Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum???

Solana quickly became a favorite among many investors, Does it became the next Ethereum Huh Huh Huh

It's funny how people compare altcoins. Solana can't be the next Ethereum because we've seen instances where Solana turns off and on lol. Ethereum remains the number one altcoin, deal with it.

Re: Reasons why exchange coins moving up..
by
Dellosoft
on 14/02/2020, 14:30:22 UTC
There was a time when investors and newbies went on a crazy spree to invest on exchange tokens like BNB, OKB, BIX, HUOBI TOKEN, Kucoin Shares and Aurora...

Many of them strated pumping from 3-4 days and it was not a small one. I have seen that this happens when BTC moves big. What is your opinion on this..?

The hype around exchange coins died down, even though I benefited from exchange coins during that season. It's good to always follow the trend, the aim is to make profit lol.

If E3T can actually solve the problem of Entrepreneurs not meeting the right people and also funding challenges, that will be a remarkable step. I've gone through the project vision and I really hope it's accomplished.

Re: Do not invest based on the "telegram community"
by
Dellosoft
on 16/11/2019, 13:58:58 UTC
In regards to this, there are still highly manipulative practices that occur, that's with groups in excess of 15-20k members.

Most naturally grown Telegram groups consist of 5-15k members, before a sale is finished or finalized. Anything ranging from 20-100k, that was made post-2018, is consisted of fake, accounts pulled from other groups and other highly manipulative practices. These types of crypto groups you should always avoid.

Concurrently, there are a lot of "influencer" groups consisting of a few thousand members, with a crazy amount of activity. These are also highly faked telegram groups, running bots with fake messages and or paid messages for a specific time, to make the group appear active in order to sell AMAs or other public events for crypto teams. If you're serious about crypto in any way, then you won't be in these groups listening to some guy talking about the latest coin he's shilling. It's great for quick research, but always know these guys are in it for themselves, they are ultimately looking to profit from your voice, time and activity; just like any tech company in the real world. "Data is king."

All in all, when in doubt, view groups like Binance's groups, Binance's shilled IEOs and see how many members they have. Chances are, it will denote a reasonable Telegram group community size for any given period in the broader crypto market.

Also, as OP said, never invest based on the groups. A lot of shills, a lot of FOMO, a lot of nonsense and a lot more shady motherfuckers; all there to solely manipulate your thoughts. Even worse are the groups who ban users for giving critical feedback (in a non-shit talk way), because it may cause other users to ask the same questions.
Most of those very large groups have bot members, very true sir. I was astonished to see an advert by someone saying he adds fake members at the rate of 1000 members for 5$. This means one can easily add 10k members with just 50$. Some bounties even have telegram activity, aside from the bot chats you mentioned here. Investors who get carried away by "large community" will always fall prey when they see these large telegram groups.

Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again
by
Dellosoft
on 15/11/2019, 15:42:37 UTC
altcoin will comeback again for following reasons:

1 There are many thing that bitcoin cant can't fulfill, that's why altcoin needed for developing crypto

2 whales wanna make big profit, altcoin can give it

3 regulation hasnt changed. it is still possibly that altcoin can grow like what happened in the past

Altcoins still have a good role to play in crypto ecosystem, even though the major issue on ground now is that most team members behind  altcoin projects are just in for the money and once they hit their target, they move on to launch a new project rendering the former useless. Well, we traders still make profit from altcoin trading especially for short to mid term. I'm hoping to see real world adoption for some altcoins in future, most of their applications are merely theoretical.

Re: Is crypto-powered social network a trend?
by

on 14/11/2019, 15:04:13 UTC
Blockchain-based social media platform creation is an excellent idea. I think it fits the spirit of Blockchain.

Although Steemit was the first pioneer, he faced some problems and gradually began to lose his old importance.

In recent months, Steemit has launched a new campaign called #Newsteem, for resurrection, but I have questions about how well this campaign has gone.

Frankly, I would like people to abandon centralized social media applications like Facebook and Instagram because these companies have been repeatedly proven to steal user data, which is not pleasant.

There are too many blockchain-based social media apps around, but I think none of them sounded like Voice.com. I am looking forward to this application designed by the EOS team, which is still in the project phase.
I think Steemit has funding issues, if not why the many ads making the platform look crappie. The issue with most of these crypto social platforms is that they can't compete with mainstream centralized social platforms at the moment. Talking about VOICE by block.one , I registered for the beta version but no recent update at the moment.

Re: StableCoins might increase crypto adoption by big companies ?
by
Dellosoft
on 13/11/2019, 20:43:20 UTC
You all might be knowing that Steam used to accept payments in bitcoin through BitPay, but they abruptly stopped it stating the price volatility of bitcoin to be the issue.
Stablecoins eliminates this very issue, could this encourage Steam or other companies like Amazon, etc. to start incorporating cryptocurrencies into their payment systems.
Is it possible some stablecoin might outperform bitcoin regarding this?
No stablecoin can outperform bitcoin when it comes to acceptance in this regard, but obviously mainstream companies might prefer to accept stable coins due to the market volatility. For instance, an online store in my zone previously accepting BTC, ETH and USDT now accepts only USDT, for same volatility reasons.

