Re: The goodness of long-term investing in cryptocurrency
by

Short-term investment is like trading so I don't do that anymore, it's too stressful for me. I do choose long-term investment instead but it have to be a good project to maximize the profits in the long run. Out of ten that I picked way before the dump this year, I can still say I made profits from altcoins on the top 50.
I'd rather stick with what was recommended by the rankings that add more risk in finding gems that may end up just scams or rugpull projects.

Nicely said. I believe the same, this is not a long term HODL token. It's just massively hyped in social media and the billionaires who things they can manipulate everyone. It should be sold. Another strategy though is a very short term trading with this token. As long as there are people who believes in it's fake rise in the future, the movements will be pretty restless.
This ain't like BTC or Ethereum, there's nothing behind it. Take advantage of what it offers now and claim it as soon as possible.

Re: Some Tips To Aide Successful Sports Betting.
by

In the past, there was a time when I recorded in an excel sheet all my daily net wins or losses. I stopped it already and just now I realized how funny it was although useful. The main purpose at that time was to try earning daily from betting. I was doing casino games, especially dice, and of course my favorite sports betting. I did it for nearly a year. I can say, I mostly came up with a net win daily. And I can also see my grand total net profit and it was pretty decent.

Discipline and contentment are really the main keys IMO. We should always remember that we do not have to earn millions of dollars in order to be happy. This way, greed will not rule our minds.
Perfectly said. Although I didn't do this kind of strategy where I was jotting down every win and losses that I made. I was contented about just doing it without listing in any form and thinking I am making good profits out of gambling with good luck and some decent analysis in sports betting.
No objectives, just wildly (not blindly) betting everytime I have the spare money.
It works for me and I enjoy it. We should consider that "enjoy" part and maybe lady luck will come while we are pretty much happy win or lose.

His inability to trust his team is exactly what is going to make him not be able to perform as well as he should. I would say that there is going to be a gradual decline in his performance as a result of this. He probably won't try as hard as he did before, which means he won't do as well.

I really don’t think that either KD or Kyrie is moving anywhere.
Unlike when he was part of the Warriors team. He trusted the process and Curry gave way for him. He was also the superstar of the team on that moment. Right now, Kyrie won't do that for him. Both of them are trying to be superstars in their own way and that takes out the chemistry that must be built for the team to be effective on both ends. It sucks all the energy when two players are taking different paths. I won't expect too much on the Nets team and its true KD might not even play at his best and just try to keep himself healthy.

Re: Shiba Inu pumping , why? Hold or Sell?

The recent listing on different exchange was the reason behind it.
But if I were you I would not expect too much and stress all about it. If you bought your 20m Inu at a small price then just keep it. No need to worry much. But if you are trying to make profits out of that token then trade it back and forth while the market of it is still this volatile. Soon, this hype will calm down and it's going to be another long shot before it shakes again.

Re: How profitable Is investing in a crypto casino or sportbook?

We may need to wait for a "bookie" to answer here or the book owner himself. How long will that be? We don't know.
These numbers may be a private matter and for their eyes only.
But there must be someone who will be willing to share their experience on this matter. Even just a rough estimate of how much they will make or a percentage for every bet.

Re: How Problem Gambler Feels After Losing
by
Dart18
on 16/08/2022, 16:04:53 UTC
Chasing the losses had always been the main problem for me, before and even until now.
It's not something that can be controlled. If you want your money back you go bet more and you don't stop until you tie up the losses.
Once I tried to neglect it, went straight home and try to forget but it will keep on coming back to you and won't let you sleep.
You'd rather just play it than be on that condition where you are literally gritting your teeth to go back and play.

This loan application sharks are scattered all over different android application ads. Mostly in free applications that requires internet to play the game, use the app, or any kind of service. Good suggestion, avoid them. It would be a lot better to just go directly with private banks and take the loan there than this unknown application which we don't know if are credible. It may also be possible they are running a scam business and your government don't know a thing about it. You will have more problems if that is the case when bad things occur.

Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is?
by
Dart18
on 18/07/2022, 07:57:11 UTC
Better in blackjack than in dice. But for a martingale strategy to work it requires a large amount of capital. There could be instances that the house will be on a good roll and keeps on winning every set of game. Ending up with nothing more to bet will cut the strategy leaving you with nothing in return.
But yes, it's better used in a game like that where there's a chance you might get 1/10 win. Pulling off that one win will clear things back with profits and then reset.

At the last minute of the trade, the Brooklyn Nets should decide quickly because they could be late for free agent players or players that wanted out of their team players that are superstars, or have potential will be traded by other teams and they can not have a pick any more, or maybe they will be settle down to the new players and hope one could pop out spectacular, I say rebuilding a team is not an easy job in my opinion, there will be money involve a lot of money, and dramas,
That's the problem. They cannot rush it. KD is such a gem, you cannot just give him away for anyone. This is like an investment made by the Brooklyn Nets and they know they can exhange him for something fair or more.
It's not their problem if other teams could not equal the proposed exchange that they want.
The amount of money the Nets had spent when Durant was not playing was enormous so it would be best if they could maximized the trade that they want.
2 years, they paid him 2 years without play time.

