Ya cryptonight seems to be more gpu oriented then cpu but the yesscrypt16-32 algos and developer specific algorithms can be cpu only. Verium for example algo being scrypt2.

Hi, with CPU Miner opt 3.8.4.1 i got:
i5 4670k 4.2ghz: 4core 280h/s 74w - 2core 200h/s 61w
Xeon E5-2620 v4 3.1ghz: 7core 400h/s - 8core 440h/s

What's your hashrate ? Thanks you
Hi,
I've got 500h with not overclocked Ryzen 1600.
It's with CPU Miner opt 3.8.4 (3.8.4.1 not tested yet but I think hashrate will be the same).

seeing your comment really made me set my mind to buy a Ryzen CPU i really want one and since you've showen how much you get from 1600 i'll order it today thanks a lot.

I have a threadripper 1920x and get 500 using only half of the processor i use the other half to makes sure my gpu can maintain full load without cpu interfering. If mining on gpu and cpu.

Ive mined cryply and am mining wavi, its unknown how they will do but its worth a shot IMO. just set a goal of how muchto mine. Mine it hodl and switch and hodl if it fail well you tried if it goes to the moon though then i was worth it. ive seen cpu mining right now is a risk but has profit if u wade through the established shitcoins. once we see cryptonight coins fork to be asic resistant we should see some profits at least temporally. try not to over do it on a unknown new coin because id hate someone to lose a cpu on a shit coin. I use thread ripper and i just dedicated half my cpu load to it by cpu affinity, rest of my cores go to gpu mining and standard media, movies and such same with cpu affinity.

If you could make that fit that would work perfectly till you find the fan. Find out how may Millimeters the fan is and find something close to it and splice the wires. Most fans on the 580 should be close to the same size. So one from another company should work if it is same size and fan holes to frame.

https://www.nzxt.com/products/kraken-g10-white-- if worst comes to worst this is compatible to fit but need to buy a aio for it.
