[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW
by

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW
Proof of Work

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to set up a docker container in my synology nas with the neo wallet inside for staking.
Anyone have done this before ?
Is the neo staking consumes a lot of CPU / ram ?

Thank you,

You don't need to leave the wallet open to stake. You get dividend every transaction based on the amount of NEO you have. You can claim the GAS anytime you want.
as long as you withdraw integer amount that is...

Re: Will Dogecoin have a future?
by

dogecoin is one of the coins that will survive alongside of btc forever. if for nothing else, just for the memes. but seriously, doge is affected not only by fundamentals, but by whims of comunity as well and looking at the price, it can't go much lower that it already is... everyone hopes for doge to moon, all of us have few thousands/millions of it here and there Smiley

Re: As Bitcoin's Price increase what would happen to Altcoins?
by
Devebuilder
on 24/10/2017, 17:07:01 UTC
as said before, it is just moving money from one pile to another. increase in price of btc means only that people took money out of alts or invested new money, but now in the for season it is mostly altmoney. so now people will sell btc to buy alts and increase alt prices again...

Re: everyone says Bitcoin will tank after Gold fork. What if it's opposite?
by

on 24/10/2017, 15:15:28 UTC
So that's it, the fall happened & has already stabilized. Funny that it dropped more or less the same value of the BTG, so there's no winner.
I was expecting at least a little panic fall.
we had a fork few months back, people learned how it works. there is no real drama around gold fork, s2x will be little bit different if it actually goes through, because it looks like it might not in the end.
In any case the correction already took place and even though we are on a downtrend now it should turn around within a week. I wouldn't expect it to be longer as people will buy btc in preparation of s2x for in mid november...

Re: where do I place 100k?
by
Devebuilder
on 24/10/2017, 14:53:27 UTC
Really depends on your risk profile. My personal strategy is to go 35% btc, 35% in 2-3 top 10 coins, 10-15% in some nice promising alts and leave the rest in fiat, because i like to have some spare change for btc dips or if I stumble upon some juicy market-making info...

Re: Do small investments make sense?
by
Devebuilder
on 24/10/2017, 14:45:18 UTC
the invested amount doesn't matter at all as investments are evaluated on ROI. Of course 20% profit from 10k$ is much more than from 10$, but if you have small money, invest small money. You can always use compound interest if you feel like swinging or trading the market. But take into account all the predictions we have for btc in 15-20 years - anywhere between 100k to 1m$ and beyond... so your 10 bucks can very well be worth 170-1700$ in that time and ask yourself if such an investment makes sense...

I wouldn't bother trying to mine this... It will be crazy valatile and crashing so hard. So far it looks like a scam, but regardless of what we think of it everyone is dumping this as soon as they get ther hands on it... if it survives till segwit 2x i would start considering it if it would be profitable, but definitely not now...

Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?
by
Devebuilder
on 24/10/2017, 13:56:12 UTC
Well in our country bitcoin gets mentioned quite a lot on TV (no commercials tho), but the problem is people always talk about the price and so on. The price is pretty high and people don't know they can buy just a small portion. On top of that an average BFU, specially older generations, can't operate a printer, not to mention pay with mobile device using crypto. TV show about crypto and btc would go much further imo, but then again, it would cost hell of a lot to produce. And of course we wouldn't get consensus for a decade, by which time TVs won't exist anyway  Grin

Re: Thinking of eventchain and powerledger investment
by
Devebuilder
on 24/10/2017, 13:47:54 UTC
I already invested in the eventchain and powerledger.. I very confused about these project now. Please expert comment how viable these projects??
asking for opinions AFTER investing is a strategy i would avoid in the future... as for powerledger, I would say it is a good choice. It had good reception and generaly cryptocomunity is positive on its future... Eventchain on the other hand is flying under the radar for now, no a lot a serious reviews, smallish community... I personally don't think it will be huge in the future, but if the team is able to deliver on their promises it should make you some money.
In any case you have to do your own due diligance and research in ICOs, preferably before spending any money Cheesy

And are you sure it is BTG? Could be just BTG futures, which is entirely different thing, but futures of forks are commonly traded before said forks. Hitbtc is trading B2X futures already for example and the fork will occure in 3-4 weeks... In any case BTG fork is very speculative one at best, I wouldn't be surprised if the coin crashed to ashes right after some exchange decides to actually trade it...
