Probably should remove the bounty/airdrop info from the OP. They are already finished.

Do the dev team have any better communication with Stocks.Exchange regarding ITNS than anyone else? Or basically impossible like the rest of us? Because getting in contact with Stocks.Exchange support is impossible, they don't reply to tickets or twitter tweets/messages.

After the Stocks.Exchange maintenance update, ITNS/ETH and ITNS/BTC are available for trade on the website, but they remain disabled for trade via the API. Seems like they forgot to re-enable it or something.

Installed the wallet.

First problem is no block source available.

When I tried to encrypt the wallet, the client crashed.

After reloading, it shows the wallet is encrypted but doesn't actually ask for a password to access it.

Why is this coin US $74 when the wallet doesn't even work properly

The devs are definitely active on Discord. Though probably would be good if they kept the OP thread on the forums up to date with any current information. But I guess they have limited time and are spending most of it on development.

By the way the PASL pool page has been offline for several hours. Still seem to be able to mine to the pool though. Just can't access the web page.

Agreed, this is completely unnecessary and so confusing for new users. I see this a a major downside of the coin that will affect adoption especially since there is no easy way to get the account. Contrary to what others, and especially devs, might think, setting up a wallet, figuring out how to use Slack and asking a Bot for and account (provided the bot works and devs aren't on vacation at the moment) is certainly not simple and not an easy way.

I'd love to hear from devs if there is any benefit or technological requirement for this indeed very weird implementation.

Absolutely. I don't see why I should care about a coin that can't be used until you buy some on an exchange then use it to buy an account. Banks don't charge to open accounts. If they did no one would use them.

Of the dozen other wallet setups I've used for different coins, this is by far the worst.

I'm not getting the point of having an account. There is already a wallet, why add an extra pointless step that makes using the currency more annoying?

If I mine coins to my wallet via a pool, I can't even do anything with them or transfer because I don't have an account and can't access operations.

This coin is stupid.

How does this board compare to Asus B250 MINING EXPERT? Not that I can afford a bunch of GPUs. But useful information to know for the future.

Seems like if you mine a brand new coin like a few days old you can get a few thousand a day even with crappy hardware like mine. Of course it's totally worthless. By the time it's worth a few cents USD can be lucky to get a few hundred coins per day.

Even though people say good things about it, I don't think I'd want to keep any crypto in an online wallet. So many things hacked lately.

Would be also good to have a time scheduler. So can mine different coins at different times of the day and switch automatically. Or is there something like that already?

check nicehash for ideas maybe

Don't really want to just sell GPU time on nicehash. Would rather choose specifically what to mine and when.

I could code such a scheduler application myself but kind of lazy to do it heh.

In practical China VPN over the wall becomes more and more difficult, Intense coin this coin will let more people yearn for the freedom of the spirit of the world can be realized. The price of ITNS will go to the moon in a few years Kiss Kiss Kiss

It is easy to see that China with the Great Firewall is the biggest and most potential market for intense to triumph. I was is Shanghai once in 2016 and damn it, I cannot even upload my photos to facebook....

Oh god the pain. Trying to google, trying to upload to Facebook. It's terrible.

One concern I do have is about VPN protocols. Some are very unstable or even totally unusable in China. Would be good if the decentralized VPN network was dynamically multi-protocol.

Unless they stop all internet, they cannot stop us. If needed we can expand zcash/zerocoin and ignore their dictate.

Yes they absolutely can. If the government regulates all exchanges with transparency, reporting, management, liquidity requirements etc and shuts down or imprisons for non-compliance.... where will you trade then? You'll have no choice but the obey the dictate unless you plan to trade totally OTC. Blockchain technology is irrelevant to the regulation of exchanges.

I bet mining on phone will kill your battery in no time from having to recharge multiple times per day. Hashrate would be so low surely can't make up the cost of new battery or phone replacement.

ITNS because I want to have a VPN network that doesn't suck when I visit China. Hopefully coin will be successful so people will be willing to become exit nodes.

Reading the whitepaper, I am curious about this:

Quote from: Whitepaper
users interested in utilizing the peer-to-peer VPN as clients will select network users meeting their criteria in terms of price/rate in ITNS, location and speed

Does this mean users will select exit nodes on a user-by-user basis? Won't that mean potentially having to choose from thousands of exit nodes? Even if there is a parameters search.

Is there any plan to allow users to select a range of parameters, e.g. preferred price range, locations, speed ranges etc, then have the connection selected automatically? And dynamically switch if disconnects or performance is too low?

My main interest in a decentralized VPN is dynamic connections like that. Using VPN in China sucks so hard, constantly disconnects and having to switch exit nodes manually which is a pain. Would be great if it happened automatically.

Bitcoin will always stay at first place in cryptocurrency world.

Remember IBM? Kodak? AOL? Nothing stays at the top of their industry forever, no matter how huge they are at the start. "Always" is a long time.

Is there any particular reason to mine this coin? New features, some service or purpose this coin will be used for? Sure can mine a ton of coins at this early stage, but any reason to believe this will go up in value? Seems like just a clone coin that doesn't do anything else.
