a.   Problems with current ticketing processes
The modern-day marketplace for tickets and accommodations is rife with problems making it unable to effectively satisfy the needs of world travelers for these reasons:
•   A rise in international travel has seen correspondent growth in foreign exchange rate transactions, causing unnecessary and often exorbitant fees.
•   With the preponderance of third party agencies servicing the tourism industry, the risk of sharing personal identifying information in multiple places puts users at unnecessary risk. In addition to this problem, is the issue of trackable transactions and a lack of privacy.
•   The current model for selling tickets is based upon the primary market, which focuses on sales immediacy by way of bots, and the secondary market, which thrives on high (sometimes 25-30%) commission rates. Both highly unregulated aspects of the industry prioritize profits while diminishing the user experience, and consumers are left with the often-confusing task of determining which services are legit and which are scams.
