Re: How to add a Bitcoin address to Electrum / difference sweep and import priv. key

From your guide, we can import private key and get three address types: 1, 3 and bc1q.

I read that Electrum stopped its options to create new wallets with 1 and 3 address types. Could we do this in Console of Electrum?

Or if I want to have address types like 1 and 3, I have to create a wallet with Segwit addresses, then I import its private keys to have 1 and 3 address types?

Re: Why Bitcoin Magazine Doesn't Limit to 1 Acct Per IP Address?

As you see below, 20 accounts are used by me. Every week, a giveaway of at least 200 satoshis via QR code on their Twitter page @EarnWithBM are released to the public per account holder. So I make 20 times what the average Joe makes. What is Bitcoin Magazine's business model? Just giving away money? Something just doesn't add up here.
They are generous and lack of tools to detect cheating from their giveaway.

If you want to have answer, ask them. They will response and you will no longer to use 20 accounts to claim their giveaway. Maybe they did not think about cheating but if they are aware of such, they will response promptly.

I wonder that as a student, is investment in Bitcoin not stressful?

If it is stressful, a student should not make that investment because learning is more important. If your brain is in stress, you can not learn well.

Re: Stories about lost Bitcoin

Back in Feb 2020, I gave my seed phrase to someone on twitter. The convinced me the seed phrase was equal to my address and that they needed it to send me bitcoin. Don't ask me why I was so stupid... I lost approx. 1M sats and I had to start accumulating again. I bought a Trezor and I started reading...
You made a bad mistake and lost 1M sats or 0.01 BTC, a big lesson.

Sometimes I don't know how people can be scammed in bank transfer. They only need to give their bank account ID for person who has a transfer deal with them. They gave more information by request like account password. Does it smell wrong at beginning?

If you want to send me a letter, what do you need? It is my house address and it's all you need. You don't need my house lock ID or key to get in my house.

Same with Bitcoin, you need to give them a public address, not your private key, not your mnemonic seed.

And trading in Twitter messages, it's bad practice.

Re: There is more to the regulation's aim

If anything needs regulation, it is CENTRALIZED EXCHANGES only.
Governments will try to regulate things at their reachable hands and capability. They will not restrict their regulations to anything like centralized exchanges.

Do you think decentralized exchanges can be safe from governmental regulations?

If founders, co-founders, developers of a decentralized exchanges are known by governments, I believe authority staffs will knock their doors to bring them to court if necessary.
