Pretty awesome.  Hard not to love Overstocks enthusiasm.  Not a big fan of their service, prices, or inventory... but if they're a big business that's on Bitcoins side.  I'll give you some business.   Smiley

Escrow? I'm not really sure how else to do it. I can send photos of our stock if that would help reassure you. I completely understand the need for proof. This industry is riddled with firms over promising and under delivering. I am confident that after one deal with Cognitive Capital LLC you will be comfortable with our claims. So, would pictures put minds at ease?

Will you send me $10,000 if I took a picture of my Ferrari and offered it to you?

That should answer your question.

Well whole point of bitcoin is that transactions and daily payments are much easier.

The time required for confirming a transaction is worrying me.

Blockchain can detect double-spends almost instantaneously.

I wish so bad that big power consuming rigs were available when I was in university dorms...

That was a long bloody time ago though. Grin

Actually, that's me and that is my personal website.

I just added captions to them and included my Bitcoin forum user name.

Let me know if there are specific photos you want to see.  The machine is actively running in a data center so the angles I can take will be limited.

Thanks for clarifying, Mark.

I take it 3.8 is not good enough fer ya Wink...3.9 perhaps...?

but with the expected drop in network hashrate, I expext the difficulty to decrease/slow down quite dramatically in the next month or two.

WHat makes you think that ?

Decrease in bitcoin's value in relation to fiat always effects the network hashrate.  While BTC is not profitable, a lot of miners will likely be adjusting their hash accordingly.  Hashing PPCoin, or turning off if they're running Avalons.
I think you'll see what I'm talkking about over the next 2 difficulty adjustments... Smiley

If this is legitimate, this is one of the best products I have seen in the last couple of years, including ASIC releases.

Exactly what this market needs.

If it's not legitimate, let me know and I will personally hire some electrical engineers and a marketing team to design this.

Hehe.  Sorry, have not gotten around to replying to PMs yet.   Grin
Am looking in the 4-5 range.

I know that last week, 4-5 may have been pushing it, but with the expected drop in network hashrate, I expext the difficulty to decrease/slow down quite dramatically in the next month or two.  Hence why I think 4-5 BTC is more than fair.

Also, escrow is fine if it came to that, but pickup/meetup is better, so there's no wiggle-room for bad faith dealings.   Wink
I don't mind doing a road trip to an adjacent state, within reason (and assuming the price of BTC doesn't tank to under what it would cost to drive, lol)

I probably should have been clearer.  I have some other SHA-256 rigs I'm planning on letting loose in the next few months.  I plan on cutting my overall expenditure to make way for a Titan.   Wink

gauging the interest of the community, primarily.
Looking for about 4-5 bitcoins for a 690GH/s Jupiter.

Would prefer meetup/pickup in Utah if possible.
Contact me for phone number / pics / discussion.

I'm considering selling because I am happy with the return I have seen up until this point, but im going to be trying to lower my power expenditure in the coming months, heading into the summer.  This means Ill probably be looking at some scrypt setups (hoping the Titans are actually released, have some pre-orders).
