Pascal Coin was added by Poloniex more than a year ago, which is why I have always been optimistic about it
Does polo even work?
I can't do any transactions. Free Wallet is under maintenance for every coin it supports.
I wanted to send a bit of ZEC that I mined, but there is a warning to only exchange within the wallet. PASC is on polo only.

这个问题我简单研究过：
首先是这个创始人不管任何事，只开发，并且他当时是匿名的，也不是全职在做，外加其它开发人员一共两三个人零零散散在干活。今年年初公开了身份并且全职在做。
第二是这个社区没有管理。当时Reddit上 r/PascalCoin 社区的管理权限都不在团队手上(其实也没有团队)，上面没有活跃度，团队和社区没有交互。电报群、Discord群类似的情况。一波暴涨后，如果你没有一个成型友好的社区来转化新进来的社区成员的话，那肯定是不能够持续的。7月份完成注册了基金会, 现在有了组织和计划，目前势头发展不错。
第三就是没钱。现在有20%的区块奖励到DAO，算是解决了可持续发展问题。
第四，就是我上面提到的算力中心化的问题，一个矿池有90%算力，这种问题悬在头上，是不可能有大钱进来投这个币的，很难想象一个币能带着这种问题排进100名，当然上新交易所也非常难了。新的挖矿算法可以解决这个问题，已经开发完成并测试了，希望本月可以集成。到时我也挖点。
PascalCoin确实存在上述的一些问题。其实PascalCoin在2017年1月份爆涨过一次。只是目前的价格比较低、总市值比较低， 我认为根本上讲还是共识不够多，应用不够多，社区规模不够大。
造成共识不够多的原因有很多，我认为除了上面提到的几条，还有以下几点：
1, 项目的开发还未充分的完成，混币功能还不完善，第二层协议(智能合约)还没发布。软件界面不友好等。
2, 精通Pascal语言的程序员不多，开发团队不够庞大。
3, 可删除区块（无限扩容）的特性尚未得到市场足够的重视。可能还要一两年，类似PascalCoin这一类的，可删除区块（无限扩容）的币种才会引起人们的重视。
这种感觉又像是饥饿销售的一种了，和Eos一样拿账号做为一种资源来进行炒作。
按这种情况来看，估计以后会出现一大批这种拿账号来进行炒的币种了。

恰恰相反， PascalCoin的帐号是不太可能被炒作，靓号除外 ( 类似早期短QQ号)，社区的原则是每人可以免费获取一个帐号，或以极低的成本获取一个账号。 PascalCoin的系统类似国外的银行类系统，有死帐号、死币回收功能。 4年(将改为10年)不动的账号， 账号上面的币及帐号本身，将被逐步挖矿回收。
目前PascalCoin的帐号供应量远大于需求量，只有5%帐号在使用。 将来不够的话，社区会通过硬分叉大幅增加帐号供应。
非常看好PascalCoin的潜力。 我认为PascalCoin目前主要面临两个问题。
一是，免费获取帐号(pasa）不是很容易，需要加入社区discord申请。 希望将来在钱包端实现免费获取一个帐号。
二是，与传统数字货币在用法上不一致。 PascalCoin可能是在公钥私钥之外第一个引入帐号概念的去中心的数字货币。这导致很多新手不太容易学会使用PascalCoin。
回看目前数字货币的现状，EOS等好像也开始使用帐号的概念，并且获取帐号也不太容易。随着区块容量扩展与去中心化的矛盾日益突出。PascalCoin必将获得更多人的关注，或在不远的将来产生爆发式的增长。

- Pasted it to discord bot few hours ago

I still don't have account on pascwallet.com and wallet app neither.

if you get an account from the bot. you can find it on wallet app with chose "explore accountw with one of my wallet keys".
The account should link with your publick key. It has no matter with pascwallet.com . If you want more accounts, you can buy from pascwallet.com

If you withdraw pasc from polo. suggest to have a test , only withdraw 1 pasc. if success, then withdraw more.
I did test. I am not the only not whale with missing coins.
Polo also stole me more than 200 Pasc. I have sent them a ticket a month ago, but no response till now.

Thank you. I do have a lot of hash power though, a number of machines with 6-8 video cards each. Couldn't I solo mine to generate my own accounts, and is there instructions on how to do that somewhere? I think the references I find on youtube and elsewhere are outdated and use the old pascalminer that used to be released with the wallet.
