Oh, too bad I wasn't online more to see this, but I am very glad to have been able to help.
If this offer still stands, I would be happy to still receive the 0.01 in BTC.

My BTC wallet address would be: 1MiGSTMiNTie91B7CZCk2M2g2vHC1NrNy2

Re: ETH to hold now or not?
by
DevelopmentBank
on 05/10/2018, 03:25:50 UTC
Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.
What's your thoughts on it? Should I hold now?

You should definitely hold now. Now that ETH is down you will only be locking in your losses by selling.

The wiser move would be to hold or even buy more so that you can profit in the up and coming bull run. Don't forget why you bought ETH in the first place, it is a great investment because of the superior technology and mass adoption rates.

Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI

You obviously haven't been reading financial news.  Bitmain is almost bankrupt.  Their supposed IPO is now considered an exit scam.  Their mining machines sell for basically nothing, except for the Z9 series.  They are bleeding cash and lost billions by converting their money into Bitcoin Cash which then crashed.  Innosilicon has a better chance to survive.

While this may be true, let's not forget that Bitmain now also has investments in other hot innovations like artificial intelligence. Given they do really lose a lot now that their "precious" bitcoin (tr)cash is running out of gas, i don't see them going bankrupt anytime soon.

Re: The next bull run is coming
by
DevelopmentBank
on 05/10/2018, 01:40:54 UTC
Hello guys;

I think that another bull run is coming, bitcoin will moon then altcoins will moon after, even if SEC rejects or delays ETF this September 30th. But I expect a big sell-off before that, which will conduct the total market cap to reach its ATL this year Under 200 billion USD.

What do you think guys?

So the september ETF decision has passed and it has again been delayed. No large sell off as expected happened. This is a good sign which further supports the theory that the next bull run is brewing. More and more people are now starting to hold or buy back bitcoin.

Bull run could start at any day now.

Re: If you had to HODL only 1 cryptocurrency for 10 years how should you choose?
by
DevelopmentBank
on 05/10/2018, 01:36:50 UTC
Let's see the answers!

I choose Btc. King is king always I think.

But I really love some alts. Wan, nano, vet, npxs, nem...

https://hackernoon.com/if-you-had-to-hodl-only-1-cryptocurrency-for-10-years-how-should-you-choose-5b1030293915

I do agree with you and think that Bitcoin is indeed king and a good long term investment. However, i'd also like to invest in a queen, and that would be none other than Ethereum.

If anything, who knows, ETH could even surpass bitcoin's value in 10 years.

Re: BER MONTHS, still legit?
by
DevelopmentBank
on 05/10/2018, 01:34:37 UTC
So september is going to end and it is already the fourth quarter of the year. Most prediction that once the third quarter of the year or once ber month comes the market will start to pump. But right now the market is still always turning red. So do you still believing that this remaining months the market will start to recover?

I still do believe that we should see a price pump in this last quarter of 2018. A lot of indicators point towards it and it seems like the bears have grown tired of shorting the system. All it takes is one good pump and it will chain reaction into a huge pump that could even bring us to new all time highs.

I'd say now is a great time to buy more.

Wow this is definitely some big news considering that Changelly has already become quite popular. Good thing i saw it this on the bitcointalk forum advertisment section. Surprised you paid that amount to get this listed.

People should really be made more aware if this is true.

I'm glad siacoin did this and it's a bold move on their part. Possibly similar to the move Monero made, almost a year ago. I don't see why Siacoin devs had to wait this long to even do this considering they are a direct competitor with their Siacoin Obelisk ASICs.

This won't hurt bitmain much tho. Bitmain is already filthy rich.

Re: Are we still early adopters?
by
DevelopmentBank
on 04/10/2018, 18:54:20 UTC
So what do you think, do you think we are still early adopters or that the train already left the station? I think that we are, I think so few people actually use crypto in their everyday life and that in the future a massive influx of people will be introduced to crypto is some way, I think the market cap will be in trillions to be honest, it is stated that in the Netherlands 3% of the population hold cryptocurrency in some way, 75% under 250€, now think about it, the Netherlands is one of the most advanced countries and yet only 3% hold crypto, think about the other unfortunate 3rd World countries that probably never even heard of crypto, I think in the future the crypto market will boom because of the influx of people, that is to say in some years from now and that will drastically improve the market cap, as I said, I think it will be in trillions, I think the 10 top coins will 100x in the next years( I don't mean in the next 2 years, much longer). So accumulate as much as you can of good valuable coins I think, the future seems bright as even Facebook thinks about creating a cryptocurrency now, as I said, mass adoption will make the market cap boom. So what are your opinions about it? Do you agree with me or not?

