Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society

My Country isn't going to be cashless as of now. It is quite hard to realize this since it will take a lot of changes to the economy and to the people around. If you want to be cashless then the stores as well should change which should offer online payment services like bitcoin. For now I also do not believe that China is really cashless. There are still areas which I think that stores did not have online support for payments. But I believe maybe in the future this will happen.

Re: How the Bank works to make money?
by

I have asked a bank manager once. He told me that the real inflow of money is when people lends money from the bank. The interest of the borrowed that are quite big are the ones they use to pay their employees. When somebody deposits in the bank they got their money addded with interest but at the same time this money can be an asset to the bank should they need to use it for lending.

Re: Why is gas fee so high?
by

1I have read and heard the same as others in the forum have told. It is because the network had a very high traffic or is congested. And it will take more time to transact with the ethereum platform and because of these it will be hard to mine all. Lesser gas fee will result to your coins getting less or maybe the least prioritize transaction.

Re: How long will the bear market last?

By the way I see it, in my opinion it would take a lot of time before recovery happens. The push going up is so little that everytimr it goes up there are a lot of pressure going down. I think we need more coin movements now so that it will rise. Need to emphasize more utility than just mere holding. In this manner the natural usage will create a change in the prices. How long will the bearish market last? I think and hope this will end in the last quarter of this year.

Maybe he just don't trust other coins. Experiences may have change his minds into believing it. Well just let him be about what he believes and just don't get FUD by any person. Be always updated about recent events. That is the best way not to fall upon someone elses words that might only cause panic and leads to loses. As for me I am keeping my alts and I am not selling it.

Re: Bitcoin's High Volatility
by
Dbigfoot102
on 09/07/2018, 01:37:00 UTC
Bitcoin really did go up high so fast in value. Looking back it was just priced so low that anyone could just buy it for fun or just to experience how cryptocurrency works. Because of the sudden increase over the years as people have learned that it was profitable many around 2017 had participated in investing in bitcoin. Now because there was no actual usage just purely holding of bitcoin the result was the balance went off. Actual usage is low compared to holders and this created more volatility. Because the more people who are just waiting for value to rise the more people will be selling. The more the price decreases the more people got panicked and sell their coins. So the price keeps moving up and moving low. After a very high rise of bitcoin price a very low downfall is always expected not unless the bitcoin will be used more often for a purpose.

Re: My opinion about ETH

Ethereum still ranks second to bitcoin. Should it happen that it will be leading, you will know it because ethereum will be dictating the price of bitcoin. As of now it is still bitcoin that shows more sales and greater influence over the other coins. Despite ethereums design of being a platform as well that holds other coins still that was not just enough to surpass it.

Re: How long before banks become obsolete?

It was not so good to be questioned about so many things especially when it is your money. This is how things should be. However there are rules that banks are also following which I think is the reason why they would keep asking you about it when you are there client for around 30 years as you said. Think about the whole economy of your country maybe you will know why you aren't allowed to send money anywhere. This could be the same reason why cryptocurrencies are somehow banned in some countries. As for banks, they have survived everything for many centuries and generations so I think they won't be lost easily.

Re: Curiosity of bitcoin prices in the future

It is not a price that is quite impossible to reach. Predictions even rise as high as 50,000$ so I think it is possible. It doesn't need to reach this value but atleast half of it is even possible. But I think it will take some years before it will be reached. It has to stabilize first before going up until finally reaching it.

Re: Why people are still buying BTC?

I think you need to see the good side of bitcoin. Perhaps you are too focus on looking at bitcoin as something to buy, hold and then earn money. This is not what bitcoin is suppose to work. The real usage gives it value. Buying, holding and then selling is just making it volatile. But when too many will be actually using it, certainly the values will just go straight right up and probably stable.

I believe in your idea that using blockchain to facilitate economic improvement or helping the economy is correct. Though the blockchain is working in the background it had been serving until now so many people with their fortunes. Many have become rich wth bitcoin and it was not possible without the blockchain working to keep records. Blockchain serves as the central economic record for all of that which is connected to it and maybe could be a good source of information of the entire economic progress.

Re: Factors that affects the value of bitcoin...
by
Dbigfoot102
on 04/07/2018, 15:31:05 UTC
The volume of bitcoin is the measure of  how valuable it will be. This signifies usage of bitcoin. The more usage the higher the price will be. These is the main reason for the volatility of bitcoin. Because when price is high the more traders will sell their tokens creating lesser demands. Other contributing factors are also pushing bitcoin to the edge like government regulations, FUD due to scams and many other reasons all leading to the change in its price.

Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin?

New altcoins may not be having market but if they really have a good product or service it is for certain they will succeed  even when they are just a month old or so. It will be pumped as usual for the very first months then go on stable later. This is what I have commonly seen many times before getting stable and in a parallel pace with bitcoin's prices.

You are correct I see your point. This maybe the reason why the price drops a bit longer. But should it happen that they will have nothing to sell maybe they could no longer control the market and lets wait until they buy more and it will be us to gain the chance to trade what is ours, the newbies. So if any whales are coming for sure they will have a hard time gaining profit.

Re: future bitcoin transaction fees
by
Dbigfoot102
on 03/07/2018, 02:21:51 UTC
I think that transaction fees are oftentimes connected in ratio with the amount of transactions or usability of bitcoin. And even with money transfer facilities they based payments with the amount of money. So I think it would happen that if there would be problems most especially with more transactions taking place the greater the payment will be. So in the future should bitcoin go back to its all time high maybe bitcoin will have higher fees again.

Re: Bitcoin holders will have to pay their tax?
by

I think this is possible. But I believe the one that should be taxed are those exchanges as they are the ones at the receiving end of the transactions and the miners as well. If the governement will impose taxes while just holding coins certainly none will be left to be part of the community after being afraid of loses.

Re: Bounty rewards Sell Immediately? or HODL!
by
Dbigfoot102
on 02/07/2018, 01:38:36 UTC
It is common to trade it immediately for money as it was what makes a bounty hunter happy after a hard work and or because each bounty hunting is a livelihood to make. On the other side it would be helpful to the ICO project to hold it a bit so that they may have more time to adjust to changes should bounty hunters sell their coins. So if you want to help them hold it but if you want more money you may wait for prices to go up. Just remember everything is a gamble you may never know when prices will be up. It could be next day, week or maybe next years to come.

Re: Bitcoin and Disable person
by
Dbigfoot102
on 01/07/2018, 16:00:46 UTC
Disability is a term that is quite broad for the topic to be fully understood. By saying disability does this mean all or any disability? We know that it would be so hard for a disabled person to participate in cryptocurrencies given that it uses internet connectivity and computer. If a person is disabled in terms of not having hands to type or click on something then it would be very difficult to deal with  cryptocurrencies. A person cannot just give his private keys and let others do the typing for him. So I guess you may have mean a partial disability. And if so this idea is great for them.

Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency
by
Dbigfoot102
on 29/06/2018, 16:50:46 UTC
We can't actually predict the future of cryptocurrencies but looking at how each day some events unfold, there might just be something you can think of happening. For me while there are so many ICOs around, I would say altcoins will have a greater chance of going to the top after this bearish market. While it may also happen that the support on bitcoin will become less it might also recover if there will enough utility for it.
