You're wasting your time using full brute force. The keys are not placed randomly across the entire space — they follow a certain pattern. Open your eyes. I've been working on this puzzle for over 3 months, and I'm looking for smarter solutions — not brute force.

If you find this message useful, consider supporting me with a small donation:37BEYjCrU3Vmv8ZmhnKyWtnfcG4pbxWy7n

If there was a template, then during the entire existence of the puzzle, it would have already been found. Wink

What to do if I found the Public Key and Private Key?

Don't trust people here, lot of scammers. So if you find these key you need to send it to me in private message, if the key are correct, I send you the prize trust me bro Grin

I'm certain that the user neither has the private key nor has searched for it! From saying 'if the public key and the private key...', it's clear in the message that they have neither! Because if the private key had been found, then what need would they have for the public key—which they claim to have in the message??!!

Hello everyone,
I’m just an ordinary person who has poured every ounce of energy and savings into cracking Bitcoin Puzzle #71 for months.
This puzzle is unimaginably hard, with a private key range of 2^60 keys—far beyond anything I ever imagined.

I’ve scanned over 2^60 private keys, coming very close to the target address but still no success.
Every time I get close, it tears my heart apart, as my time, money, and energy drain away, and my life crumbles.

I have no money left, not even for basic living expenses, debts weigh on me like mountains, and I want to give up.
But a tiny flicker of hope inside me keeps me going.
I’m not chasing fortune; I’m just trying to survive, hoping for even the smallest help to breathe and keep fighting.

I sincerely ask you to help me. Even a tiny bit of BTC could give me the strength to live on.
I know it’s a lot to ask, but I’ve reached my breaking point.

This is my Bitcoin address:
bc1pe552kve5y4u4edvhq5egrw82e3zu9z8agtmywyysz9e2ajhtq5zsd5z0xu

Please help me. Give me a chance to survive.
Thank you, and may everyone who reads this be safe and well.

— A lonely, struggling, hopeful Puzzle #71 solo hunter

Did I just read “please fund my GPU rental for puzzle 71” ?
I do not intend to disrespect or accuse anyone, but when someone asks for help, the very first thing that must prove their genuine need for assistance is honesty. At the very least, if you had provided the wallet address used to pay for the server rentals so far, that would have strongly supported the truth of your claim! Instead, you gave an address that hasn’t had a single transaction.

 Hello everyone,

As I write this, I’m on the verge of tears.

I’ve fallen into a very deep struggle. The issues with my BTC project have completely overwhelmed me. Over the past few months, I’ve poured all my time and savings into trying to solve this, but the harsh reality has left me gasping for air.

I have no backing, no support, and no other resources to rely on. Not only is the project stuck, but my life is also stretched thin. Every day is filled with anxiety and fear.

I know there are many people asking for help online, but I promise you, I truly need it. Every single cent donated will be put to the most urgent use — buying equipment, covering living expenses, and continuing my work.

If you are willing to help, please see the sincerity and effort behind my plea. Please believe me — I am not trying to scam or put on a show. I’m just someone on the brink of breaking, reaching out with desperate hands.

Even the smallest help will give me the strength to keep going. I’m deeply grateful to everyone willing to lend a hand, and I will never forget it.

Thank you all so much.

If I could receive just 1 BTC, it would help me get through this crisis. In the future, I will give back to this community and to everyone who helped me.

Once again, thank you all.

Your request is normal: at least 1 btc  Grin  and have you tried going to work? delivery man, cleaner, handyman and so on... it will be better than asking here to throw Bitcoins at you ...

Get a job and develop the project in parallel... or just forget about it...

Why is it that every 5 puzzles from puzzle 135 onwards, one puzzle has its public key revealed, while the surrounding puzzles do not?

because there were transactions with them, whoever created the puzzle specifically revealed their public key.

everyone knows that there must be a spending transaction to reveal the public key but from question 135 onwards all the questions are difficult and reveal the public key for the puzzles where the prefix starts with 4 and ends with 7, why don't they reveal the public key for puzzles of equal difficulty

if you open it up to smaller puzzles, they will be solved very quickly

this information can help alot:

Service Pack Version: A disc with Service Pack 3 (SP3) will have more files than one with SP2 or the original RTM (Release To Manufacturing) version, as service packs include numerous updates and bug fixes.

