I still yet to receive my money on this, I bet on Liverpool to win vs Watford like 4 days ago, the match ofc ended, shouldn't I be having my money by now?

Yeah, you should have had you money in by now. I'm not sure what's going on. Have you tried contacting them through their social media links like telegram? They're more responsive there, so you may get a reply quicker.
Also, its good to keep the community updated with these issues, so let us know the outcome.

Hey Zica, yeah I have received my money, I was worried because most of the sportsbook they will give the winnings after match ends usually, in the case of OneHash (it was my first time betting in them) they have taken too long not sure why... I think that is not good for new customers point of view, they don't have any where in their page to say how long it takes.

I don't understand this offering 5BTC bonus, is that for real or what? and one person above already complaining about this site, I don't think it is actually true, whether it is up front or by monthly payment.

Maybe it is an offer to attract people and later on decline their withdraws I think.

Re: Is Bitcoin core safe to store all of my bitcoin?

download the webpage https://www.bitaddress.org/
take your computer offline ( remove the internet wire )
load a linux live boot cd/usb.
print out a public/private key pair using that bitaddress webpage.

you've got yourself cold storage.

I will definitely go for this way, just in case I want to store a lot of bitcoins, so I think a paper wallet is the safest but have some disadvantages like paper degrade or the paper itself can be lost all together.

Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities?

It would have been good to find shops accepting bitcoins, definitely I would just forget about carrying a fiat, but there is long way to go, we are just now seeing many online sites accepting bitcoins, so I think next will be shops and ATM's everywhere..

or im just dreaming Tongue

I agree with the fact that not many people know bitcoin, I am sure some ask what is even that? I did that when I was new to it
The only way I think to make more people know about it is, those millions of sites accepting only paypal as payment to also consider use of bitcoin.

Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange

This is still the most common mistake among newbies. People buy their bitcoins on coinbase, circle, or any of those sites, and they almost never do any other research than that, they think they are set and it's safe to leave the coins on there. Those people will learn the hard way.

Referring to what you say "newbies", im not newbie in bitcoin, I used it around 2012-14, just didn't use it the last years, infact I have joined this site before you did Tongue

Anyways, the money I have on coinbase is just for spending purpose and not keeping.

If i were you , you  should   not  waste your money  on buying those besides you are just back  up to bitcoin world  you should utilize and diversify the bitcoin that you remain  in previous years  not  on wasting them  but still  its your decision though  to make such action because its  your own  money. Smiley Keeping  money on  exchange sites do  have really risk of lossing it.

What do you mean by waste your money? buying something from online and steam games ? If you mean so, then actually I didn't want to use debit card/paypal, when BTC option is available in many sites now.. that's why i'm using it for.. it isn't great amount either way, it is better than gambling on it.

About diversify btc, I have a reserved btc for that. Smiley

Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet?

I prefer Bitcoin wallet by miles, because of the fast and low fees transactions.

Yeah, the fees are awesome in Bitcoin. Transaction fees are so low compared to bank transactions. You can send money to other countries for such a low amount it's a steal actually.

Indeed and also the fact that sending bank to bank will take around 2-4 days compared to bitcoin which is instant, that's what everyone like about bitcoin. simple and efficient.

I don't get what you mean but is isn't already a currency? just get an internet access and there you go, you have one.. then you have exchanges where you can get fiat if you want or vice versa.

So what offline wallet do you recommend?
never be a good idea to store your bitcoin in third party like an online wallet and exchange , it's okay if you stored low amount only just to spend daily purpose. but if you talking a large amount storing your bitcoin on an exchange in the long term really a blunder it's has proven on how mtgox , cryptsy and bitfinex claimed hacked it should be a good example.

I have just came back to btc after 2 years, but i'm not going to keep all my BTC there, so I just have a little amount there to shop online and buy some steam games.

by

on 03/11/2016, 12:16:18 UTC
The past 2 years I wasn't using bitcoin mostly when the price was very low.. but I was very lucky to escape from a site called goldencows, I was eager to put my btc in it, but then I thought of waiting a little more time and bum I see, site is no longer working, so basically he run away with all the money.

The next thing actually will be cloud mining sites, maybe I think.. even though I used to use cex.io cloudmining, I will be staying away from them at all now.
