Dimcoin is a great project which i believe will be huge since they have massive ideas and they are implementing something new which will eventually attract a lot of investors, I see Dimcoin reaching new highs after the release of Hybse.

This is a good point.  Having the health of Vitalik linked to the price of Ethereum defeats the whole point of a decentralized system.  I guess the same can be said about Charlie Lee and Litecoin.  Credit has to go to Satoshi Nakamoto for hiding his/her/their identity/identities.

Most cryptocurrencies are speculative in nature, their prices go up and down according to market forces.  Speculation is an act of trading financial instruments that can bring great gain or great loss for people who buy those instruments. 
Most people trade speculative instruments because they believe the gains will be greater than the losses.

In the DIM Ecosystem there is difference between the DIM Token and DIMCOIN.  The DIM Token are packages that give holders 100 DIMCOIN per token, they also give holders benefits such as suggestion and voting rights.  Lastly, token holders with +50 DIM Tokens will receive a portion of the 30% net fees earned on the transfer of DIMCOIN and DIM Currencies within the DIM Ecosystem.  The DIMCOIN will be listed on the cryptocurrency exchanges that trade XEM, traders will be able to convert it into cash and other cryptocurrencies. 

After reading the whitepaper, i believe your calculations are wrong regarding the DIMCOIN supply.  There will be 10 million DIM Tokens and not DIMCOIN.  

1 DIM Token = 100 DIMCOIN

10 Million DIM Token = 1 Billion DIMCOIN

After the DIM Tokens are finished, the ICO will continue but they will sell individual DIMCOIN for $0.02 each.  The price per DIMCOIN will increase by $0.01 for every $2,000,000 reached after the tokens are finished.  The price of the DIMCOIN will increase up to $0.12, after that it will remain $0.12 until the DIMCOIN set aside for the ICO are finished.  

If you include the bonus DIMCOIN they will give to people who buy during the Pre-ICO and ICO, you are looking at well over 1 billion DIMCOIN available.

The value keeps on fluctuating, not stable. It's no longer easy for newbies to invest in Bitcoins since the value is too high, only people with a lot of money can do that
