Atleast you got back 90%, so far I have receive 0% of my assets. I thought we would be able to withdraw on our own also.
Yup, totally ridiculous that they didn't take that route. The fact they didn't has added to my suspicion about the whole thing TBPH. Hope you see some funds/assets returned soon.
Thanks Milo, unfortunately the funds in my acct. were simply a few weeks of dividends, it's the assets that I really want returned as there's a lot more value there. Oh well, live and learn I guess. I had taken a 'don't invest more than you can afford to lose' approach but it doesn't stop it from being a bit painful and the timing of this was real bad for me.

And why he didn't just leave the site live for a while with trading disabled so that members could access their own accounts and withdraw the funds themselves is totally beyond me. What an utter frickin mess!

Re: Your GLBSE account has been partially processed.
I'm an honest guy and am happy to send the overpayment back. I do however find Nefario's "It would be better to return the coins without me having to chase you for them." extremely hypocritical seeing as he's barely made effort to update anyone as to what's going on and many users have still not received their funds, none of us have received our full balances (double payments aside!), and none of us have received info on our assets yet.
What do people on here think? Should I send the total second payment back, should I only send the extra 80% back, or should I wait for info on my assets first?

Posting this here as can't comment in the main forums yet.
Received the following email from GLBSE last night:
Your GLBSE account has been partially processed. 90% of your funds have been returned to you with this payment. Once we recieve the remaining funds from our treasurer and secretary the final payment will be made and you will be informed. We will also inform you when we process your assets, allowing you to continue your relationship with your issuer.
Still no info on my assets but things are certainly looking up

Hi folks,
So I've finally got around to joining. I guess that makes me a newbie here but I've been reading through the posts here for around the last 18 months and was gpu mining for a while last year (until I moved and found myself without space to do so).
Main thing that finally prompted me to join is the recent GLBSE drama as I have a few assets there and am trying to figure out what's going on and whether I've lost my coins. I think I've read through most of the related threads, including updates from both gigamining and bitbond (which has thankfully made me a little more confident that all is not lost as these 2 are where most of my investments are). I also had a small amount of rareearth bonds but haven't found much about them on the forums so if anyone can point me in the right direction there it would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Relish
p.s. I picked my username on a total whim and it's simply a play on the word decentralist and the fact I like chutney
