So can we please agree that this coin swap and this coin as a whole was a scam.  Dev had ppl exchange coin that was on an exchange for a coin that wasn't on exchange and disappeared after his real name was found out.  Axis and his friends are real scum bags.

"Dev" gets called out by real name and disappears  I don't think he ever had an end game for the scam clone coin as he was hoping it would still take off price wise.  He couldn't cash out any significant amount of coin because there was never any buy support to get ride of it.  The market movement was really just a small group if not just one person moving the coin over and over again to create volume at the cost of commission to the exchange.

You like a coin because of it's name space?  It's a giant premine scam with a "dev" that doesn't write code and commissioned a clone.  This is clearly a scam.  Find a different looser coin to pump and dump.

The original swap was already complicated/outdated. You have to send it manually to their wallet and then they were sending token to your ETH wallet. Now they keep it going. More complicated plans, with an even more complicated explanation about how it should work.

Because this is nothing but a scam

Coin still dead?

Yep.  The "dev" who took over this coin convinced people to trade in their existing coin for a new coin that is worthless and on no exchanges.  Total scam.

You are tireless. Years of fud.

I'm not sure why or who you hate so much but people besides that person hold carbon as well. Thanks for holding everyone down with your vendetta.

FUD?  Read the above comment from the last person.  There is legit warning signs all over the place about how this is a scam.  Refute any of the points I've made instead of crying that someone questions the scam.  I dare you.  Do it.  Stop bitching and open your eyes.

Greetings, friends at Carboncoin!

Now that Komodo Platform has a stable GUI available on mainnet for our BarterDEX decentralized exchange, allowing the average user to trade peer-to-peer via atomic swap with 80+ Bitcoin-protocol cryptocurrencies, we aim to expand the reach of our decentralized and open-source solutions and unite the coin communites -

  • ATOMIC Swap trading following Noel Tiernan's protocol
  • Control your own funds, maximizing security and privacy
  • Automatic orderbook matching, trading p2p
  • Integrate and List your coin for free
  • Set up SPV electrum server, allowing users to trade your coin without downloading the entire blockchain
  • Anyone can become a market maker or dedicated liquidity provider, pairing your coin with any other 80+ featured coin and allowing traders around the globe to access your coin
  • Native trade bots can automatically buy low and sell high, allowing low and high volume traders to provide liqudity 24 hours a day

>> BarterDEX protocol (wp/git) >>

The following requirements are necessary for an easy integration:
  • bitcoin protocol
  • CLTV (bip 65) support
  • gettxout and importaddress rpc calls
  • and 8 digits for one coin

What does a non-Bitcoin/zCash-protocl coin need to do to make atomic swaps possible on BarterDEX?

Quote from: jl777B, lead Developer at Komodo Platform
"the code to do all this is quite complicated and I assumed a bitcoin protocol coin, but it is possible to do the atomic swaps even if only 2of2 multisig is supported. So i guess a bitcoin protocol emulator for the subset of rpc calls that I use and at least a 2of2 multisig, but preferably CLTV mechanism to be able to handle both sides of the trade... this would require making changes to the existing barterDEX code, unless the bitcoin protocol emulator is really, really good and it actually works as a bitcoin protocol coin via rpc calls"

Our goal is to  integrate as many cryptocurrencies into our ecosystem as possible, providing end-users with unparalleled privacy and control of their funds! The developers of Komodo Platform would be more than happy to assist with integration into the ecosystem. Please send me a DM if you are interested in joining our decentralized exchange!

Note: according to our tracker, CARB does not have CLTV or importaddress. Is this still accurate? Any plans for implementation?

Coin has no plans at all and no dev unless it is paid to be contracted out no someone who can clone code that is allready done.  Coin has no innovation.

There is no Dev, only a hypeman who subcontracts this coin out, hence the super slow fucked up updates, even to major vulnerabilities that other coins update in hours, takes this coin months.

So the developer is trying to solicit ICO funds and thinks he can remain anonymous - Chris Carbon? A Christopher Brunden gave a carbon coin talk at Bristol, so that should be him.

Why is he hiding is identity? No legitimate ICO has done this. Also no legal documents for the ICO. Raising money for a forest? Are we supposed to forget that the whole premise for this coin was that it was backed by an existing forest. What happened to that, did it vanish or was it a scam?

