BTC will not unexpectedly sky rocket in a day or a month, we have a long way ahead of us before reaching any reasonable price, let alone some serious amounts close to 19k that we once had. Different sources are saying that 2019. will not be easy and that we should arm ourselves with patience. Some normal and slow growth is expected, but nothing drastic.

Any sky rocketing is highly unlikely. We may expect a steady or oscillating growth, we even may expect that the price will continue to go up and down as we witnessed the last couple of days. I am afraid that due to this steady price growth, BTC will lose its community and the support of the masses. I expect its popularity to drop in the year to come.

We just experienced reverse, there is no point in selling now. It is time to patiently observe the rise of the prices. We are finally going to have some green charts in our plate.

This is the perfect time for anyone to join! If I would have met anyone that joined BTC investment when its price was 20k, I would say that was a bad time to start. Now, the possibility is great! Even more than great because we are already moving up the lather and all skeptics were proven wrong already. So, there will no doom day any time soon, BTC will not hit the bottom and price will not be zero. So, great time for us to participate in the game.

Yup, yup, we are finally moving in the right direction. I don't expect that anything drastic will happen in the next month but a steady and slow growth is expected.

I believe that you should never focus only on one coin. Select couple that you would invest in and of course, it all depends from your goal and end game. I like Cardano and XRP, XRP has a great potential for quick turnarounds and money gain. I also like to invest in new projects that I believe in. The project that I have invested recently in is BTCN. It has great ideas, transparent names behind the project and strong and active community. It already reached CMC and is being traded with in a couple of exchanges.

Re: Need bitcoin control?

Bitcoin is decentralised in a way that data are forwarded from a block to a block in the chain without the possibility for the whole system do get hacked and jeopardized. I don't know what will control bring to the coin, what kind of benefit and who will benefit out of it. If we are looking for it to be nationally accepted and supported by the governments, some kind of compromise will probably have to be made.

XRP has a huge potential in the next year. Take a look at the new, unknown projects that could potentially make great achievement in the future. I am currently monitoring the project called BTCN. It is extremely important for me to believe in the project and to be able to communicate with the names behind the idea. Also, dev team of BTCN seems extremely committed and they don't seem like another hit and run projects in the market. This coin reached comes in a bit and it already has strong and active community supporting it.

I say yes, definatelly YES. I like NEO, XRP, BTCN, Cardano. The price is low, the projects are good and show steady progess and good and wide community support. If you wish an easy turn, XRP.

I recommend XRP and Cardano. Don't keep all eggs in one basket. Also my strongest recomendation and something that I really enjoy doing is looking for a new, unkown project to invest in. My current interest is a coin called BTCN. It reached CMC in a bit and it's already positioned in a couple of exchanges. The most important thing is that their development team is still extremely active and they're improving it daily plus an active communty that is building a strong support.

Re: Are the banks going to kick-out bitcoin with their new digital coin
by
DavidTep1987
on 12/12/2018, 22:15:37 UTC
Banks disapprove of the cryptos because altcoins are made to resolve all the flaws and negative sides of Banking system. BTC is everything that the standard banking system is not and vise versa. If the banks make their own coin, it will still have the same core and algorithm as any altcoin. I believe that they will simply adjust it to be suited better their needs and goals. I don't see this as a bad thing, I see it as a compromise to make BTC easy access and more approved and used by the masses. This is a support to BTC by the banking system, in a way. I believe that it will be a good step forward.

Re: This dump will scare a lot of people away from Crypto!

This is true. It is evident that these rashes and panic driven actions contributed to the drop. It is the same like with any new coin, it has to have the support of the community. And the community is giving up on BTC these days. Which seems ridiculous to me, I can't understand people that are getting rid of their coins at 3.5k and even less.

You need to check the project first, read through all the information that are there and check the names behind the project. Presentation and transparency are extremely important. Also, check the effort that developing team is invested into it, it is an extremely good sign when you see that the devs are still committed and constantly improving and upgrading it. Also, some base factors like CMC, community, availability on the market, daily activity of the members. There are all major factors. The project that I am looking at for couple of weeks now has been BTCN. It reached CMC in no time, community is incredibly active and it is already present in a couple of credible exchanges.

What is with the apocalyptic BOT? Paris is not burning and USD will never be zero. Is this something that you do for fun? Writing posts like "World's about to end! Save yourselves!"

There is a great tour on the illegal network and the possibility that block chain brought to money laundry. Maybe this will keep BTC alive?

Re: Now is the time to invest into alt coin
by

But why not take the opportunity when the price is down to make the investment if you know that it will inevitably rise again? We can not see any progress in blockchain technology and improved altcions without giving a chance to new projects. I believe that current hard period that we are in is also keeping away scams and frauds because even they are having a hard time making some money with people being sceptic and extremely cautious. I believe that true cryptoentusiasts that are ready to believe in the block chain and the improvement that it is carrying are investing even now. There are always new projects that are made and that you should check. Take your pick, there are a couple of really good options and projects that are really well written and greatly supported by their developing team. I have selected a project called BTCN that I am looking into for some time now. It has already reached CMC and has a good and wide community that is making extreme efforts to keep it going and support it through the current period.

Re: Time to invest or wait ?

I would invest if I were you. This truly is a blessing in disguise. But don't panic if the price goes even more down in the weeks to come before it starts to rise again. I wouldn't even focus only on BTC, if this is what you are thinking about. If you are serious about the investment and looking for a long-term investment and steady profit, I would search for a promising unknown altcoin to invest in. But only if you read carefully the signs and the situation and if you know what are you looking for. Take in consideration the project, the team working on it, white paper, and transparency of the guys behind the project, the effort of the developers etc. I am currently investing small portions into the project called BTCN. It has everything that I have mentioned above plus a steady progress and the spread of its community. It already reached CMC and it is present to couple of exchanges. And my personal favourite of course is ETH, I have strong feelings about the future of this one. Check them out!

Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin?
by
DavidTep1987
on 04/12/2018, 21:24:36 UTC
I am always checking every single detail that I can find about the people behind the project. The crucial thing is to see how much is the developing team committed to the idea and it is easily shown by checking all the alterations, changes and updates that are done in a certain period of time. The improvement has to be constant so that you can be sure that it is not a scam project where they are only looking to collect the initial profit. Also, the actions that are taken in promoting and implementing the coin in the market, CMC, exchanges, etc. The project that I am currently interested in and that satisfies all the criteria that I have mentioned and that is important to me is BTCN. This altcoin already reached CMC and is active in a couple of credible exchanges. It shows a steady progress and improvement for now.

Re: Blockchain survive, cryptos die
by
DavidTep1987

I don't agree that future economy needs cryptos. Why would it need cryptos? Cryptos are the newest way how the money circulates in the current economy and the market, but they are only the mean that is used. Money will always be there, whether it's a dollar, gold or BTC or something new in the future. We do not need cryptos to keep it circulating. Blockchain on the other hand shows us a new brighter future how information is transferred and it is already being used in other industries. Blockchain will be used as a tool even if coins die.
