I think $200-250 is more realistic.
ETH is a very good coin in the cryptocurrency market so I believe it will be very hard to lose its value. ETH has been hit hard by the recent downturn which has caused many ICO projects to be dumped causing the value of ETH to fall sharply.
I bought some ETH last week. It seems a good timing.

Was about to turn on some rigs and re-start mining ETH again yesterday, however looking at the prices today, might as well leave the rigs off.
With the issuance reduction coming in 3 weeks most likely will just keep rigs off longer unless we see +$400 ETH in the near future.

Hello Mr. Claymore. Yes, please update your cryponote miner. As I am a developer myself, I somehow understand the current state you are in, but you have got to push forward now.
Fact is (For me for sure) that this is the ONLY miner I use that works PERFECTLY for all my rigs. The ONLY ONE! I am really frustrated that any other miner just can not bring similar performance.
Anyway, please just update to the newest algorithms, or open your code, pass it on to someone who will develop this in the future. Or do i yourself, take fees whatever. But it's a shame, that the best miner for crypronote is just standing still and waiting for whatever. If we wait for the next update, like monero will already have their next Algo update.....
As a developer you know, with great power comes great responsibility, act now.

srb seems to get close to old hash 1900 to 1987 on my 56 flashed 64

For my R9 390 (under clocked) , the V8 rate is 57x while the V7 rate is 66x. So it is 14% less hash rate.I use the XMR-Stak

The good thing here is big company like facebook do reverse their decision which is nice but talking about price boost i dont even feel it coming.Inspite of that positive news the price still tanks on same prices we do see some percentage gains but later on the price had gone down again. Current cap as of writing $247,033,798,773 which i had seen on last days it was on $252B.

The whole crypto market is in bearish mood. I think it will take some time for price to recover.
I downloaded the newest v11.3 for windows and have been trying to mine Worktips on a couple different pools but I keep getting this error message, can anyone help me out with what is causing this ?

You may reduce the overclocking or the intensity.

First of all those are very old cards and unless you are paying less than $0.10 USD for electricity they probably won't be profitable. Secondly, there are so many upcoming threats to mining that will simply increase the difficulty too much to make all GPUs not profitable. I highly recommend you read up on the upcoming delivery of ASICs and the ETH POS fork.

I agree. These cards are not very efficient. You need to undervolt a lot to be profitable.

You are right. The price of ETH is still above $700.
in my opinion of course there is a possibility to increase the price or much high but its not for me to decide for me its good choice to hold ethereum for now
I think it is very possible when the ASIC is not useful anymore in the ETH mining.
I can use xmr-stak with 15.12 drivers and HD 6950 no problem.