We are indeed early adopters. More than half the ward has yet to know or even hear about bitcoin! Can you imagine what would happen if everybody suddenly is informed of bitcoin's and other cryptocurrencie's potential to change the world?

I'd say you are right, now is the time to buy more coins for holding long term.

Re: Cardano or Electroneum???

Hi guys, want to invest a little bit in one of these project....which is better for  more profit in 1 year hold?Huh?

I'd also chime in and say that CARDANO is a better option.

The problem with Electroneum is that they've failed multiple times and they seem to keep showing that they are useless and incompetent. The only reason why Electroneum has value is because they over hyped their project. Just my 2 sats..

Re: Cryptocurrency to be Taught in Schools?
by
DevelopmentBank
on 04/10/2018, 16:19:00 UTC
Hi guys!
I'm pretty sure that many of you have been experiencing difficulty on making other people aware of cryptocurrency and how it works, right? I myself find it hard to explain it even to my own family. Once you mention it to them, the first thing that comes to their mind is that it's a scam. Can't blame them though because the news about crypto scams are always hyped in social media and believe me, even my 70 year old mom has Facebook!

Anyway, I realized that this is the case because there has never really been any formal education about it at all. We knew about it only thru word of the mouth right and we only got to learn it slowly thru experience. This said, I'm thinking, what if it's taught in schools? Perhaps just start with those taking Accountancy or Banking and Finance courses to begin with, then eventually incorporate it to Mathematics subject or whatever in High School? After all, they were able to do that with banking, right? Why not with cryptocurrency? What do you think?

It will be taught, but not as much as i think you are expecting it to be.

Teachers will talk about it in passing in classes like math, economics, and of course computer science or engineering. But bottom line is, it doesn't need to be a whole course or anything like that unless you plan to build things with it. People just need to know what it's capabilities and limitations are.

Vosk
I sent you a PM on the 6th and again on the 11th.
If you want an idea of what you can do with those miners have a look at it.

There are loads of ways of potentially making money..
I'm making 0.001BTC a day from 1 Rig alone ! (66 watts total power - Cost of 0.000057 BTC)
In a short time when it halves, that will still be 0.0005 BTC for probably the next 90 days...

Give me a shout sometime.

BTW...Happy Birthday TAILS !
J

Why not share this info with the community here instead of just Vosk?
Granted, i love the way Vosk does videos, but he is no supreme being.

If anything, i'd really be interested in talking to someone who is still earning from mining today (without owning a large mining farm with ultra cheap electricity).

Re: Bull run can be surprising?
by
DevelopmentBank
on 03/10/2018, 17:22:43 UTC
The scenario that we've been experiencing lately, made me learn a lot of angles which every traders or investors did speculate after certain dips happened in the market of bitcoin. Relentlessly I've been feeling so low after all upon seeing the price dropped 10% and continually it goes down at the dipped value now.
I tried myself not to be stressed with the current downfall happening, and just think of a positive drive that could give me enough strength to handle situations like this that bull run can be surprising.

As many experts and no experts predicted bull run to happen this last months of the year, bearish market increased but it doesn't stop their because people now were more mature as they more particular on listening thus predictions at very last tolerance to possibly happen that bull run could initiate and will surprise everyone at a random date this year.

It's more than possible that a bull run will just surprise us one morning. We can't really predict outcomes now because bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies now have huge market caps which in turn have brought in numerous investors resulting in also numerous possible market outcomes.

The safest thing to do in this case is to simply buy more bitcoin.

Re: KYC for bounty hunters Yes or No
by
DevelopmentBank
on 03/10/2018, 17:17:41 UTC
hy all,

please i m sorry asking this or...

i know that someone else might posted this earlier but i want to confirm why is KYC necessary for bounty hunter?
or do you think KYC is for Investors alone or for both.

but to me i found out that kyc is just for investor because bounty hunters are just to promote the project and make the ico successful so i don't see any reason why kyc should be for bounty hunters.

to me proof of authentication is enough to cover the kyc because most times some people tries to cheat in the bounty campaign by submitting multiple account in a particular project, but the aids of the proof of authentication will help reduce the cheating and the rest.

so now tell me what do you think and what are you ideas?

