posiadam w Millenium (pracodawca nie wymaga lokalnego konta). Na dobrą sprawę nie wiem nawet czy mam powód do zmartwień, skoro jestem zameldowany w innym kraju, w takim razie PCC chyba nie powinno mnie dotyczyć w tym wypadku? Czy ktoś jest w podobnej sytuacji i mógłby się podzielić wiedzą?

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you need 1 PCI express line per  GPU (hence only PCI-e X1 being used for mining) so you also have to look for CPU with correct amount of lines?  So for example Intel Celeron G3930 would  be a no go.

Problem solved. Initially I tried to reset it like in manual, power up, press reset for 10 seconds, wait 5 minutes. That didn't work for me twice so what I did was

- power up
- wait 10 minutes
- press reset button for 15 seconds
- wait another 5-10 minutes
- Works afterwards.

Don't know, maybe earlier I pressed it for too short, or pressed reset incorrectly, but all in all after 3rd, longer attempt  factory reset occured and static ip setting reversed to DHCP.

hello,

by mistake I set my antminer L3+ to static ip instead of DHCP . Now I try to revert it but no succes. So far I tried:

- rebooting from ip ui
-  restoring to defaults,
- flashing new firmware
- hard resetting while holding ip report button.

When I try to acces Network tab, it just flat out refuses to go there, giving me Error connection timeout error. \

Please could someone help me and lead to right track on how to get back to DHCP mode? My other L3+ works with DHCP flawlesly.
