It needs to test $100, and by testing I mean, cross it. Short term I would put a limit buy order in $96-$99 range, that is the safest.

Current 0.03 seems manipulated up from previous 0.02 steady state, probably in anticipation of MtGox. There's a risk holders who "bought the rumor" will "sell the news"

What is the grey line that goes from $265 top to projected $49? Is there a second price that defines that line other than the top?

I realize that we could pent up demand for bitcoin. Of course I'm looking for signs of a top.

It's like splitting stock: optically looks/feels better, but it's only psychological. When we hit the 21mm btc limit, if demand keeps going up the valuation will continue to skyrocket and .xxx01 btc will be worth alot
Amazing watching BTC go up relentlessly. I think it's actually better that it's not tied to an asset because there is nothing to anchor the price - ie. it can go up forever (theoretically). At some point, though the tide will turn and holders will take profits which may escalate into a big slide down, also without brakes. So enjoy the moment. I am!
