Well, I don't see it wrong if you want to monetize bitcoin as an exchange for your services. I believe it exist for it to be used as an exchange as an alternative. As long as you follow guidelines provided by your country regarding fares, taxes, and other services I think there's nothing wrong with that.

But what would be the point in posting a staff accounts alleged password?

That isn't achow's password, it is the stored hash of the password. If his password is strong (which I expect it is) and if he's already changed it (which I expect he has) then it would be impossible to get his current password from what that user posted.
The forum was hacked a few years ago and the admins are doing everything they can to strengthen the site from hackers and if information about the site's weakness is leaked they will be the first ones to know about it and fix it and If you're the user who has his password publicised you know if it's the real or not and you can change it if you still have it.

I consider your idea rather smart or stupid. Yes you can stimulate their motivation for the prize but thinking about you will gwt it for what? 20 years?! Who can wait that long for an amazon card! However, you are not forced to stay here indeed. Don't waste your precious time, take a long break! I don't come here for months at a time, whenever I feel like it.

Can't say. Yes its hard work being a campaign manager as far as I can see all of them are showing a great job managing these signature campaigns, looking at each other's post and doing their best to ensure giving the best service they can to the once they employed. I can't judge any of them nor rank them because each of them has their own ways of dealing with things, they have their own story and each of them handle different situations but if you want my opinion about their work, I say its very good. So far so good.
I made a quick glance in the thread. I want to say that technically you are not really storing Bitcoin locally in your computer. It is all right there in the blockchain. But you do control the "coins" you have by having or knowing the private key to unlock them. Cloudcoin is a closer and a more appropriate name for Bitcoin if you study at it well.
This mean you can access your bitcoin thru your computer directly with the use of software like bitcoin core wallet, or other light wallet like electrum, multibitHD etc. And you can have the wallet that contain the private key and public key to that address in the blockchain. You can also back up those access keys and be able to transfer the control from one computer to another computer.
So logically you cannot store your bitcoin in your computer but can gain access and control to it thru desktop applications.

Yes exactly. But most of the answers here show that most of them are clueless about how Bitcoin works or maybe they do not care. Read the answers right after my post. None of them care. They just say yes and tell you to download a piece of software so that you can "hold" Bitcoins in your computer.
I know. Most People here just bump into different threads just for the sake of adding their activity count or post count which is kind of annoying actually. The topics aren't going fluid and it just keeps on going over and over, people posting again the same thing, and yes they don't really care. Plus their the ones having signature campaigns while others who are much more worthy are in the waiting list. So sad for them.To the OP -your questions have already been answered. You are making the mistake of thinking that McDonalds minimum wage applies in every country in the world... but someone making 380 ish dollars with 3 accounts posting on the internet is having a great deal in certain countries. Even in some European countries like in some parts of Czech republic or nearby, you could make a living in some non expensive area with that money.
That's not our problem. People should try to acquire some actually useful skills rather that mindlessly posting garbage around here. For example, it is not that hard to pick up some programming language for some entry level position.I agree with Lauda there, yes maybe you earn maybe around 380ish dollars with three accounts posting here you still shouldn't it is still the same as disobeying the rules, the law, the word of the master. It is clearly stated that it is allowed to, but earning from it is discouraged. The point of the OP is the quality of the post and abiding with the rule. Like Lauda sid you should try learning some skills to have a job to earn for a living. *programming is one of it

Well, at first i find your topic intriguing, understanding that the accounts here at bitcointalk forum are stored securely in a private database and hacking through these needs superb skill so the other known option to why your account is hacked is if you're phised or if you're scammed both are commonly owner's error. The forum already provided a warning to be careful and vigilant, its up to you to do what ever precaution necessary to prevent these from happening.
