Yep, set it to false and it still beeps randomly.

I got the Beeping sorted
Removed the casing 5 screws each side
speaker/beeper on the top
open it with a sharp blade and pulled out the round steel thingy Smiley
no more beeps  Grin

Have you restarted it after disabling the beep?
Try a power cycle too. The S3 seems a bit problematic both in shipping & hashing.
After all, I will see this Antminer S3 as a partially faulty device.

Yes have powered cycle and reboot
tried everything to my knowledge
Hoping someone here found a solution to this annoying BEEP !