Definitely a big NO-NO for me.

Why? My reasons are the ff:
  • Bounty hunters aren't even paid that much. Whats the point?
  • Bounty hunters can't always be considered investors if they aren't even paid in token form
  • It's simply too much hassle for too small amount

Re: Ether is about to rally strongly says Wall Street’s Tom Lee
by
DevelopmentBank
on 03/10/2018, 17:13:28 UTC
It appears our bitcoin bull turned bitcoin bagholder is presently one of the speculators who was catching all the ETH that were dumped in the market hehehe.

In any case, I am more optimistic of his predictions on bitcoin than of Ethereum. EOS is holding $4 billion in ETH. Other ICOs hold more than $100 million in ETH combined. That would be too hard for the ETH market, I reckon.

The last four out of four times it lagged its peers that badly, by two standard deviations, Lee said ether saw a “major trend reversal.”

“We believe Ethereum is about to stage a trend reversal and rally strongly,” Lee, managing partner and head of research at Fundstrat Global Advisors, said in a note to clients Thursday.

Lee meanwhile “believes sentiment is currently overly negative on ETH.” While it has underperformed its peers by two standard deviations, Lee said that’s “a sign of capitulation.”

The former J.P. Morgan Chief Equity Strategist said the cryptocurrency was “dogged” by a heavy supply being sold from EOS, which built its platform on ethereum then switched it to its own new token. Lee also highlighted questions about its blockchain technology’s road-map and “panic selling” by ICO teams.

Great post! I can't believe i got into an argument with you previously.

Anyway, this is good news for Ethereum and i echo the sentiment that ETH is about to do a trend reversal and "rally strong." All indicators point to growth and the intrinsic superiority of Ethereum's technology is always a good support for these claims. I'm buying more ETH today.

please some  advice..
i had bought SIG some time ago and was loosing money with them...
i have them in novaexchange. what will happen now? what should i do with my coins? should i transfer them elsewhere?
thanks in advance

Sad to say but, Signatum was really just a pump and dump project. Never could really expect much value from a coin like that. If anything, i would guess that the devs have stopped developing it and have no further plans to do so.

I'd sell it for any value it has left and move on.

Re: Are Bounty Hunters also considered Investors?
by
DevelopmentBank
on 27/09/2018, 16:06:51 UTC
I normally see some crypto projects which promise Investors certain amount of dividend depending on how much coin/token they own.

The word "Investors" is normally used for people who own shares of a particular project/company, but in cryptocurrency this "shares" normally refers to coins/tokens, which makes me wonder if bounty/airdrop hunters are also considered "Investors" since they hold certain quantity of these coins/token

Technically, yes. But i would say, it depends.

If the bounty hunter holds the rewarded coins then i would say yes. He invested his resources (albeit, time) into the project and will get a reward for it. But then again, it depends on the bounty. Does the bounty pain in tokens or in some other fungible reward? What the reward is and what happens to it would give you a better idea.

Re: GPU mining will die in 2018!
by

on 27/09/2018, 16:01:37 UTC
Little by little we will reach that point, gentleman, everything is in a decay so big that it is impressive for us, and at the same time it is bad for many people who invested so much in a expensive GPU.

Yeah sadly this is slowly being a reality. The good thing is, you invested in actual phyiscal hardware and actually sell this (granted, at a loss) to still get some value out of it. Just imagine if you had invested in coins directly during 2017's all time high. You'd have blue balls by now trying to hold.

Look at the bright side! Mining was fun!

Re: Why do you think the market is down right now?

on 27/09/2018, 15:59:08 UTC
is it all that is going on with regulations?

Big whales just waiting?

People do not believe in crypto anymore?

is it trouble in some countries in ASIA with laws and regulations?

My guess is that people are waiting on those regulations to be decided on.

It's a never ending tale this bitcoin ETF thing. One sadly that has taken it's toll on not only bitcoin but the entire crypto market as a whole. They should just make a decision, whether approved or not, crypto should stop worrying about bitcoin ETF and focus on the technology and it's potential to help change the world for the better.