Edition: While the core files are similar, there might be slight differences between Windows XP Home, Professional, Media Center Edition, or Tablet PC Edition discs.

Language: Different language versions would naturally have different sets of language-specific files.

Roughly speaking, we need to go through all the XP options  Cheesy

You are really writing for nothing.

The creator,
- He did not create this puzzle to sue anyone.
- He is not a cryptographer but a high level mathematician and software developer.
- Don't think that he is simple about seeds. (Even the seed examples he uses in software tests are complicated.)
- He played a developer role in wallet creation software.

He has not entered the forum for a long time. Maybe he can come after his camp and trip are over.

A little note to the creator = Finally "ResCU"

So how do you know this guy?

Maybe he’s saatoshi_rising, and he wants to confuse us with prefixes
Grin
That's right, and out of boredom he sits and tries to find the key.

I would also say that solving 80 bits, with some proper Tame precomputed database (with way less than half a billion DPs) takes much less than 20 seconds, even on a budget GPU. There is a precise balance where having too many DPs (of lower bits) is not beneficial, and having fewer DPs (of higher bits) is better overall.

Yep. But now, let’s say you’ve got a bot with a pre-calculated DP. Puzzle 71 can be solved in, like, 2 seconds on a CPU as soon as the public key pops up. It’s a huge problem if folks ain’t using MARA slipstream, if you ask me.  Wink

I also setup sniper bot on vps. But loose on sniping 69 😅. That winner bot is wild .....  and i promise if my bot get it , I will split 50 50 with the solver he he he🤪

How about you just not do that at all?

people's conscience does not allow them not to do this, everyone wants a freebie)

Either everything is not explained, or eternity does not apply to the author of the discovery of the key to 130 Smiley

Of course, it isn’t and it never will be explained, because the whole thing is a scam.

No. I demand that the creator of this puzzle withdraw all funds and end this agony of meaninglessness.

I'm not sure. But if he's reading, it's time to stop this madness before more people go crazy for nothing.

Currently, when I want to solve puzzle 71 using cuda, which is the best SOFTWARE to use?

Use Cyclone from Nomachine1 it do all !  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Is it so hard for you to look at the source code and find an error and fix it yourself, if it is there? It would be better to say thank you for the fact that Nomachine and other people from the forum post programs and help in implementing new ideas.

maybe the current security threat will stop at 72 bits and finding the 135 puzzle will be easier than finding the 71 now?

Try it and then tell us if you managed to find 135 faster than 71)

Riddle creator can laugh every day watching online geniuses demonstrate fake intelligence on this topic

This is not a puzzle, this is proof that the private keys of BTC are very resistant to hacking, and the stronger the entropy, the more difficult it is to get the private key, so when the key is made correctly - 256 bits - then you will never break it, only if you do not get access to the phrase or steal the private key itself, or the owner himself does not reveal it somewhere and so on Wink

Whats to stop these bots from just stealing from bitcoin in every wallet thats been dormant for a few months/years in the same way they do with these puzzles?

everything above 120 bits +- is safe to transfer and bots won't be able to steal it

I wonder how "safe" bitcoins 10min block window is
or was it some trick of puzzle creator..

having a farm, very quickly solve 69 having a public key, therefore it is not safe)

To search for files that contain any of these network-related includes, you can use grep

Code:
grep -rlIwE --include='*.[ch]' --include='*.cpp' 'winsock|tcpip|arpa|socket' .

The problem is when there is no source and it is not possible to grep the code. Wink

I learn a new trick here every day. Thanks! What should I do if I only have an .EXE file?

you can use WSL under Windows to avoid .exe files  Smiley