He deleted all of my comments from this thread. I expect him to delete this also, but that's OK that's what the scam accusations forum is for, and these mass deletions have compelled me to research further, will start with who owns the land that that photoshopped forest was supposed to be on then I'll be able to prove fraud.

Thank you so much for proving and doing this.

Ha yeah man that's right, this network is totally shit - and yet your only tool is to make up shit on a forum, 3 years and that's the best you've got? Seriously, either you are a really limp dick, or the network is as secure as they say it is.

Oh yeah, or both. Yeah, both is definitely an option.

Who said anything about the network?  Stop smoking carbon.

when is the switch happening?

Hi there

The switch will happen after the new blockchain is live, after the ICO is completed.

The ICO will be formally announced with the release of the whitepapers in the coming few days.

The ICO and deployment of new protocol are expected to be completed, and coin switch in progress, by the end of the current year.

The existing network will run for (at least) long enough for all holders to make the switch.

Did I miss anything?

So almost a month and yet no whitepaper. Don't tell us it's because you have to make some changes due to recent developments in blockchain or something, something. That will not make sense, as you can't chase it all at once. If you serious about it, than you should just stick with the "Original" update and make a "Roadmap" for the future updates on the code. But so far you just feeding us with promises. You planning to sell 4 Billions in ICO, it is insane percentage of total coin supply, yet that will give you "only" 40-80 BTC with current price. Is this enough for you to commit for this coin? Will you be motivated to keep working on it, when you will sell all ICO at once? Maybe if you reduce total ICO amount and hold 50% of it for yourselves will be better? That way you will show trust in the coin u pitching and will motivate you to keep working on the coin, so your assets value will go only up?

Anyway, I hope you prove us wrong and make it happen.  Cool Peace  Cool

"Dev" cannot post a roadmap because he is not a dev at all and does not develop the coin.  He outsources someone to clone an existing coin and cannot keep paying for the maintenance of the coin.  He only wants to make a 2.0 because current Carbon coin keeps bottoming out sub satoshi on exchange which makes it untradable on all current exchanges.  "Dev" is just a bag holder and a promoter to  dump the coin he is stuck holding.

No it's not a joke.  Dev originally promised that this coin was going to get trees planted and offset tons of Carbon and produced bogus math to backup his claim.  Then he promised for months all this innovation for the coin and how there was always a big update around the corner that was going to revolutionize crypto.  Then he claims that this coin is backed by all these people and the diversity chart is always referenced as supposed proof of all the people that have the coin.  If you look at the diversity chart almost all the wallets have the exact same round amount of coin in them.  This is an indicator that someone just split their wallet up into many other wallets.  Dev promoted that this coin was going to be usable to buy all these great things and and at one point had a web store to get coffee beans and trees delivered to your house.  No one ever purchased anything.  Dev then goes on to promote that he is having a pop up coffee shop for two days.  During those two days there was only a total of four transactions on his blockchain.  That means that at best only 4 people purchased coffee and I would bet good money that the four transactions actually had nothing to do with the coffee shop.  He literally hosted an event that no one showed up to.  This coin really has only one person on multiple accounts creating all the defensive posts and small volume of trades.  Never forget the Carbon Coin Forest that was planted years ago that is really just pictures of trees planted as a windbreak on someone's farm.  The forest is fake, the events are fake, the store is fake, the volume is fake,  the new coin transition is going to be faked. DEV IS A FRAUD.

Dev is deleting this post as fast as ever.  Why not address this post instead of trying to wipe it.

Everytime you see this post is gone it means the actual DEV was here and did not address this forum or any of the questions posted by anyone.

This is the real official thread.  That other one is ran by a dev that is unable to dev and is scamming people with the coin trying to create a 2.0 model and a second ICO which makes no fucking sense at all.

We're working on some new services to make us more accessible. Very much an active concern!

But your pop up coffee shop that was up for two days were on days that only had four transactions total...  Too bad the coin is dead.

And we're only getting started...
User Ownership Venn Diagram

Currently 15.39 Bln coins out of a total of 16 Bln in circulation, the total market cap is $275 000 at 2s

Look at the actual transactions and it is obvious that most of the wallets are one of a few different amounts and are owned all by AXIS.  This coin is a scam.  Notice that this so called community isn't here in these forums....

coin is not a scam only it is just our thinking which makes it so and i think we should not lose our heart in this respect.

Look at the actual wallet amounts.  They are mostly for the same round amount over and over and over again.  This is a clear sign of a larger wallet being broken up into many smaller ones.
