Re: What is going on actually??

I am really surprised seeing the current situation of the market. Approximately, all he popular coin price is drastically falling. What is it symbolizing?? Should I do invest now or wait to see what happen?Huh

It is a good time to bag some more coins at the bottom. There are reports that Mt Gox is dumping again and it is causing the free fall of BTC which in turn is affecting the alts. It is not a time to be moody but great time for you to pack coins at cheap prices for bumper profits when the market recovers

Re: If Cryptos are the future why are we in the RED?
by

Why?

Because that is how it was meant to grow. There is nor organic movement without a pull back unless it is a manipulated coin. Crypto is defined by its volatility. It won't keep rising for a long time. It goes up, then comes back down before continuing its journey to the moon

Re: Are you afraid of hackers?
by
Deji87
on 23/05/2018, 12:21:38 UTC
Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?

Bloomberg is blowing this hacking issue out of proportion. If we start talking about how many amounts of dollars have been stolen by robbers since banks were established or how many debit/credit cards have been hacked, it would dwarf what hackers have carted away with in crypto so far. Everyone has a responsibility to keep their private details safe and avoid clicking every link you receive in your email.

Re: What if this happened?

Hi all

What if this happened?  In this year

1 viu = 1$
1 universa = 1$

Become rich? Cheesy
Tell me what you think

* At this moment 1 viu = <0.01$ & 1 universa  = 0.018$

If this happens then we'd be seeing a new league of young whales. But what would move the market price to that value? Who would be buying a coin that has as much as over a  billion total supply for a dollar?

Re: Patience is the key
by
Deji87

As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks

Labake you have spoken well. When I introduced my friend to crypto in January, I told him on the importance of holding and patience. He agreed. But a few weeks after he received 222,222 Hydro token as an airdrop, he sold it off cheap for as low as $15 USD because he needed money. As I type this now, that 222,222 Hydro tokens he received is now worth over $3000 USD. He is still regretting up till now. That is why it is important to cultivate the habit of holding no matter what happens. It is always worth it in the end.

Re: $12000 to invest in long term. Which coin? :D
by

on 17/05/2018, 13:48:24 UTC
Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term?
How long should I hold it?

Is there a risk that I might lose it all?

I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  Huh

I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea?

Yeah. You were definitely a noob.

You can hold till anytime you want. Till eternity perhaps?

There is a risk in everything we do in life. Merely breathing or farting itself is a risk

Head over to the child boards to get some knowledge of crypto as a beginner

What the fuck do you know about Litecoin?

You can invest in Ada, Iota and Neo. These are very good coins that can give awesome returns

Do you think ethereum is the best blockchain protocol?

I haven't really used other blockchain protocols so it may seem a bit biased but I feel Ethereum blockchain is very easy to use and also flexible. It is no wonder that devs prefer to work with it for ico projects

This was confirmed as a hoax. These whales keep seeking new ways of causing FUD in other to destabilize the market and cause panic selling. Have no fear. This too shall pass. Keep holding.

Maybe profit taking!
Maybe people are trading for a quick profit and are not long term investors!

At some point or the other people will have to take profit. But every one can't be taking profit at the same time. Maybe there is a FUD news circulating and causing panic

Re: Do you feel positive about alt-coins
by

The coins in circulation are too much. It is already impacting negatively on BTC. If nothing is done to regulate the way new tokens are being churned out from icos on a daily basis, we might have a terrible situation in the crypto world generally

Re: Am I cursed?
by
Deji87
on 17/05/2018, 07:26:38 UTC
I don't know if I am cursed or something. If I sell a coin now from airdrop/bounty few days later that coins increases much that you will regret selling. If I hold a coin from airdrop/bounty again that coins price decreases much that you will regret not selling right away. I'm confused now whenever I sell the price increases and when I hold the price decreases. Am I cursed?  Cry

My friend, this happened to me too. I am very tired of this. I get good coins but when I hold them it dumps. If I sell them it moons very much. I don't know how to go about this. I think my late grandmother is on my case.

Re: What do you do when your coin spikes?
by
Deji87
on 14/05/2018, 16:56:00 UTC
One thing I noticed is when my coins spike up like that and I sell, it will almost usually continue spiking upwards and I'd feel silly for selling it too fast. But when I hold after it spikes, that is exactly when the coin will start going down. It can be really frustrating

Re: KUcoin forcing KYC for every users
by

They have to adhere to the rules and regulations of the country where they are based. I'm sure kucoin doesn't give a hoot about kyc as long as it doesn't stop them from earning fat profits from transaction fees and coin listings. If you can't do kyc then it is time to start thinking of joining a new exchange

Re: Will ICO die in 2018?
by
Deji87
on 13/05/2018, 22:19:36 UTC
For icos to thrive well, then there's a need to limit bonuses, airdrops and pay bounty hunters in ethereum or any other cryptocurrencies different from the tokens to be sold for the specific ico. Dumping discourages investors from participating in most icos and the people who dump the most are those who receive bumper bonuses as well as airdroppers and bounty hunters

Re: is this true ?
by
Deji87
on 12/05/2018, 15:43:39 UTC
There maybe some truth in it. I mean why else would Facebook ban every other cryptocurrency adverts on their platform? I see it as a strategic way to eliminate the competition. Facebook has the massive community. So integrating cryptocurrency into their platform won't be unrealistic