Man that confused me. I know DCA but the explanation was rumbled.
It's simple. Make a capital, a big one for a better income. Let it do it's work using DCA. Buy every dip, sell when there profit. If you have deep pockets you could go let it buy more until it's exhausted then patiently wait until you have the opportunity to sell.

It's nice. I like it. Thank you for sharing. It gives hope.
This is what we need in times of a bear. FUD is already scattered in social media so this forum be better positive about Bitcoin.
Not about the price, but about the technology.
I doubt it will be less valuable in the upcoming months as more people minds are opened and soon they will be back when the economy gets better.

Re: Do we Need Altcoin?
by
Dart18
on 12/07/2022, 13:42:26 UTC
The world of digital currencies is growing exponentially, with new altcoins being created all the time. While some may be novelty coins with little genuine value, others may have unique features that make them more useful or desirable than traditional fiat currencies.

It’s important to remember that not all altcoins are created equal. Some may be more stable and have greater potential for growth than others. It’s also important to be aware of the risks associated with investing in altcoins – some may be unstable and have low liquidity, meaning they’re difficult to trade.

That said, there are a number of reasons why people may choose to invest in

I'd agree with this 5-10 years ago. But as we look at how deep the altcoin market became, they are kind of repeating the old projects that was created before. A lot of them are supported even without the proper explanation what is the difference with the older one.
I would gladly invest in some altcoins if I see the broad reach of their projects. Like Ethereum for example. It was supported and investors are still keeping the coin because of the huge change they made thanks to the ERC20 contract. It gave opportunity to new projects to create their own coins/contracts.
Are we able to witness something like that again?

Moses Moody.

Quote
Moody produced 34 points against the Knicks and looked solid at both ends. This coming after a season of relatively limited action: like Jonathan Kuminga, once the 2022 playoffs began, he was a victim of a numbers crunch as the Warriors leaned more toward Otto Porter Jr. and Gary Payton II during their championship run.
Could be the new partner of Jordan Poole on bench production. He was not given many minutes but we saw him contribute many time especially in the outside range. They may push him to work harder so that spot of Otto Porter and Gary Payton II will be given to him.
This is nice, another name who may possibly be talked about next season. Just run the play, do it right, and everything will fall at the right spot.
An impressive stat, he and Kuminga plus a healthy Wiseman if they will continue developing and enhancing

their skills, they will surely be the next generation Warriors core. They are all young and in terms of talents they've got
all the capabilities to compete and create their own resume in this league.

It's just a matter of consistently and the way they will adopt the system that's already established within this squad,
Expecting to see them playing for more minutes together with the main core of GSW this upcoming season.
That's 4 already including Jordan Poole to be their bench core. One more player and that will complete their 2nd five.
I don't see anyone yet but perhaps it will come from the G-League again or one of their rookie drafts. They will be tested at pre-season if they could somehow fill the holes that was left by the old players on both offensive and defensive end. Moody for example is not the defensive type so enhancing that side should be focused.
Offense will come through and 36 percent at three point line is not that bad. The average is at 34.2.

Re: How trading during bear market can save your portfolio

Applause to you then if you are holding a lot of USDT. Damn, you are rich.  Cheesy But that's the simplest strategy in the books. Buy low sell high, and if it gets lower buy more, now that's DCA. So what's so special about it? Any trader who have gone thru the basics can do that as long as they knew how to read the market and monitored it frequently.
It's more intriguing if there's something new that can shock us to the extent that we may follow your advise.

Re: Small Investors and Whales Still Believe in Bitcoin, Big Purchases This Month
by
Dart18
on 09/07/2022, 18:09:56 UTC
If small investors still believe in Bitcoin, it sheds a signal that we don't get a bottom range yet. The psychological cycle of market is repeated and bear market only comesto the end if small investors give up and feel very anger.

I think Bitcoin is in accumulation, not side way for a good bounce in a few months. After that, we will see another dump to wash out most of small investors. After a wash out, the market will have a long side-way to wash out rest of small investors. It will be very long waiting time to see ending of this bear market.
Scattered investment and kept for a long time. This is also why I like it more when the news is about more people buying Bitcoin and not just 1 whale or a group of them. Sure, they can tremble the market but long-term it will be the average buyer that will try and survive any dump.
Whales will sell to save themselves but small investors have hopes that it will be their savings that will also save them in the future.
I am a part of that, and I don't even have the slightest thought of selling. There's not even a stain of panic.