Re: Altcoiners now is your chance

Buy Altcoin at the lowest price for now and hold it until altcoin season. Must choose a coin that is ranked in the top 50 in the CMC. that's a safe choice. But pay attention to community support. Very important, because it will affect the price of the coin. Check the schedule of events that are held, the event will make positive news and make prices go up.
The issue is knowing the "lowest prices" to buy altcoins, since most times we buy at dip and price still gets dipper, this happened to me when I bought DENT at 13 sats and price went down to 4 sats. It's best to accumulate in parts anyway, but I'm having my major holding (70%) in Bitcoin. Recently I bought more NPXS hoping for the best since the development so far is encouraging even though price is down.

Start buying altcoins before its too late, the red market you are all complaining about is a big opportunity for those who knows that altcoin time will arrive, all you need to do is ....

1. Buy altcoins that have real use cases or backed with real wprking product, they tend to always have value better than copied projects.

2. Take it or leave it, new good projects will bring better ROI than many old altcoins, feels like we've seem how far old altcoins can go already, now its new altcoins time.
It's ironical that some altcoins with good product (example NPXS) haven't performed well over time, but I like the points you stated. It's high time all crypto enthusiasts start thinking in this direction, only hold coins with good use cases and products. When you say "now it's new altcoins time" , are there reasons for this statement?

Re: What is your favorite project these days?
by

on 10/11/2019, 17:23:04 UTC
Not only for today but as long as I am still in crypto, Bitcoin and Doge are also my favorite coins.

Klaytn, almost made me interested to have it but I am still considering, in more detail https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/klaytn/
Why is it that many crypto enthusiasts developed interest in Klatyn, hope it's not just because it's from KAKAOTALK team. In as much as I do like a good team which is my number one consideration, I still look deep into other aspects of the project anyway.  BTC remains my ultimate, takes 70% of my portfolio any day. I got some ETH too and 2 other altcoins.

I hope entrepreneurs from Africa will also be considered in this quest to link entrepreneurs, no barriers right? If so, then it will really go a long way. I wish the team good luck with project development, and also fund management is very vital for survival of a project like this, do well to apportion the required funds for the right purpose. Will there be a mobile app to link entrepreneurs? Is there a required number of tokens to hold to be eligible for the platform benefits?

Re: Is it Possible Stellar Lumens/XLM Reach $100
by

on 09/11/2019, 18:05:58 UTC
I think it's not possible soon but yes Stellar will touch $100 in very short time. It's Very potential coin and always limelinght on Media.

So I Just ask Can stellar lumens reach $100 ?
It's possible but after so many years especially when crypto gains mainstream adoption (which is not forthcoming). Hope 100$ is not your sell target lol, it might never get to that price considering the total supply and current price. You should be aiming 1$ and not 100$. Reduce your huge expectations to avoid being disappointed, price spikes don't happen that way in crypto.

Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward??
by
Dellosoft
on 09/11/2019, 14:48:33 UTC
There are a lot of scam bounties in the altcoin section but its your fault to participate into them without checking the project, manager and if they actually have the budget in order to pay the participants. I had been myself in similar scenarios and since them I'm never going to participate into bounties who aren't have the necessary reserved budget of coins for the hunters as most of them simply announce the pool for bounty but after it ends they say " Oh, we're sorry but we didn't gather the sufficient funds in order to pay the bounty hunters".

Also please check this thread to see the most trusted bounty hunters on Bitcointalk --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4412712

It's true that there are many scam projects running bounties in this forum, we just need to be very selective before delving in. I pity investors who do not research properly before participating in token sale especially. I like participating in campaigns whereby the bounty manager has already been sent funds allocated for the bounty, even though nowadays it's hard to come by.  Also thanks for the link to top bounty managers on bitcointalk.

Re: No trading volume is same as dead coin
by

on 09/11/2019, 12:46:44 UTC
Are coins and tokens that have good value like 0.02 or even 0.2cent on exchanges with no volume the same bad news as coins that haven't made it to an exchange yet? what do you guys have to say about this? i am currently holding two different tokens with good value but no trading volume, any hope for such projects?
I'm also holding some tokens with very poor trading volume, hoping trading volume picks up in future. Honestly some project  developers who dumped their tokens allocated to the team do not even care about the project anymore, and if such token with low trading volume is in this category, then it's as good as a coin which never list on exchange.

Re: 5 Altcoins that could Outperform Bitcoin in 2020
by
Dellosoft
on 08/11/2019, 18:04:51 UTC
Okay so we're all familiarized with Nik Patel at this point, right? Guy has a top 5 of altcoins that he thinks can outperform btc next year. here's the list:

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/patels-altcoin-prediction-top-5-that-may-outperform-bitcoin-in-2020/

He didn't include trx, bpx, ada, xlm... thoughts?  Shocked

I tried going through the article but got a notification that it's only for pro members when I opened the link. I don't really think any altcoin can ever outperform bitcoin. I believe the analysis is just his choice of top altcoins with future prospects.  If he actually omitted TRX and XLM, he might have his reasons but those two are my long term holdings. Could you please mentioned his 5 choice coins here if possible?
