I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.

I think that it all depends on the way that you like to invest, you can not invest on ICOs if you do not even know how they work or how to make profit out of them, but buying bitcoin is also for a long term, and you will never be deceived about thatShould I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Brand new to the cryptocurrency market. Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC. It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it. I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019. It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin. I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future. Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product. Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere. My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years? I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside. Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC? What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?
I have nothing against BTC. I don't see it going anywhere. It is the giant. However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Ethereum has greater prospects than Litecoin. Ethereum is very popular when conducting ICO. Therefore, it will be used more, so its price will grow faster in the future than Litecoin. My choice is Ethereum!I have nothing against BTC. I don't see it going anywhere. It is the giant. However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?
Yes we do. Altcoin is an alternative cryptocurrency (to Bitcoin), and each alt offers its possibilities. Many altcoins are safer than BTC and their transactions are faster. They are more anonymous and you can use these coins for different purposes: for ICOs, buying/selling stuff in internet, even paying in restaurant!I really believe in the cryptocurrency and the fact that in the coming years the price of the most popular coins will only increase. There are prospects. There are new, successful projects that solve problems in society.
ADA is worth 1/10th of ETH in terms of market cap, but has so much more potential. Completely lost my confidence in ETH as new ICO's on decline, unknown inflation etc etc.
You can also lose confidence in ADA, as in ETH. Yes, the project is really very good. But at the moment it is developing very slowly. And I would leave some of the money in ETH.This is good to know which are good coins before investing,First of all know about the market capture and thoroughly research of white papers it will clarify how long it will survive. Competitive team behind is major strength of any coin if strong team behind it mean coin is stable and worthy.

Agreed with you that is really great effort to explain everything in details about Hive. It is worth to read and understand why it will get very important position in this ecosystem and what benefits investors will get by holding this tokens in future.

Интересно, кто покупает у разрабов на гамма продаже, цена на idex ниже более чем в два раза. Впринципе если в проекте есть заинтересованные инвесторы то стоимость на idex потихоньку должна стремиться вверх
Там покупают крупные инвесторы. Они на айдекс не пойдут с его мизерными объемами. Это для мелких инвесторов есть возможность откупить дешевлеМне перепало в свое время с баунти, я даже забыл что это, а потом смотрю бац и очень даже неплохо вышли. Вообще все американские команды ребята серьезные, а у этих еще и рекалмная компания бодрая была, но я так понимаю, что кроме IDEX они никуда не вышли?

Холдить целесообразно не всегда. Большинство токенов сильно падают после выхода на биржи. Так что лучше наблюдать за рынком и по возможности продавать токены, пока они ещё чего-то стоят.
Я еще с начала года держу много разных токенов, некоторые куплены за свои деньги, некоторые полученные за баунти, в итоге все токены и монеты падают и продолжают падать в цене, уже приблизительно в 4 раза цена упала от максимума

Начел искать, способы обезопасить свой кошелек нашел, но хотел бы еще узнать, а как вы обезопасили свой кошелек, может я что-то упустил. И еще как думаете после того как сделают масштабирование эфириума цена на эфир поднимется? А то сейчас курс в упадке.

yes, hive is good! I've been following them for a long time! How to implement a working platform, then around the world learn about it! But we do not have enough good exchanges (I hope the team will hear us!As per my understanding the team has focus to develop this platform first and establish this well. They didn't start marketing campaign for this now it is almost complete and I think soon it will get listed on good exchange soon.

Ethereum is a very good coin has great potential for future success, can be seen from now many projects that use Ethereum, I think ETH reliable for the future, so the best choice for long-term investment is Ethereum.
